Salesman was knowledgable and professional.  He was not pushy.
Installers were professional, cleaned up after themselves, showed up on time.  Windows are great and
have cut down on our heating bills as they are very energy efficient

Our salesman, Wayne Stock, was fantastic - best sales person I have dealt with in years.  Very friendly, knowledgeable about the product, explained all in detail and did not pressure us for a sale.  Window World's price was less than the other quote we received.  Measurements done within a week of signing contract and delivery of windows in 4 weeks.  Our installer, Mike Viviano, was on time (which is unusual these days), courteous and worked the entire day.  His boss also stopped during the day to see how the job was progressing and if we had any problems or questions.  Since I'm writing this the day the windows were installed, don't know if there will be any problems, but I am confident in Window World's warranty and employees that I will be a satisfied customer.  Would definitely recommend the company.

If I wasn't even satisfied and impressed with what I saw then I wouldn't even go with them. It was going nicely. I called the representative that I wanted an estimate and he was out here and that's even around the holidays which I didn't expect and then he called me and said that my windows won't be ready till March installation and it was fine with me and by February I was updated on the installation. I have seen the their advertisement on t.v. and newspaper and said I would give them a shot, let them come and see what they'd come out with an estimate and see what their products like and I was satisfied with their products and price.

The windows seem high quality. Whenever I had an issue, they did resolve it. The only thing I didn't like was that the salesperson told me what I wanted to hear. I had a timeframe I needed the work done in and that was promised but there was a lot of follow-up needed to have the work completed by the time it needed to be done.

They were very kind, punctual and professional..  However, I find them very drafty. I thought they were more insulated and would keep cold air out.

The sales process was below average but the Installer did a good job.

Window World Pittsburgh Pa. was a pleasure to deal with. We told the sales staff what we were looking for and they directed us to that product at the showroom. They took the time to explain in great detail what options and upgrades were available, however at no time tried a hard sales pitch tactic like some previous places we had looked at, for upgrades.  ( I will not mention their name, but " Buy one side- get one side free " comes to mind ).We decided to make our purchase thru Window World .They set an appointment time for someone to come out and measure, and this person was prompt and very professional, and gave us an appx. date we could expect an install. Within a short time we recieved a phone call saying the manufacturing had begun and would be ready to be shipped in a couple of days. Later that week we recieved a phone call with an install date, appx. 7-10 out. Two days before our install we recieved a phone call for an out of town family emergency. I called the installers and they were very cooperative and understanding. About two weeks later after returning home we called to re-schedule, and were given an install date of within a week as well as the name of our installer. His name was Todd Police.When Todd arrived he introduced himself, and we found him to be very pleasant and professional and informative on the process. He asked if we had any questions before he started and we did. We explained we just had new wall to wall carpet installed on the second floor, and it was a very light color where the windows were being installed. He removed his shoes ( which we did not expect ) and walked to the area he would be working. He went to his trailer and unloaded the new windows onto the porch, then got several canvas drop cloths as well as several plastic ones. He again removed his shoes and completely covered his working area as well as covering the furniture. Todd was very respectful of our property and went beyond the limits to minimize any dirt/dust. His work was extremely thorough and his attitude towards it was nothing short of remarkable. After installation he had us review each one for satisfaction as well as demonstrated to us the workings  of the windows.
We would not hesitate to use Window World in the future with people like Todd Police doing installs, and the entire staff we dealt with making this a very pleasant experience. The windows are great and so are the people.

We called ww to get an estimate and got a quick response. The guy( can't remember his name) came out and explained the whole thing from efficency to  price and warranty.  He also told us about their financing which was half down when they were installed and then 0% financing. They placed the order and we waited 4 weeks till theycame in. The men came out and installed all but 1 window and were very knowledgeable, polite, and cleaned up completely. One window was measured incorrectly and before they removed the window they could tell.  They reordered the correct size and it came in 3 weeks later. They came back out and installed the window.  Overall, the experience with ww was good, we haven't had any problems with the windows and they have kept our house warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. The price was good for the size of windows we have, $189 any size window up to a certain size and I think ours was pretty large. The warranty is a lifetime warranty and if the screen tears or gets a hole they will repair or replace it for free.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to anyone.

