The Bee Hunter

I called Jim on Sunday night after I discovered a yellow jacket nest the hard way, and he was out first thing Monday morning. He found the exact location of the nest, took care of it, and also sprayed a different wasp nest under an overhang. He was fast, very professional, and even put my lawn mower back in my shed (I left it out after getting stung). I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Jim was totally responsive, professional and punctual. I called at 7:30 am and he was at my house at 10:30 am the same day! He identified the problem--yellow jacket nest UNDER the sidewalk leading to my front door. He suited up and sprayed the nest and took care of the problem. He said that if there was any re-infestation at the same location he would come out again and deal with it for free. The problem was solved, no stinging insects have reappeared. Jim also, at my request, took a look around the back of the house to check if there were any other nests. I highly recommend The Bee Hunter for this type of problem.

After returning home from vacation the last week of July, while working outside, spotted several bees and after inspecting closely, noticed a hole where bees were entering at the corner of my house under the siding. Had tried using some spray from the store which I thought worked but about a week later, they were back and I decided it was time to call in the Bee Hunter. Jim answered when I called around 6 PM on a Wednesday and I explained the situation. He let me know he was all booked up and could come on either Friday or Saturday. Friday came and by late afternoon, I gave him a call just to make sure he hadn't forgotten about me and he said he didn't and said he would be out the next day and we text me later in the evening to give me an approximate time and sure enough I got a text. I then got a text the next morning giving me a better time and even got a text with a better time and then even one more when he was running a few minutes late. Once he got there, he and his assistant looked things over and even came inside to assess the situation and then he told me exactly what he would do and how much it would be which was around where I thought so I said to go ahead. Within 30 minutes, he had sprayed to bring them out and then fogged them inside and let me know to avoid the area for 24 hours and I should see the activity pretty much clear and be totally gone in a week but if I still am seeing them to give him a call. It's now been about 5 hours and I haven't seen any more bees around the area

Jim was incredibly easy to deal with and very professional in how he handles himself and his business. He was responsive to all calls and questions and did not leave anything up in the air. He was forthcoming and honest and did not attempt to guess or assume anything until he saw the issue himself. I will only be using Jim in the future in any problems arise. I was having an issue with what I assumed were honey bees entering my home and nesting in my chimney or exterior wall. I called Jim and explained my issue and he told me that once the weather was appropriate he would schedule a time to come out and assess the issue. About a week or so later, as the weather got warmer, he called to set up an appointment time that worked for me. He called the night before to give me a more exact time and then called the day of about 45 minutes prior to arrival to give me an even more exact time and was even 5 minutes early which I appreciated. He and one of his crew members were polite and professional when meeting them and they immediately got to work and allowed me to tell them what I had seen and show them where my issue was occurring. Within a few minutes he was able to come to the conclusion that I in fact did not have honey bees but mason bees that were relatively more of a nuisance than an issue. He told me how to take care of these on my own and did not attempt to force any service or product to make a sale. He then explained that he does offer a whole home and yard preventative service that includes a warranty for removal if any bees would still nest on my property. He offered to do it the same day or come back later if I wanted to think about it. Ultimately I chose to put that off for now but will not hesitate to call and hire Jim in the future for any bee needs. After he left, I managed to find a dead bee and he offered to assess the bee via picture messages to ensure that it was a mason bee problem. I am more than happy with the service he provided and again, I will solely be using Jim for any future needs. Thank you again!

This man is the ultimate professional. We thought the yellow jackets were under our siding, but Jim came inside and found the nest by feeling the warmth through the ceiling. He opened the windows, cut a hole in the ceiling and they fell out like rushing water and went out the windows. He sealed the hole, cleaned the area and told us it would take a few days for them to be completely gone. The next day I had a question, called and he answered immediately. Not only is he a professional, he is very personable. He uses insecticides are safe for pets. We will have him back in the spring for preventive spraying.

He is fabulous.  We thought they were going under the siding outside and we also had one in the ground and he looked at the siding where they were going in, he came in and he put his hand on the ceiling along the wall and he said there it is, I feel it, the warmth.  And he said I am gonna have to cut a whole in your ceiling, and I said oh no we just had the ceiling repaired last year and re-plastered  so he said we have to get it out of there, they will continue to multiply and eventually they will eat through your ceiling and you don't want them in your house.  So he put down tarps and he cut a hole and he cleared out a huge bag of yellow jacket nests and bees and cleaned up.  He's just such a nice person.  He's just so nice, he was good with the, he played with my dog.  He is extremely professional, he knows exactly what he's doing, he said give it 48 hours you'll still see some around but if they're not gone in 48 hours I have a guarantee, and he signed it and gave it to me.  We've had him before and had the same experience with him.  The price included the nest in the ceiling and it also included the nest in the ground.  He'll do the job.  He'll solve the problem.  I was just impressed he knew it was in the ceiling instead of under the siding.  No, and as soon as he opened it I mean they filled the room.  I know, it was amazing to watch.

We called The Bee Hunter early on Thursday afternoon. He responded that he could come later the same afternoon, and that he would call when he was on his way. He came, examined the area of the problem, and set about to get rid of the pests. He was extremely professional, and at the same time very personable. He suited up, moved things away from the problem area (stashing them neatly nearby), lifted a few deck boards to expose the nest, and treated the area. When finished he replaced the boards, and gave us instructions to stay out of the area for 48 hours, after which we could re-anchor the deck boards (using long screws rather than simply re-nailing them), use the area, and let the cats out.

Jim responded promptly to my phone call. He provided the services needed when he said he would be there and kept me updated the day of service as to his arrival time. Jim was courteous and professional, he explained what he was going to do after assessing the situation

Service was very effective.

Jim suggested calling a smaller local company to "treat" them(even though they arent there) and provide a certification. It should only take a minute or two and he didnt want to have to charge me $300 for a service call. Terminix suggested a $300

Jim was friendly, timely and professional. He observed another nest on the other side of the window and also eradicated that one. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.
