All seemed well until I finished my project, reinstalled the sink and turned on the tap. Water rained down again. This caused more damage to the ceiling, cracks and a large bubble in the plaster. I called Tim to report this and asked if he'd take responsibility. He would only agree to send someone out again to assess the problem. He sent out the same two men. They tested from the bathtub, the toilet and when they tested from the sink water rained down (more damage.) Because of the new bathroom floor, they cut a large L shaped hole in the living room ceiling. They found the elbow joint from the new pipe to the toilet had a large hole in it and replaced it. They admitted that they didn't test from the sink drain the first time. Tim expects me to pay for the first two visits (estimate and replacing pipes that were not damaged) and will not agree to pay for the repair of my living room ceiling. He is not charging for the visit where his employees did replace the damaged joint.

Besides $100 for the replacement kit, we paid $295.51 for Pawlak's 1st visit and were invoiced $283.49 for the 2nd. On the 1st visit they installed shut off valves for the shower (we figured that solution ourselves) and, based on the schematics which clearly showed 1/2" and 3/4" sizes, recommended the 1/2" kit for purchase. On the 2nd visit, with schematics in hand, Pawlak's plumber not only failed again to see the mistake but tried to make the wrong kit fit and still left us with a leaking shower; now with an exposed lever...and a dislocated tub faucet, rendering the shower unusable. In addition, a driveway sensor light was run over by their van during the first visit, shutting the entire right side off; on the 2nd visit, the plumber helped himself to towels *in our hamper* to clean up his job! We threw them away. Towels are tools of the trade professionals should have. They're responsive until we e-mailed complaining about the work; we also left messages: they've simply ignored us.

The work was good and price was reasonable.

They provided the toilet. The toilet was a higher quality than what I probably would have picked out. I'm satisfied with what they did. I have dogs. Even though my dogs were outside, the guy that came the second time complained about my dogs. I didn't need him to be on me about my dogs. It was unpleasant.

Great experience - returned phone call quickly and was ready to set a date/time. I had to reschedule, but they were very accommodating. Called 15 minutes before they were going to arrive. Plumbers were friendly and had a great personality. Worked on sink drain (snake) for along time, but they were professional and cleaned up the mess when they were finished. Other plumber (two came) worked on bathtub faucet while one snaked the drain. Both jobs completed in under an hour. It has been two weeks and everything is working just fine! Also - no bill on departure - this is a plus and minus since I didn't know how much it would cost, but they also weren't breathing down my neck for payment. Bill arrived - pleasantly surprised at how little the cost for two plumbers was! Very pleased and will definitely call Pawlak again for future plumbing needs.

Tim provided an estimate and committed to a date. His guys showed up on time and worked steady. They knew what they were doing. They came back the next day for the gas company inspection and finish up.

They arrived on time and did an excellent job. From start to finish the plumber explained what he was going to do and only completed work after I had agreed to having it done. They were very professional and also helpful (as I always have to ask a lot of questions). The toilet is now properly sealed to the floor with proper working insides and no leaks.

Contacted Pawlak plumbing based on Angie's List reviews. Spoke with owner, Tim, who came out the next day to give an estimate for a dishwasher installation (we needed electrical and plumbing work and a cabinet removed). Rec'd estimate of $600 for 6 hours of work. Scheduled install a few weeks later after we had gotten in all the parts we needed (had to order things on-line). Scheduled install for Monday starting between 9 and 10:30 am. By noon that day the installer had not shown up, called Pawlak plumbing earlier in the AM to inquire about when install would begin and finally spoke with Tim around 12:30 pm. I was told that the installer had some personal issues to attend to but that he was eating lunch in the area near my home and would be there by 1:15-1:30, I explained that this was too late and rescheduled. I decided to get some addt'l estimates and had the job done for $200 less. I would have been more understanding if the installer had called to tell me he would be 3 hours late.

They were here on time, when they said they would be. I was watching him do the work, they were very thorough. He also explained a lot of things to me and how often I need to do things.

Job 1: Mr Pawlak provided an accurate estimate before work was performed. Employee, Jason, showed up at appointed time,and performed the repairs in a competent and professional manner. Would definitely use this company again. Job 2: Excellent. Next day response after service call made, with work being performed efficiently and courteously. Repair cost considered to be quite reasonable.

They showed up on time, evaluated the issue quickly, were friendly, professional and efficient. Great service. Answered any questions I had. Highly recommended.

The plumber was very professional. He ran into some huge problem - a job they thought would take 2.5 hours took 8. I have an old house and that's why there were some problems-nothing he did.

I like them. They are a little pricey but they did a great job. I like that they planned out the job before they did it and went off of that. They were very reliable and prompt on getting the job done quickly.

Pawlak Plumbing did an outstanding job. It was an emergency situation and they came immediately; that is what I went with them. I would absolutely use them again. They found the problem on the first try and solved it quickly.

The project was completed in three stages due to the findings. The ultimate outcome was successful and necessary. Great care was given to minimize damage to the yard and flower beds.

They explained everything they were doing and did a great job. They were very professional and I would use them again.

The nice thing about them is they came out right after I called them and they do great work. The bad thing is they don't do emergency work so I have to find someone else if I need it done. They are extremely professional and reliable though.

I have used them on several occasions. I was always very pleased with their response because they got back to me right away when I called with any concerns and the workmen welcomed my questions. I don't remember on top of my head how much they charged me, but it was in the range of $100, it seemed pretty reasonable.

They are very professional and the same plumbers come out each time. They are nice people who know what they are doing. Though I don't recall their exact price on the last visit, I do remember shopping around for quotes and they were the best.

As this was done close to a year ago now I don t remember what the exact price was, but I do remember it as being very reasonable. The man who came to do this job was polite, very professional, and the work was done right the first time. I can easily say I recommend this contractor and will definitely use them again.

A friend highly recommended Pawlak Company, who had recently done some work for him. I looked on my Angie's List and he was also on her list with high recommendations. Tim Pawlak provided me with a fair estimate. The work was done on schedule and I am well satisfied with his punctuality and the work done.

We had a leak in our connection between our gas line and the cook-top. We checked the line with soap/water and it seemed to be ok, but when we opened the cabinet below the cook-top we could still smell gas. Pawlak plumbing came out and found that the valve/seal connecting the cook-top to the line wasn't tight enough so they checked over all of the connections and ensured there were no other leaks. Since they charge for 1 hour and the guy was finished in 20 minutes, he asked if there was anything else he could look at while he was here. I thought that was very nice, he could have just run out of here when he was done.