I called the company from an ad of theirs, and a rep came out.  He was pleasant, informative and quoted good prices.  I liked what I heard, so I looked up the company on Angie's List before signing a contract.  I found several problems listed several times...so it was not just one person who found problems with this company.  Because I liked the rep, his presentation and the prices he quoted, I thought I would give this company a chance to overcome the negatives about them on Angie's List by offering to do business with them if they would write a contract with me which protected me from loss due to the problems identified on Angie's List.  I thought I was being more than fair, and helpful to them by offering this instead of just saying no to them because of the problems listed on Angie's List.  The rep became defensive and began to argue with me about why nobody should use Angie's List. I listened, and again reiterated that I was trying to give him a chance to get my business, but that I would need some protection against the identified and repeated problems people had had with his company in the past.  Instead of stopping his rant to accept some business, he carried his argument on and on and on about how ridiculous it is to use Angie's List...  So I'm not going with this company.

Things did not start out well with Window World due to the representative that was sent out. I think he was young, immature and lacked professionalism for the job. This was all cleaned up when I spoke to one of the owners who apologized for the behavior of his employee.  The man that came to measure the windows and the men that installed them could not have been better at there job. They were there when they said they would be and you would have never known they were there. They cleaned up behind themselves and were fantastic at their job. I was very impressed.  I don't think you could beat the price for the quality you get in the windows.

I hired them in to install four windows and the first time I used them they did a great job. The second time they came out they really botched the job up. They did not seal the frames and they area was busted up. It took quite a bit of work afterwards to fix it. The work seems hit or miss on quality. 3/4 windows looked fine.

Everything went well.  Four gentlemen promptly arrived and completed the job within the day, and they cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated.

Overall it was good. When I called them back about the issues they came back out to handle it.

The contract was signed 9/23/10 and I was told it would take 3-5 wk. The installer came 11/29/10 to install the windows. He fined out –two windows were not operated properly and one was wrong sized.  He measured 3 windows and reordered them again. In the few months the contractor came to install 3 windows – and fined that one was not working. He measured one window and reordered them again. Last Friday 4/22/11 they called me and  tolled the window is ready to install. I asked the manager of Window World co. Tony Black to give me a credit for company awful performance 7 months after signing contract. He was ready to give a max $60.00. Terrible service from start to finish definitely not going to recommend or use again  

They are wonderful. They came, in put the windows up and cleaned up. The job tuned out good.

The contract was signed 5/25/10 and we were told it would take 3-5 wk depending on the weather. My husband cancelled a trip for the middle of July. They called the end of June and said they would be here Aug. 2. They called again and changed it to 8/9, no later than 8/11. I was told they would work the weekend. No one showed on 8/11 and I callede the company. I was informed that someone would be here on Thurs. They didn't work the weekend. The wrong color window trim was ordered, 1 wrong sized window and the sliding doors weren't ordered properly. It is now 8/19. The siding isn't done, the window and sliding doors aren't here. I called the company and asked for another crew and was told Steve was the only one who knew how to do the siding. Steve didn't come yesterday and it is 12 noon and he isn't here. He called and was doing some other work. This is the second time they pulled him to do something else. We were told that they had several subcontractors that they use on a regular basis. We were told that they weren't responsible for plant damage but they could at least cover the plants or try not to hit them. I will not recommend them. Our friend was going to use them but has since changed his mind. I also paid $150 for environmental fee and that was never done

