I use them all the time. They're really good. In November 2012, they removed a really old bath tub and installed a new vinyl tub and surround. I would recommend them. They're phenomenal. The person who came was probably the best service person ever. The second time, I had a toilet that wasn't sitting level on the floor and they remedied that. That was probably $300. That was very expensive. They had to pull stuff out of the floor and rebuild things.

Rick was on time, it was a Saturday morning and he was efficient and very kind and patient with my lack of understanding of plumbing.  He was also very informative and I appreciated him explaining what he was doing as he worked.  He also answered questions that I had regarding another plumbing problem and I would not hesitate to have him come again.
Terry was here for a problem over a year ago and I know that I will only call Terry or Rick from Terry's Plumbing for any plumbing problems that may arise. in the future.

Pros:
-The fundamentals seem sound: they fixed the problem, as far as I can tell thus far.
-The plumbers replaced the pipe from the basement into the first floor, and installed a port into the pipe at the same time which I appreciated. After occluding the pipe with debris from the pipe removal, they also snaked the sewer drain.
-they were prompt in returning my calls, and I was easily able to schedule the next day. I got a phone call one hour before the plumbers arrived.
-the plumbers were courteous and helpful in answering questions that I asked.
Cons:
-they were very messy. Because they had to cut into my first floor wall to remove some of the pipe, there was going to be a lot of dust on the first floor. They said they would use dropclothes to mitigate the mess, and then they did not. I tried to cover things as they worked instead.
- Small point but weird: After going through the garage and back door to bring in equipment, they left it open for the remainder of the day- presumably for ventilation. Then, at the end of they day, the specifically said to me, "we've closed up downstairs," but when I went downstairs both the garage and door were wide open. Why say you closed up?
-Obviously, they also walked all over the house in dirty shoes, but that's a normal part of house work.
-the cost was high, and was not explained to me.
-the installed pipes are slightly crooked.

Our incoming water service line was leaking, seeping water into our basement utility room.  Our service line comes in from the street, under our two car garage, and under and up into our utility room.  We initially got an estimate from a plumber that was sent by our home warranty.  This plumber wanted to dig up our utility room to try and find the leak, and if they couldn't find it there, would then replace the line and also said this would not be covered by our home warranty.  We felt uncomfortable with this recommendation and decided to call Terry's Plumbing because they are well known and have a good reputation.
Kathy, their phone scheduler, was friendly and pleasant.  She put Terry on the line and he said he would be out first thing in the morning to look at it.  Terry came as promised on a Saturday morning and reviewed the various options, recommending that the line be replaced.  He said they would use a method in which the "pull" the new line through by attaching it to the old line and pulling it out through the street, rather than having to dig up our entire basement and garage.  He did caution us that it was not without risk, but that they do it often and that it works well.  We agreed to the work.
After a day delay because the water company had to first come and repair the street valve that was found to be not working, Terry's four man crew arrived the next morning and successfully pulled out the old line, putting the new line in place.  We watched them work the whole time and the whole process was quite impressive.  The backhoe operator, Rege, used amazing precision to carefully pull the line out, which was about 75 feet long I'd guess.  The crew spent about 7 hours on site and cleaned up the job site spotlessly when done.
We were so thankful that this procedure worked and that we did not have to dig up inside.  Plus, Terry really spent time with us making sure we understood the options, pros and cons, and generally reassuring us that his team would take care of the problem and not to worry.  He made numerous calls to me throughout the weekend to help coordinate and advise on the water company involvement and logistics that were needed.  In a nutshell these are good people.
I will use Terry for all my plumbing needs without a doubt.

I deal with Bob at Terry's Plumbing who was in charge of our project.  Very nice guy, professional, etc., and he checks in with you daily to see if you had any questions.  Robert was the person who did the entire installation.  He did a great job.  After each day he cleaned up and nothing was out of place.  He worked hard, was very respectful of our home.  He had dropcloths in all the areas he walked.  He was very courteous and does a fantastic job.   If I would want bathroom remodeling in the future, I would want Robert to do the work.  Our shower looks absolutely beautiful.  I would definitelly recommend them.

Terry was very responsive. After the contractor who was building my wall explained the situation to Terry, he came out to assess the situation and then came back on a Saturday morning to discuss the details with my wife and I. None of our downspouts were properly tied in/draining correctly. Some were going uphill to nowhere, while another was just emptying into my neighbor's side yard. Great original construction there, but not shocking, considering all the "surprises" I have found while renovating my house.
Anyway, I was having part of my back hillside cut away and wanted to have a patio and retaining wall installed there. The contractor for that discovered the plumbing issue when he was trying to figure out where to tie in the wall drains.
Terry had a crew come out the next week and start, which was nice, since I had to have the wall crew stop, which threw off their schedule. Terry's crew dug out trenches for new lines that tied all the back downspouts together at one point and then around the house to the front, where an enormous pit was excavated (big enough to fit a car) and then filled in with gravel to handle all of the water drainage. Due to the layout of my lot, that's the only way it could have been done and the guys did a great job. They kept any sort of damage to the landscaping/plants to a minimum and were able to save a tree that was kind of an obstacle for the whole process.
The front two downspouts (as well as a sump pump) were tied into this system as well.
All in all, it was a good experience. Terry was straightforward and very responsive. Anytime I had questions, I just left a message at the office for him to call me and he did exactly that the same day. I think his crew did a good job and there wasn't any nonsense.
I plan to renovate my basement in the future and am considering using Terry's Plumbing for the small bathroom I'd like to put down there.

