My schedule makes it difficult for me to call & schedule appointments like this, but Mike's assistant was very proactive in calling me back & working with my schedule, which I appreciate. He was able to do the job within a week or so of when I called, too.

They worked fast & finished in a few days.

After we had agreed upon a date and time, Mike and his assistant arrived and completed the work promptly on
both occasions. The first visit they painted and did patchwork on the foundation on the front of my house, installed a new window air conditioner and a lock on my downstairs bathroom door. On the second visit, Mike installed a dimmer switch in the dining room and his assistant hung pictures and blinds in two bedrooms. Mike and his staff did good work and were personable and professional. Mike was very patient and polite throughout the whole process..from the intial consultation to completion of the job. A few months earlier, we had McClelland Home Maintenance build and install large storage cabinets for us and Mike and his helper did a wonderful job. I am already compiling my list of other handymen items that need done and I will not hesitate to call McClelland Home Maintenance to do the work. Excellent people and excellent work!

I called Mike about the work we wanted done and left a message for him. He returned my call in a couple of days. We set a date for the following week for him to come by and evaluate the work. Mike arrived on the agreed to date and at the specified time. We talked about what we wanted done (two ceiling fans installed, a new electrical wall switch, and a broken step repaired. Mike took some measurements and said he would get back to me in a couple of days with an estimate. It took Mike about a week to get us the estimate. Mike said he would build a support box that he would attach to the ceiling joists and then attach the ceiling fans to the bottom of the support box through the drop ceiling panel. We agreed to a price. Mike said he would have to coordinate his schedule with another person he works with and would call me to set a date for the work. Mike said the date would be within the next two weeks and will only take one day to complete. This was fine as we were not in a great hurry. Mike called me and we set a date. Mike and his assistant arrived on the agreed date and at the agreed time. They began work on the first fan and the electrical switch right away. They placed drop cloths around to catch any dirt. While Mike was finishing the installation of the first celing fan, his assistant was preparing the support box for the second fan. As Mike was installing the second fan, the assitant repaired the broken step. Mike was very diligent about making sure the ceiling fans were securely attached. He even, after having the second fan almost completely installed; took it apart to reinforce the counting to the support box. Mike and his assistant removed all debris and vacuumed the work areas.
