I hired Erie metal roofing to do my roof , After the wife and I told the salesman we would probably not be giving out home to the kids he did not even try to sake us a metal roof or give us a price , He went right into showing me asphalt shingles that he said Erie made exclusively up in Toledo Ohio at their plant . On and on he went about how great the shingles were compared to ALL others , After five hour sales pitch ,I said ok to these great shingles I thought , A few days later I was delivered IKO shingles that cost 6.5 half as much as I paid . I ended up paying over $10K for a warranty after I researched the cost , The cost of the roofing and labor was under $4500 . I was sold a shingle that does not exist or made baby Erie , Please be very aware of these guys . I'm still working with the company to get this fixed , The installers were a great bunch of young men from Ohio and I thank them for doing a great job ,but it was not what a bought from the thieves they work for .