Steven, the salesman came out and was very professional and not high pressure. He showed me a sample of the windows and let the product speak for itself. He suggested to combine two windows into one big sliding window on each side of my patio room...which saved me money as it was only one window to replace instead of two. Plus it looks nicer and provides a better view of my backyard. A week later a man came out and measured and said they would be ready in 6 weeks. In six weeks to the day Window World called to schedule an installation. Larry Lipovsky was the installer and he was excellent. Very efficient, professional and talented. His crew installed the 7 windows in about 4 hours. They caulked, sealed and replaced new aluminum trim around all windows. They look great. They cleaned up every bit of mess and hauled away the debris. I did have some problems related to the major snow storm that occured the next day...February 5th 2010. Larry Lipovosky came out during the blizzard to address the problem from the ice and snow from the storm. Window World and Larry stand behind their warranty and work. I would recommend Steven the salesman and Larry Lipovsky the installer. Larry takes great pride in his work and made sure the windows were perfect. He took extra time to speak with my insurance company about the damage from the ice and snow for me. He was great. I would use this company and installer again. Thank you for your work.

All of the windows were non standard and had to be made to order. Measurments were taken the same week we placed the order and we received a call in less than a month that the windows were in and ready. An installation date was set for a Tuesday, ten days following this notification. The crew arrived at 8:30 AM and worked straight through until 5:30, completing the job in one day. This eliminated the only potential problem with the installation. The workmen initially were uncertain if they could finish in one day. They explained that if a second day was necessary they would not return until Saturday as they had been scheduled for only one day. Our job, due to the age of the house and job size was difficult to complete. Apparently the central office that schedules the jobs should have scheduled two days in a row. There was no problem due to the hard work of the crew and good weather, but this is something to watch out for if a large job is planned. The workmen were courteous and efficient. The cleanup was complete and quick. In addition to work tarps laid in each room they brought along their own vacumn and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Immediately after they left you couldn't tell workmen had been there. We are extemely satisfied with the fit and quality of the windows. Not only are we now draft free, an unexpected bonus was the amount of sound insulation we gained with the new windows.

The salesman was polite, honest, and flexible. The installers were polite and quick. However, they did not clean up well after themselves. Our house was noticeably under construction anyway, but it would have been appreciated if they would have cleaned up the rusty nails and caulking tools that fell behind the radiator and were not discovered until well after they'd left the job.

This is the fifth time I used Window World. I was always happy with their sales rep and installers over the past 5 years. In April 2009 I had four windows and one storm door installed and I was not very happy with the product or the attitude of the installers. I still have 4 more entry doors and storm doors to install and I will not use Window World again. With Window World you pay for extra upgrades. I paid for the upgrades and feel that the installers did not do their job. So now I have to pay someone else to come and finish the job. NEVER AGAIN.

The job was pretty difficult due to the way the previous windows were installed. The overall quality of the workmanship was good. They installed the wrong windows the first time, which was actually my mistake and they came back and replaced the panes and only charged me for the difference, which I really appreciated because I thought that was more than fair.

We needed only two windows replaced in a rental apartment, I called Window World on referral from another Landlord. Within a day, I had an appointment for measurements and the windows ordered. They did take 3 weeks, but the wait was not an issue. The installers called me the night before installation, also 1/2 hour before, to let me know they were on their way, very respectiful to the property and the property of the tenant. Installation and clean up was quick. We will use them in the future for our residence and rentals!

I contacted Window World through their website and received a phone call within 45 minutes. I set up an appointment for them to come to our home and discuss window replacement. Seth was our salesman, he was very informative and professional. He brought a sample window to show us the features. We gave him a deposit. Another man came a week later to measure. About 4 weeks after that our windows were installed by Tim and his partner. It took them about 3 hours from start to finish. They were very efficent and worked as a team. It was a cold day and they kept the time the windows were out to a minimum. Before they left they showed me the features of all 3 windows and brought their own sweeper and cleaned everything up. We also walked around outside to make sure everything was right. The windows have worked well in the past few weeks, I can tell already they are way more energy efficient than the 30 year old windows they replaced. Plus they look great.
