Sears employees showed up right on time, and were very pleasant and professional. They got right to work, explained everything, and make quick work of the services. This makes me think that the service is highly overpriced for the time spent, but relative to other estimates Sears was the most competitive. Would definitely use them again.

I have used Sears in the past and was happy so we called and asked for a morning appointment. For the air duct cleaning they did a horrible job. I would not recommend them to anyone. They seemed like they were in such a hurry to get done, regardless of the quality. I called them about the job, and they sent someone out and they didn't redo anything they stated that they did it right the first time.

I called Monday morning and received an estimate over the phone and they were able to schedule me for the service on Wednesday of the same week. Very pleased. On Wednesday the two workers arrived on time and actually waited for me to arrive home after calling me because I wasn't there. The work was done quickly and professionally although they did not cover their shoes or take them off which I thought was strange as they were cleaning my carpets?!? They said the carpet would take 12-24 hours to dry and the furniture 6-12 hours. Approx. 6 hours after the work was done we checked the carpet and it was still very wet. We became concerned as the area rugs were sitting on our hardwood floors and the floors were WET underneath. We ended up having to roll and carry the carpets to our basement to lay out to dry so that there would be no damage to our floors. We were not aware the carpets would be wet thru and feel it should be a part of the service for them to be hung to dry or dried. Nothing was said by the workers which could have led to damage to our wood floors. Very unhappy about this service and felt that experienced workers should have known better. We did call Sears to share our concerns and they apologized and offered a discount on our next service. That is fine but we were hoping to get a discount/refund on this service as we will likely not use them again.

They were supposed to come with a truck-mounted unit, which they said was fantastic and would get out more of the stains. They actually showed up with a portable unit. They didn't do a very good job and we called them back and said we wanted it done with a truck-mounted unit. We got a lot of attitude, but they came back and did an excellent job. It was like pulling teeth to get it done. They came through in the end, but it was hard work. Their price was pretty average. The actual cleaners were great.

It was an absolute disaster! I scheduled an appt. to have my carpets cleaned by Sears and I ball-parked that I would need 6 areas cleaned; figuring I could simply make adjustments if they counted areas slightly different than I counted areas. The person who scheduled my appointment never asked for any details or explained the definition of an area. Anyway, they counted stairwells as an area, so they arrived at 8 areas total. This was fine by me as I understood their policy and it was OK with me. So I asked how much additional it would cost and I would be happy to pay to get it done. Honestly, avoiding having to reschedule and take time off work was worth way more to me than the price. He said an additional $88 to the $150 [6 room special]. Again, while it seemed a little high, I was fine with this and simply said go ahead and get it done. I was at work and had asked my parents to drive about an hour to my house so that I could have this done without taking off work. At that point, the contractor indicated that he did not have time to add the additional two spaces [game-room and downstairs stairwell] and he would need to reschedule for them. He offered to clean 6 rooms [the upstairs], but would not complete the job. This was totally unacceptable to me and extremely frustrating, having made arrangements to have all of my carpets cleaned. Having had my parents drive the whole way to my house; I did not want to reschedule to have the job completed. To complicate matters we are moving into a new house and were having the carprpets cleaned before our move date so time was of the essence. I told them via the phone to leave my house as I did not want a partially completed job. I will reschedule with another company, after the move unfortunately, and I was extremely disappointed in Sears and will never use them again.

"We were very disappointed to see what happened with this member. He has used us 2 times before without any issues. When our technician left the home, we attempted to call to see how we could rectify this situation but he decided to call someone else which is very understandable. We appreciate feedback and can only react when we know there is an issue. Our technicians are to take care of the customer first and foremost and attempt to dissolve any dispute in the home. This was not done in this case and our senior technician at this home now has an official written warning in his file as a result of his behavior here. We have also sent him a future discounted coupon hoping that we have not lost him permanently as a customer. We are only as good as our technicians in the field and sometimes mistakes happen but we always try to correct and learn from our mistakes. We have also posted this issue with our CSR's to make sure that they understand that we are too review all area's cleaned before we proceed to the home. We try to satisfy every customer and we do offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I wish I could say this happens every time but we do make mistakes but more importantly try to learn from them. They were very professional young men who seemed to really enjoy their job. I was especially impressed by their politeness. They did a good job and sucked up a ton of dirt and debris. It seemed like after they left, our air circulation in our house improved and I felt that I could feel the a/c more.

I wished they had come out to do an estimate first. The gal on the phone just wanted the bare bones and was reluctant to take directions to the house. Prices were quoted, but not all the options were given. Another person confirmed the schedule on the day of service. A truck came (40 minutes late), saw the situation and suggested upgrading to a sanitized cleaning. Then they asked for an outside nozzle hookup. Unfortunately our nozzle doesn't work, and besides, I said, we have well water. How much will you need? Thirty to 50 gallons he said. I knew that was not going to work. They called the office to send another truck in the afternoon. It arrived. Still more variations in pricing. They got going, but ran out of water half way through. Luckily we could supply the remainder that was needed (by the jug full). The carpet looks great. The upholstered chairs were OK. The chairs with cushions were left to dry with the cushions on the wood frames. One chair wasn't worth doing.

I would have to rate them very highly. They came in and did a good job. It took them a little longer to dry than I thought it would. They told me not to turn on the furnace because it would make moisture and it would become a sauna in here. I turned on the air conditioner and fans. They told me it would take 24 hours to dry, but it really took 48 hours. Other than that, they were great. My living room was really dirty and they did really well with that too.

I got a whole house special. I have used them a couple of times and we always have them send the same guy out. He does a wonderful job of getting our carpets clean. He is always friendly, courteous, and professional. It never takes long to have them come out.

They do excellent work!! I worked with Joe Faloshi and he was a pleasure. Extremely careful with new furniture, put the styrofoam tabs under all of the furniture. It was a great experience and I will use them all of the time, from now on.
