It did not go well, at all! Mr. Acevedo came to view the kitchen and take measurements. He was not sure how to proceed and set up another meeting so that his contractor could see the kitchen. Acevedo gave us a preliminary estimate of what the job would cost. It seemed to be in our "ballpark" so we continued with discussions. Mr. Acevedo proceeded to put together a design for the kitchen. A couple of weeks or so later, Mr. Acevedo came back with a bid that was twice what we originally were quoted. He apologized and indicated that because he was so far above the original estimate, that he would give us a discount. The discounted price was still far above our original estimate. We totally lost confidence in this organization. We did not trust them to continue with the design or the work. Their inability to price the job left us doubting their expertise. They wasted a lot of our time. We have decided not to proceed with this company and are presently negotiating for the return of the $400 design fee.
