I decided not to use this company. They gave me 3 choice of granite, but none of them really worked for us. It didn't fit with our vision for our project. The Big Deal only applied to the 3 choices that they showed us. However, the lady we spoke with was very patient and helpful. We emailed back and forth during the decision-making process. The man who came out to measure was very knowledgeable, too.

They came out about two months ago. They installed two counter tops in two kitchens. It cost a thousand dollars. The job was good! They were reasonably priced similar to the competition. They showed up on time. They did a nice job as far as the finished work, cutting and caulking the back splash. I would grade them an 'A' overall. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

I was extremely pleased with this company.  I purchased countertops out of a granite that they offered on sale on their website.  Because I do not live near Pittsburgh, they were nice enough to send me a sample of the granite before I decided to purchase it.  They gave me an approximate cost for the new countertops over the phone, then gave me the exact price after they came to take measurements.  The service person who came to take the measurements was exactly on time, seemed polite and professional, answered my questions and gave some good suggestions.  The installers were also exactly on time, completed the work in 3-4 hours, did an excellent job (the countertops are lovely) and were also very polite and professional.  The cost for these countertops was substantially less than the cost that had been quoted to me by several other vendors.  I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Overall the folks at Quality Granite were nice to work with and their fabrication and installation costs were attractive. That said however they did not actually Template the job as we understood the process. That is they only came and recorded rough measurements of the area. They did not actually build templates. This led to problems with the fit of the tops when installed. Our home is not new construction. It is an older home with plaster walls. There are very few square corners and precisely plumb walls. The tops were fabricated to square, so that there are uneven gaps along the walls, and noticeably uneven overhangs over the outer edges of the cabinets. The counters themselves are pretty, but the uneven fit takes away from the overall look. Also, the installers installed our new undercount sink. After they left we found 2 problems with the installation. First they only used 5 of the 8 brackets provided by and recommended by the manufacturer (Moen) for installation. Second, when they drilled the holes in the top for installation of the faucets onsite, one of the holes was directly above (and therefore blocked by) one of the underlying sink brackets. We could not install our faucets until my husband relocated the sink bracket. Up until actual installation we were happy with our experience. But the shortcutting of the templating process and the inAttention to detail in installing the sink were very disappointing. We will not be using Quality Granite again, and unfortunately I cannot therefore recommend them.

I got three bids from granite shops for a countertop that I needed to install in my rental property.  Quality was by far the cheapest and gave some great options for reasonably cost granites.  I've noticed that some of the larger granite shops will charge and arm and a leg for granite, so it was nice using someone that was reasonable.  The Company was nice to deal with and did a great job with the installation.  It was a pretty big countertop too, so it was nice that it went smoothly.  I will definitely use this company again for my next property.

Poor quality..Terrible installation. Highly visible seam.  The seam was rough...Left side higher than right side.  Two different edges on the countertop...one beveled ..one round edge.  There was a scratch with a rub mark on a section..as if they put a compound on the scratch and attempted to rub it out.   The glue was visible inside the seam and sink.  There was a 1/2 inch space btn countertop and slide in stove.  I contacted KCFO of Murrysville since they placed the initial order. They told me this company was good. I trusted them.  I shouldn't have.  KCFO contacted Missy at Quality Granite.  Missy was very nice and tried to work with us.  She said someone would be out to fix the issues and not to worry....They will guarantee the product and installation.   The technician that came out was the same one that put the countertop in. He was abrupt.. rude...and in a hurry.  He stated "It's acceptable"  I said it was not and asked why they delivered a scratched countertop and he said it was man made and they made the scratch.. but it was fine. He said he wouldn't fix anything and said we could have a full refund.  As he left he said "call KCFO ..Can I leave now?"  He was very rude. A week later they sent two technicians out  to remove the countertop.  They were very nice and professional.   They saw the scratch and shook their heads. They saw the glue.. the mismatched edges and asked if I spoke with someone. I don't think they could believe it either.  I'm thankful to Missy for trying to correct the issue and I did get my full refund. Missy was honest and helpful.

