PAWLAK PLUMBING INC

Pawlak Plumbing responded promptly to our request to install a new garbage disposal after our old one died. The work was fine and the new unit works as expected. The problem was that when the bill arrived, we had been charged $150 for the Insinkerator Badger 5 unit that they installed. I had seen this unit priced below $100 at several retailers, both local and online, so I found this to be a HUGE mark-up. I had no problem with the $95 they charged for labor. When I spoke with someone at the company, I was told that this reflected the price that they paid from their plumbing supplier plus a 15% mark-up. So the question is whether Pawlak Plumbing is being ripped-off by their supplier or whether they are not being honest about the price. And while it is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, I don't think it speaks well to their integrity as a company, and I will no longer use or recommend them.

I did not go with them because a friend of a friend did it. They came right away and gave me an estimate. Their estimate did not include like the toilet, sink, and shower. I was going to provide those things. They were going to install it and they were going to do all the other work, but I think I was going to supply the other materials. They were very good because sometimes you call people and they do not call you back. They were one of better on price. We use them for all our plumbing. We use them all the time.

They were very prompt, professional, and courteous. I would highly recommend them. They even mentioned there was a coupon for their services on angieslist and to be sure that I did not forget to send that in with the payment.

Very responsive with setting up and appointment. Did not have to LVM-phone answered by owner of the company. Service within 48 hours of my call. Employees were a little late getting to my home(30 minutes) but did have the courtesy to call and let me know they were running late. I own a very old house with very old pipes. The work was efficient and they did not leave a mess. We discussed the eventually need to renovate this old bathroom with old leaky pipes, but there was no pressure involved or scare tactics. Just facts and good information. I have used many plumbers in the past and it is obvious they do not like working on old homes or they were pushy and intimidating....I did not get that feeling from Pawlak plumbers. I felt they were honest and sincere and will be calling them to set up an appointment for a bathroom remodel estimate!

I am very well satisfied with them and will continue using them in future.

They came when promised, arrived on time, did all the work. Refilled the hole with asphalt. Work is good, but the asphalt is sinking. I've not complained about it, nor given them a call to ask for a repair of it, so I'm not sure if they would do that or not. I've had no issues with the sewer backing up in heavy rains since installation.

They came promptly and looked at the water heater. They determined that it was leaking and had to be replaced. The job was completed in about 1 hour.

everything went great. The guys were friendly and knew just what to do. I could not have been happier. I live in Cincinnati and Tim went out of his way to coordinate times to save me extra trips to Pittsburgh. The pricing was very fair.

It was still dripping , so they came back out one week later still in july 2014 & the spout was replaced again.This was spout #3. He said it could have been a bad diverter. I asked him what brand was it he said he couldn't remember. I told him I saw the price on the box when they were installing it , approx. $10.00. Then he said it maybe was "plumbers choice". All in all I was not pleased !! The original tub spout lasted aprox. 18 years. I replaced one myself & it lasted 6 years. But pawlak replaced three in less than 1 year & 2 of them happened 1 week apart !! I explained my discontent but all he could say is that we must have missused or misshandled the spout !! I was offended & angry !

He came early and was extremely conscientious of the cleanup. He was also quick. They send the bill in the mail, so the only thing that I don't know is the cost. I hope I am not disappointed!

I was retiling our shower wall and asked Pawlak Plumbing to convert the plumbing from a hot and cold handle configuration to a single handle, install new drain and replace old drum drain with updated Ptrap plumbing. They worked great with our schedule and handled a late cancellation due to a death in the family wonderfully in rescheduling the job in a very timely manner! The two employees came on time and did a very satisfying and professional job and answered all questions I had. They did quick work and offered advice on trimming the final work after it complete the tiling. Thank you Pawlak Plumbing as I will be using them for future work. Their price was also very appropriate as we had received several estimates which were highly over priced compared to Pawlak's!!!

Pawlak Plumbing came in, the guys were very nice. My husband was here when they came, and apparently, we have a six year old home and the garbage disposal was never put in correctly, they came in and put another pipe in and fixed it. The only thing I will say about them is they sent two guys out which I'm not really sure that we needed to pay for two guys. The next time, I will not pay for two guys, just to have somebody go from the house to the truck to get the things that the other guy needed. Other than that, they came in, took care of it and we haven't had any problem. I didn't really deal with them, my husband did but he seem to be happy with them. We didn't think the price was crazy. My husband was asking questions, they were talking to him about what has gone wrong and how they're going to fix it.

I found out what I needed to know at the expected price.

These fellows arrived on time, were professional, courteous (they covered their shoes with booties), and efficient. They had all of the necessary parts with them and within in 30 minutes the work had been completed. This is the third time that I've used Pawlak Plumbing.

the team (2) were prompt, courteous, friendly, explaining some of the work as it progressed and surprised me somewhat with how quickly they finished. Well worth the charge.

We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of service from Pawlak Plumbing! This is the third job they have done for us, and they are consistently excellent. They are knowledgeable, skilled, polite, professional, reasonably priced, prompt, and helpful in every way. We've never had problems with anything they have repaired. We would recommend them and plan to call them first for all of our plumbing needs.

Two service men arrived and quickly started the job. One worked on upstairs bathroom while the other worked in the kitchen. They were both professional and courteous. They completed the job quickly & cleaned up well. My husband and I were very satisfied with the work and price. We will definitely use Pawlak Plumbing for any future plumbing issues. Also the company was very responsive to my call.

We continued to play phone tag. I was not able to talk to a live person after several attempts. I went with another plumbing provider that I was able to connect with.

They were great. They showed up on time. I would recommend them again.

I would have loved to use Pawlak Plumbing for this job because of their knowledge and professionalism. They were able to answer all questions I had and were very helpful. I did end up going with another plumber to do the work because the price was slightly lower but I will definitely keep Pawlak Plumbing in mind if I need other work done. I couldn't have been happier with their timely response, professionalism, and knowledge.

Did the job in good time, no problems.

Called, two men came as scheduled. Put booties on their shoes without being asked. Fixed the sink drain. While one was doing that the other looked and cleaned a water line for the ice maker which I had asked about while they were here. They were here and gone with everything going very well--no mess, no drama, very professional and efficient.

He was very nice and extremely professional. The technicians were very nice and Tim was very pleasant as well. The price was fair and I will continue to use them in the future.
