I have used them in the past at a previous home I owned.  They were prompt, professional, knew exactly what to do, and fixed the problem for a reasonable price.  At my new home I contacted them for some small simple plumbing items.  They called and cancelled 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment.  We rescheduled for another date, they never showed up and never called.  I guess my job was too small for them.  They have lost a customer.

Called South Hills Plumbing on 3/13/2012 to inquire of charges for installing a garbage disposal.  I was given a quote and told they could do the work the next day, 3/14/2012.  I received a call the morning of 3/14/12 to confirm.  Tom and Jay arrived promptly, were very courteous and professional.  I was given optional scenarios in the event the disposal I had purchased did not fit.  They started the install, the disposal fit and they were done in less than an hour.  Tom and Jay were also very patient and helpful with questions I asked in additional to the garbage disposal project.  I would definitely recommend South Hills Plumbing and not hesitate to call them for future plumbing needs.

They were exceptionally expensive, and the quality of the work was acceptable, but we would never consider hiring them again.

They did a very nice job. The insurance company chose them so I didn't make that choice but it was a good one. They were efficient and well priced. They had a number of plumbers. They were very good. I have nothing bad to say. If they said they were going to be here, they were here and they were on time but it was a little hard sometimes to get them scheduled. They were busy. I feel that normally if a company is busy, they are hard to get but that means that they are good. We had to also work through the insurance company. The price was reasonable. They worked efficiently once we got them and they didn’t fool around.

I was actually quite pleased - until I received the bill. It seemed a bit high, but note - I am only basing it on the amount of time it took to fix the issue - which was about 20 minutes. The other 10 minutes they spent at my house was firmly chastising me for not cleaning the filters. My lack in doing so, really caused the issue. I was not offended and appreciated the thorough explanations. After the visit, I tried to price these motors on line but could not get a real feel for the cost. The $750 included a service call fee of $70 - which if waived, would have really impressed me. As I know nothing about furnaces, I have to say I was very appreciative with their promptness and ability to accommodate me so quickly. They truly made an effort to explain what they were doing and why. Once again - the 'sticker shock' was the only problem and I could be way off...........

We have used them repeatedly. Usually they are very quick to respond. They are pretty good and their prices are legit. They are also fairly local to where I am.

They have done multiple jobs for us. They are actually close to where we live. When we need a plumber we usually call them. They are fine and their work is fine. Their prices are a little high.

I have them every fall to check the furnace. They have been doing it for years. They installed the furnace, five years ago. It is an efficient furnace. They charge me $90 for the routine checkup. I don’t have a source of comparison for the price, as I have been using them for years. I am pleased with them. They have also done plumbing work for me a long time ago. I chose them because they were close and convenient. They cleaned the furnace and always gave me a report. At one point, they gave me advice regarding the furnace. When my earlier furnace needed to be replaced, they offered me a more energy-efficient furnace. They replaced it for me. I have had a long-term relationship with them. They keep me safe by addressing any problems that may develop. I think they have replaced my air conditioner three years ago. They replaced the blower of the furnace in the first year of usage. It was still under warranty. They didn’t charge me labor on that work. I like them because they have done the work. They are reasonably prompt in coming out. They are competent. They call before they come out. I will use them in the future.

Overall the experience was good. I had one problem. The plumber that did the original work put the dryer vent in front of a Verizon service panel. The service panel door could not be opened because it was hitting the newly installed PVC pipe. I called Fred and told him about the problem, and they came out to fix it 2 days later. I got three estimates for the job, and South Hills Plumbing was the cheapest.

They were very reasonable, showed up on time and did good work. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

They do good job and I have been using them for many years. I rate them high.

Our A/C unit was switching on and off so they came out and filled up with freon. The unit leaked again and we wished they had found that leak on their first visit. They have since replaced the coil and the unit is now working just fine and has had no further problems with it.

They did a very good job. They were here within a couple hours of our call. I asked for them to get us a better tank and they did a really good job. Their price was very reasonable.

called for a service call. was told the technicians would be back at lunch and would call us back. Not return call was received. We called again. They had no record of our message. Poor customer service.

Excellent, professional work. Work area cleaned and left in very satisfactory condition. Furnace performing as advertised. Very satisfied with overall job.

WHILE HE WAS THERE TO UNPLUG THE SINK, HE CREATED A SLOW LEAK. IT CAME THROUGH THE CEILING. HE CAME BACK OUT AND HE SAID "THESE THINGS JUST HAPPEN". I HAD TO HAVE MY WHOLE BATHROOM WALL DRY WALLED, SANDED. HE CAME OUT FOR A WATER HEATER THAT NEEDED A THERMO COUPLE, SPENT 2 HOURS LOOKING FOR PART. I FINALLY FOUND THE PART AT LOWE'S. HE CHARGED ME FOR THE 2 HOURS IT TOOK TO FIND THE PART. HE DID THE WORK SATISFACTORILY. IT WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

THIS IS THE ONLY PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY I WILL CALL. NOT ONLY ARE THEY POLITE AND ON TIME, THEIR WORK IS EXCELLENT.