We went to the show room and basically the girl couldnt speak english very well.  I asked for her suggestions and she couldn't give me any.
We agreed on the price and they sent a crew of 2 men.  They were nice but they got there late and literally didn't leave till midnight!!  It was to big of a job for 2 men.  The first bathroom they cut the holes wrong for the faucets to instead of using the old faucets I had to buy new ones.  they took the price of the new faucet off the bill.
The last bathroom they pointed out the sink didn't fit cause the hole was to big.  They kept saying the sink was smaller then the other 5 I had purchased.  I ran out and bought 2 more sinks and non fit.  they installed it and left.  I had to call the office and long story short and after 4 weeks going back and forth I have mediocre bathroom counters.  The edges are chipped and they didnt clean up their caulking mess they left all over everything.
Frankly I just got tired of dealing with them and settled for sub par work

The project went well.  We were able to do quoting and scheduling via email.  We visited site to pick out slab but ended up going with granite that we took a photo of and forwarded to Jade.  The installation all went as scheduled.

I had an appt for 2:00 pm. They called in the middle of the week and changed it to 3:00pm. They never showed up until almost 5:00. I had to keep calling the store to find out where they were. I told her that I should have been notified that they were running behind in their other jobs. Once they finally got there, they lifted up one of the counters and put a gouge in my oak drawer. The one guy was upset, the older one just waived it off as if it was no big deal. I called the company back again and told them I wanted compensated for the drawer and my time. I sent a picture of the drawer and they took $100 off of my costs. They also gave me the cutting board for free. (the edges were to be polished for $50). When they brought the largest piece in, the shop had incorrectly put a bullnose edge on the side that faces the refrigerator so the countertop didn't fit. I called them back again and told them about it, they compensated me for the amt of granite that had to be removed to make it fit. Fortunately they could remove the edge on site, unfortunately they had to do it in my garage as it was raining. They made somewhat of an attempt to sweep the granite dust off of one side of the garage, but my garage was a disaster, with so much dust in my boots, shoes, gardening supplies, gears of our bikes, tools, etc. They did a great job getting it to fit. When they were drilling the holes for faucet, they left the box cutter on the counter and it fell off with the vibration blade first into my laminate floor.  I did not get compensated for that. They tried to give me the cutting board without the polished edges. I told him they were to be polished and he said he wasn't going to do it. I had to get my husband to make him do it.  I am pretty sure that these poor guys were so exhausted from having to fix all of the mistakes that were made at the shop, that they were making errors at my house. There is definitely a communication gap, at least for our order, but seeing how long it took them to install, and fix the mistakes on our kitchen, and ours was a small project relatively speaking, I can only imagine that is what put them behind to arrive at our house so late. They finally left my house at 7:30. It was not a pleasant experience at all, especially for the amount of money spent on this. The end result is very beautiful, except I cannot get my off of the gouge in my drawer.

Excellent service throughout the process.  Got the Angie's list discount with no problem.  Were able to save money by selecting from remnant slabs for smaller counters in bathrooms.  Very friendly.  No frills.  Quotes were accurate.  Estimator came to our house for final measurements and obviously did a good job, because everything went together extremely well at installation.  Inside sales person was really working hard to make sure we had a good installation and called andsent pictures of slabs before fabrication to make sure we were OK.  Installation went very well and workmanship exceeded by expectations.  It looks great, and I loved donig business with this company - they seemed focused on doing a good job, not talking fast and pushing for high dollars.

