Naturally, gutter professionals are quite busy this time of year.  When I called, I was told it would be a few weeks before they would get to my house and it was.  But, as promised, they called on a late November day and asked if it was a good day to come.  It was, and they arrived in less than an hour.  It didn't take them long to assess the situation and recommend a solution.  There was, indeed, standing water in the gutters (it rained the previous night), but the gutters are attached to the house in way that does not allow adjustment of the slope.  Since there was only one downspout on each gutter, they recommended the installation of two additional downspouts.  I agreed.  They went to get the materials they needed, returned quickly and got the job done. 
The installers were courteous, respectful, and communicated well.  They left no mess.  They even did a minor repair on one of our existing downspouts for no extra charge.

I was super pleased.  I was astounded and trust me that doesnt happen very often.  I wasnt even finished puttin in my info before he called for work.  He was excellent.

I spoke with Mr. Kuhn twice.  The first time we spoke he said he was very busy and would be able to inspect my roof within two weeks but would not commit to a firm date.  After a week and a half went by, called and spoke with him again.  He said that the earliest he could inspect my roof was within another week, but would not commit to a date.  It has been two weeks since we last spoke and still no inspection and no phone call to explain why.
Mr. Kuhn seems like he does not want any more business.  Both times when we spoke he said he was "very busy" and the second time he became frustrated when I asked him for a firm date saying "everybody wants their work done yesterday."  This might be true, but I all I wanted was a date that he could come and inspect my roof.

They fixed a gutter for me and cleaned them out too! Great work.

These guys did great work.  The crew is very professional and did a good job cleaning up.  I ask a lot of questions and they always thoroughly answered them.  They go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is satisfied.  Two great examples of this would be that while they were doing the gutters they noticed that my garage light was pulling away on the one side (it was like that before they started the job) and they fixed it.  They had to go up to the attic and noticed I had a loose step so they tightened it.  They did such a great job on the roof that I had them come back and re-do my front porch.

The services provide by Kuhn Home Improvement was excellent. I knew it was a smaller job for them but they indicated it could be fit in within their other jobs and would be completed in a timely manner. Within 10 days of accepting their reasonable estimate they were on site and doing the work. They were very professional, through in their clean up and while they were here I was able to get a smaller job reviewed by them. The 2 people on site worked well together and completed the job efficiently. I feel very confident that I would use them in the future if the need arises.

Tom's crew worked hard and did a wonderful job. They were here bright and early every day, cleaned up after themselves everyday and showed sincere concern that my 2 dogs not step on nails, etc.  They were very professional and the price was very reasonable. They will no doubt be my go-to home improvement company for future products.  Nice guys, all of them.

After calling to hire this company I found out (due to heavy rains) they were already a month behind on roofing work. However, because my job was so small, they were able to fit me in between larger jobs and came out only a couple days after I called. The crew was extremely polite, prompt and very professional. They did the work with a minimum of noise and absolutely no mess at all.
Since he was going to be on the roof anyways, I also asked the main repairman if he wouldn't mind cutting back some tree branches that were touching the roof (using a trimmer I provided). Not only were they happy to do that for me but the crew did other additional repairs as they came across them, even those outside the written estimate, without charging me a cent more. At the end of the job, you can't even tell there was ever a leak or rotting wood over the porch. It looks amazing.  
Not only would I use them again, but I will be recommending them to all my neighbors. Tom Kuhn Home Improvement is extremely professional.

My gutters were cleaned.   I thought I have a hole in one gutter but it was just an overload of leaves etc.  Tom arrived on time.

He made suggestions or slated roof and gave me a ball park price.  This could cost between 3 & 4 hundred dollars.  I will call him at a later date.

Very prompt and professional.  Workers were very polite and worked quietly.  Any concerns I had at the completion of the job were quickly rectified.  Would definitely use this company again.

Needed to replace the shingles on my roof along with the gutters and downspouts.  Called Tom Kuhn on a Monday and requested an estimate.  Tom called back and said they would have someone at the house the following Thursday.  The estimate arrived in the mail the following Monday.  I called Tom that day and gave him the go-ahead to do the work and asked how soon he thought it could be done.  He told me he thought they could start within two weeks.  I got a call one week later letting me know they could start the following Monday.  Tom and his crew arrived on Monday morning as promised and went right to work.  His crew was courteous and did excellent work.  They cleaned up at the end of each day and caused as little disruption as possible.  I am very pleased with the result and with the way the work was done.  Tom and company were very responsive, charged a fair price, and did excellent work.  I highly recommend them.

Very prompt, I am very pleased of him, coming out to my, I was very comfortable with him. He was not able to do the work, but he was very polite, and honest, and did not charge me anything.

Kuhn Home Improvements was prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Tom Kuhn was very responsive to phone calls and would always make sure I got an answer to any question that day. We received quotes from three different roofers and Kuhn Home Improvements was the cheapest. We chose to go with them not because they were the cheapest, but because they were the most responsive to our quote request and also because they only quoted us on the work we needed to have done instead of throwing a bunch of extra expenses into the quote for things that really did not need attention or replacing. The crew was very courteous and they started work early each day.They cleaned up the vast majority of debris after the job was done and I only found about a dozen nails and a few small pieces of shingle in the entire yard after they left. Not too bad considering how many got pulled off with the old roof. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and family in the area.

Great.  They arrived on time and went right to work.  They did a great jon.  Problem solved.  It was the second time I had used them, and I will use them again.

They did the job as discussed and arrived early to do it. We were very happy.

The crew arrived as scheduled and got right to work setting up equipment and began removing the old worn out shingles.
 They had to replace more than one hundred twenty feet (120') of rotted lumber at the roof line above the gutters, around the
 chimney and throughout. They applied an ice and water shield on the first three feet of roof above gutter and then used a synthetic roofing underlayment for better protection the remainder instead of felt paper. They installed thirty (30)  year warrantied fiberglass shingles. They installed new chimney and wall flashings, plus new soil pipe flanges. The existing roof vents were inadequate so
they were replaced with new ridge vents. The chimney mortar was in fair shape, with some loose bricks towards the top and  needed repointing through out. Brian did a neat and thorough job on the chimney. Our bathroom fan was never vented properly so they added a bath vent in the roof to take care of that problem.
 With as much dirt a 30 yr. old roof  creates the guys did an excellent job cleaning up the debris on job site.   
     Don,Brian and the crew are hard working, professional and considerate of your property as well as adjoining property. We will in the future hire Tom Kuhn Home Improvements.

They came out 3 on separate occasions and eventually decided to rehang the downspout that was the noise culprit.  Given the multiple trips made and the effort they put forth to use what was already in place (free of charge) this company is not out to make a fast buck.  Quality honest business.  Sure they could have resolved the issue in one trip by replacing every downspout and charging me for it all, but the time they spent coming to the house on 3 separate occasions, only replacing specifically where the problem was, and the minimal $100 they charged reflecting the work performed, was extremely appreciated.
