Santom Upholstery did an excellent job. The selection of fabrics that they had was excellent, and they were very knowledgeable. I had these pieces for over 25 years, and they know look brand new

I was told it would take approximately 2 weeks which was fine. I called on a Monday (13 days) to get the status and Joel told me by the end of the week. My husband was going out of town on Thursday morning and was hoping we could get it by Wednesday so he could fit it in his car. Joel said okay and actually called me on Tuesday afternoon to say it was done. This company is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Slight delay with getting the material in but once they got it they finished it quickly. Enjoyed working with them and would definitely use them again.

Excellent service. Jenny at the store was very helpful & responsive when it came to choosing a fabric and coordinating with the fabric supplier for samples. For an extra charge the company offers pick-up and delivery, which I used -- the movers were very conscientious (removing/donning their shoes in the entryway *every* time they entered/left the house) and the company was very flexible in scheduling pick-up/delivery times. Reupholstering itself was excellent, I am very satisfied with the job

There are so many books and patterns, and the owner and his son were very helpful and patient in helping me pick something out in my price range, color and pattern. Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them.

The two gentlemen showed up on time and moved the couch into the room it needed to go in. They attempted to move it in the room without taking it apart first, and they did it....in 10 minutes. I cannot speak highly enough about the service that was provided. They did the job in 10 minutes and charged me $450 less than what was originally quoted to us. I HIGHLY recommend Santom. The two men were on time, very professional and friendly, and great to deal with.

My poor winged back chair and ottoman were destroyed over the years by puppies that we fostered.  I looked around the Pgh area and got quotes from different businesses to get the chair and ottoman reupholstered.  I went onto Angie's List and found Santom Upholstery and Refinishing.  Since they had an "A" rating, I called them, sent them a picture, and they got back with me very quickly with a quote.  The service and quality was impeccable, price was great, and the final product was absolutely beautiful.  I highly recommend them, and will be sending other pieces of furniture their way.

Santom Upholstery did an outstanding job of reupholstering our 17-year old wingback recliner.  Jennifer was extremely pleasant to deal with and very professional and friendly.  They also had an extensive fabric selection.  They were prompt on pick-up and delivery.  The chair looks better than when originally purchased.  We are very pleased and would use them again for any future reupholster needs.

I would/will use this provider again. I needed two badly stained and marked coffee tables refinished and re-stained. It could have been a little cheaper and it took a week or two longer than I expected but the work done was in one word "perfect".  This person's work must be well known because he seems to have a lot of customers who will pay for quality. If it's a good piece of furniture you need worked on and want it done right this is your guy. Friendly staff too.

It was great! From the initial explanation of the work they were going to perform, to the accuracy of the estimates before the work was done, to the pick up and delivery - - everything went great.  The work the Santom team really extended the useful life of our living room set.  A huge money saver compared to buying new furniture.  It really feels like we are sitting on firm new furniture.

They sent someone to my house within 2 hours to pick up the chair once I called them.  Their service was fast and the quality was great.  They delivered the chair back to me on the date they estimated and the price was what they quoted.

Right from the first phone call, they were great.  Very friendly, lots of details.  They picked up and delivered both pieces and that took place exactly as scheduled.  The guys who did the pick up/delivery were great.  Very nice, very professional.  I went into the shop a couple of times to pick out fabric.  They took time to discuss what I wanted to have done, and made good suggestions on better ways to do the work.  Both pieces had tufted backs and nail head trim.  The finished pieces are just beautiful. So well done.  I could not be more happy.  I would HIGHLY recommend them based on the final product, the price and because everyone was so nice and great to work with.

They are very friendly and its a family owned. I think they do a really good job. They repair some of my cushions stuff and couch because we have our dogs that ate some of it. They are really good in repairing. We also have an old antique chairs probably re-upholstered cushion.

I called Santom Upholstery to get information pertaining to the replacement of plastic on my four dining room chairs.  The company representative, Jennifer, was outstanding!  She provided detailed  information and answered all questions thoroughly. She also demonstrated a great sense of humor which was truly refreshing.  She arranged for my chair cushions to be picked up from my house.  After my cushions were evaluated by the technicians, Jennifer called to report the results.  In addition to the new plastic coverings, my chair cushions needed new webbing, new foam, and new upholstery.  I was provided with an estimated price for the repairs, which I felt was reasonable.  Approximately 5 days later, Jennifer called to scheule a delivery of my repaired cushions.  The results were outstanding because my old cushions looked newly purchased!  Additionally, I was impressed by the expertise, friendliness, and professionalism exhibited by the installer, Joel.  In a few months, I plan to hire Santom Upholstery again to refinish my four dining room chairs.  Based on the results of my chair cushions, I am confident that my four chairs will aso look newly purchased.

This is the second time we used them.  I called for service because we had a broken support board in our sectional sofa.  They picked it up the next day and repaired it that day.  They returned it later that afternoon.  Fantastic service!  They explained everything to me and were very nice.  It was a rainy day and they were very careful not to get the sofa wet.  I would highly recommend them.

I was referred to this company by Jeff at Fibrenew Three Rivers. I called the company and Jennifer LeViere talked with me over the phone. She was nice, asked me to send them photos and they will get back to me. So I did. I haven't heard from them for a couple of days, so I called again to follow up. Jennifer told me that they will give me a quote soon. My first contact with them was on 11/7 and I never from them again.
I will not use their service in the future.

I had a hard time finding the shop since the address given on this website was not accurate. Once I found it, the entire process was very easy.

Very nice people.  Pleasant, competent interactions, both when we brought the chairs and cushion  in and in picking it up.  Work delivered in time.

Did a search on Angie's List after my husband noticed that the back of our sectional that we purchased at the (now defunct) Roomful Express was falling apart. Called Santom and spoke to an actual person (instead of an answering machine). They immediately were able to schedule an in home repair later in the week. The owner came out and fixed the falling down piece of Styrofoam in the back of the couch and sewed the ripped seam back together. It looks as good as new. I also found the price to be reasonable. Very pleased with their service and would use Santom again in the future.