The put two different pieces together and they don't match, there is a huge difference and it looks awful.  They keep saying it came from one contentious slab and there is no way, it changes right at the seem, its looks like knight and day.
Response from Quality Granite Outlet
"Hello [member name removed], I am very sorry that you are unhappy with your basement counter tops. I specifically asked KCFO, whom you bought your counter tops through, if you wanted to pick you own slab and they stated that you did not. The Key West Gold is made with different characteristics throughout the slab. The way your kitchen is set up and how we had to cut the slab may make it seem like it is 2 different colors/slabs but it definitely is not. I really apologize about this inconvenience. At this time, we have an appointment set up for one of our guys to come out to take a look at your granite counter top to see if there is anything we can do. I am also in the process of getting you a picture of the whole slab from Mont granite, where the slab originally came from, so that you can see what the slab looked like before we cut it. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any further concerns. I will contact you after your appointment with us. Thank you, Missy Boak 412-434-8900"

They where very easy to reach. They had the fastest turn around from everyone that I looked into. The countertops where installed and they look great. The workers that came to install didn't speak the best English, however they managed. I would recommend them and use them again because of the foundations and price. However that are not the most advanced as they measure by hand. Also I would be around when they install the countertops, I caught one of the workers getting ready to hear up his food in our brand new microwaves.

We originally believed we would only be able to afford laminate counter tops for our kitchen remodel. We started to price granite for peace of mind, and couldn't believe how comparable the price is for granite. We worked with Jade through the entire process. Missy is the main contact noted for the company, but we worked with Jade since the first day we walked in for a "rough estimate." Whey they came out to do the template for the work order and final estimate, there was only a $100 difference in price. We were very pleased and relieved by this. The work was scheduled to be completed on less than two weeks. Jade actually contacted us and offered to have the work completed a week earlier when an appointment became available. The two gentlemen who did the install were very prompt, organized, and did not leave any mess when the work was complete. Install took less than two hours. They were so quiet and efficient, it was easy to forget they were in the house! We noticed a patch/chip in a back splash piece when the crew left, and my husband called the following day to address this. They came back out to replace the piece within three days, and the work took approximately 30 minutes at no charge to us.  We had some questions regarding the install that Jade was not able to answer before we signed the contact, but the employees who did the install were very knowledgeable, especially regarding mounting the dishwasher and routing cabinet space so the sink would fit. The work was very clean and professionally done. We did not experience any problems with a language barrier. We actually quoted identical granite at K&S, which is down the street. The man there had said a few bad things about Quality Granite. That rubbed me the wrong way, because I feel that is not the right way to do business. In addition, K&S was about $500 more. I did my on research on the issues in question and read all the great Angie's List reviews for Quality Granite (K&S had only one "C" review at the time.) We didn't select Quality Granite simply because they were the best price. We selected them because we thought we were getting the best value and service. We are very pleased with our experience. We LOVE our new counter tops!!!

We were doing some renovation in our kitchen including replacing our countertops. We are very very pleased with Quality Granite Outlet. Overall experience from the beginning to the end was great. We are so happy with our new granite countertop. It looks great in our kitchen. They are very professional. The installers are extremely careful and knowledge. We picked a granite that is called Giallo Fiorito. It goes perfect with our cherry cabinets. We highly recommend this company. Definitely we will hire them again in the future.

The seal on our undermount sink was coming loose and the sink was in danger of falling.  We called Quality Granite Outlet and they sent someone out within the next couple of days to repair it.  The contractor was very professional and took care of the sealing quickly.  The price they charged was extremely reasonable.  We have not had any issues since.  We would definitely work with them again for any kitchen counter needs.

They were fine.  Their price was number one.  There was a little bit of a problem and it took a little bit of work to get them to fix it.  They finally did and I just had to be persistent.  Their price was the third last than any other price that I received.  I'm going to be using them again and I have already gotten the prices.  I think can work with them to get what I want and save some money in the process.

It all went fairly smoothly, except where the old cooktop area countertop was side nailed into a taller cabinet.  When the old section of countertop was removed, it left visible damage to the wood on the side of the taller cabinet.  Quality Granite personnel were able to make additional side splashes out of remaining material to cover both sides (the original design did not have side splashes on that section of countertop).   These were made onsite and did not delay completion of the job.

The arrived when they said they would, finished on schedule, and cleaned up when they left.

The final result was excellent and undoubtedly helped sell our house.