We have no complaints. Terry came out on his own time over the weekend. Took the time to speak with my wife and I and gave us some information on what needed to be done in our home.

Terry was the 3rd plumber we had out to work on our sewer clog. I explained the work that was attempted and could not be completed. Terry came out that afternoon and did not charge us for not clearing it. They came the next day, found the problem, explained what needed to be done, cleared the line and installed a clearout pipe. They informed us on their progress, did not try to sell us what we did not need and gave us tips on preventative measures.

We called a different plumber before calling Terry's but the other plumber was not able to come out on the same day (we needed them same day, only 1 shower and a family with small kids and it was broken the night before we called).  We called Terry's Plumbing and they came on the same day as we called and they were there and completed the job all within 4 hours of calling.

The customer service person was polite and helpful, the plumber did a good job, and they took credit card as payment.

I was pleased about many things  with this company and overall, this project went very well.  I live in a one bathroom home and the entire project was planned out so that was never without use of the commode.  The main objective of the project was to replace a broken jetted tub with a standard and smaller tub, and to also create more space in the bathroom.  This ended up being a fairly large project because of tiling, plumbing, flooring, cabinetry and  the removal and replacement of a wall.  I am very happy with the result.  The bathroom is beautiful and the objective to create more space without sacrificing quality was accomplished.  I have a smaller bathtub and vanity, but added tons of storage space and still have a great sized sink.
Bob and Robert were great to work with. They are professional, highly skilled, knowledgeable, punctual and Robert treated my home as it it were his own.   Terry's Plumbing is not the contractor that gets into a job and leaves for a day or two to go and squeeze something else in.  Robert started the job and was there every day until it was complete.   So while Bob estimated the work to take about 8 total days, it actually took 12 total.  I didn't mind that at all because as you move through a project like this, things are uncovered that are not anticipated and in the end, I  knew it was all being done right.
I would highly recommend this company.  It was worth the money and peace of mind that nothing was covered up under a floor, left broken behind a wall, or just simply overlooked.  Thank you, Robert, Bob and to Kathy,  the receptionist, for always answering the phone with a pleasant voice, cheerful attitude  to my many calls and always getting Bob on the phone for me:)

Service provider scheduled to come between 8am and noon today.  At 11:57am, a person calls from the office and says "is it OK to send the plumber now?"  Is it OK?  I've been waiting for four hours.  I said, "it's a little late now, it's almost noon."  She said, "oh, I have a few minutes before."  Isn't that almost noon?  Anyway, I said that I had a doctor appointment at 2pm, could the repair be done before then.  She said she could not guarantee when he would arrive or when he would get done.  Really?  I'm just going to sit here a few more hours and wait?  I asked if I would be charged for a call out if a decline to waste more of my day.  She said not if I canceled.  I told her to cancel.  If your time is important to you, call someone else.

Well  called Terry on Friday 1/31/15 and they called me back in minutes I had to go out and so I told them that I would call later to see if they could come out and in a couple of minutes Terry called me back and told me that he was leaving a home a couple streets over from me and he told me he could be there in a couple minutes so I told him ok. Terry showed up I showed him that I had the clog and he went and got his snake machine and he asked me to go and flush my toilet and turn my kitchen faucet on so I did. I told Terry that I had another company coming later that day and he told me to cancel and I said that I will wait and see if he gets it unclogged first before I cancel. so after I flushed the toilet a couple of times Terry asked me if I had canceled that other plumber and I told him no I need to know that my drain in opened he then said that it is opened I said what and he told me that it was opened and he had my hose in the drain with the water running and nothing was coming out and I said do I need new pipes and he said no. I then asked him what do I owe you and he told me $90.00 and I started to cry and I gave him a big hug and I said you don't understand but on Thursday I had Gillece Plumbing or they call themselves Gillece Services they told me that he couldn't get the sewer unclogged and that I needed new lines which would cost me 8,147.50 and I said that they said that they also would have to bring in a big machine to flush my line out as well. I ask him if I needed any of that and he said no I asked him if I wanted my lines flushed out how much would it cost and he told me $300.00. How can a Company deceive you like that how do they sleep at night. So I told Terry that I would be using him for all of my plumbing needs. He not only unclogged my drain but he cleaned everything up and put fresh water down my other drains and my toilet in the basement. Thank You so much Terry for being so Honest with your Customers.
