It went GREAT! I have a small bathroom in an 100 year old house. This was the first big job we've done. I had visions of what I wanted and Anthony guided me through the process to make it happen. Anthony's ultimate goal was to make to me happy with the final product. Anthony and his team are meticulous in their work and he wants everything PERFECT! The attention to detail in the custom subway tile is amazing and we now have a custom, functional, beautiful bathroom. Another other thing I'd like to mention is character. Remodel fell during our family vacation time and I had NO problem with Anthony and his team being in our house while we were away. And finally, I have an almost 80 year old father who is a retired contractor. Anthony and his team were patient and respectful, even though I KNOW my dad delayed their progress at first. Needless to say my dad stopped coming by b/c he knew he no longer needed to supervise! Thanks again Anthony!

Estimate Request: I sent the request and 2 hours later I received a call from Anthony to schedule an appointment which was within 5 days. Work: Anthony and his team was professional and courtesy throughout the job. Anthony wanted to know “are you happy, do you have any concerns or issues” during the whole job. He build a custom solution for ours stairs and door when the our plan wasn’t feasible. Cost: We got a quality job/ solution for a great price. I would recommend for you to use Anthony McCann because I definitely will be all upcoming work. Thanks Anthony Great Job !!

Very well. Anthony and his workers were on time and finished a day early. They were always prompt in arriving when they said they would.

Everything was done quickly, efficiently and with detail to the quality of the work. All jobs were finished within 2 weeks of signing the contract which I thought was wonderful considering how much painting (walls, trim work and all sub floors) that had to be completed.  I do not hesitate to recommend Anthony; he does the majority of the work himself which means the quality is there.  He is responsive to phone calls and texts and checks in frequently to assure your happiness. He met my needs for everything I was looking for in a contractor.  His prices were reasonable and I feel I got excellent quality for my money.

Anthony repaired a hole in the kitchen ceiling and did a fantastic job. If I did not know the location, I doubt I would be able to pick out the patched area. 

The house painting that was completed by one of Anthony's contracted assistants is outstanding!  Great attention to detail, clean lines, perfect coverage.  Anthony stopped by almost everyday to be sure the paint job was progressing and that I was happy with the job - he was very attentive with checking my reaction to all the work.  I also had the subfloors painted with a primer to lock out odors since we are getting all new flooring.  Anthony researched with Sherwin Williams to find the best product for the job.  He knew that I was concerned about the strong paint fume odors because of my pets.  The primer he settled on and supplied did the job wonderfully and it did not have the terrible odor that I was concerned about. A+ Anthony on taking my concerns into account - some contractors would not have worried about it, but Anthony listened to what I said and worked to find the correct solution.

He installed new closet doors in my spare bedroom which involved cutting the doors to make them fit and work properly in my old house where all the openings are custom-sized.  The doors look wonderful and most importantly open and close the way a door should (old closet doors would not work properly).  Again, Anthony took the time to make sure the job was done correctly.

He also patched some broken ceramic floor tiles in my basement laundry room area that had been installed poorly originally.  It was a tough project as they had to fit in with the tiles that were already there - he did a fantastic job.

Anthony also replaced some receptacles, replaced a piece of roof trim and installed a pet door for me.

I recommend Anthony and I am very pleased that I found him on Angie's List and called.  I will most certainly use him for future remodeling jobs at my house.  EXCELLENT WORK ANTHONY, THANK YOU!!

Everything went as planned. The end result turned out even better than expected. The materials used were a significant upgrade over our previous deck. Anthony had a couple great ideas after we started the job that really helped deliver the results we were looking for. Overall, Anthony has very good attention to detail and only wants you to be 100% satisfied with the end results.

The project went well!  They started with the basement which was a total gut job. They removed all of the old wood paneling, ceiling tiles, lighting, and flooring.  It was replaced with new drywall, baseboards, electrical, window trim, doors, lighting, paint, and a nice built in home theater center.  They even hid my speaker wires in the ceiling for my home theater system!
We had a vacation planned, so we decided that while we were out of the house, it would be a good time for them to start on the kitchen floor.  So they removed the base cabinets, appliances, wall paper, and removed the 3 layers of old tile flooring down to the sub floor. They even replaced damaged sections of sub flooring with new sub flooring.  
When we got back from our week long vacation, they had the kitchen tile installed per the design that I e-mailed to them while on vacation. The following week they grouted and reinstalled the appliances along with installing the back splash tile. They moved two ceiling electrical boxes, and hung new fixtures They also installed two additional cabinets that we purchased from IKEA.
Overall my experience with McCann home improvements was great. They were easy to work with and worked around my families schedule.  They even kept my internet service running (located in the basement) while demoing the basement. 
We have a bathroom to renovate and McCann home improvements will be the first one I call.

Excellent workmanship!  The work as performed on time with a high degree of professionalism.  Prompt response to my initial call and was on the schedule within days of estimate.  I was working on short timeframe and the contractor accommodated all of my needs.  Contractor worked with me to select the appropriate tile and installation method best suited for my conditions.  There unique features in the tile work - all were nicely handled.  Love the final product!  It has been transformational to the room.  I will be a repeat customer on a future bathroom remodel. Highly recommend.

I met with Anthony to review the estimate for my deck.  I had already received two estimates from other companies, and I thought I was going to have to repair my deck on my own.  Anthony gave me an estimate that was not only in my budget, but stated that his crew could have the job completed very quickly.    Two weeks later, my deck was complete.   Not only is my deck built to specification, but Anthony surpassed my vision and built a deck that is sturdy.  Not only did he replace the deck, but it feels as though I have a brand new deck.    His workers are amazing and the detail, time and craftsmanship were something that I thought didn't exist anymore.   I will definitely use McCann Home Improvements again, and am already planning an looking forward to my next project.

Anthony called right back after I left a msg. advising him that I had purchased tile and was ready for install.  He started the very next day and fininshed that same week.  He installed the tile per my request in an altered  pattern which looks beautiful.  I am extremely happy with the end result.  His price was excellent and I do plan on using him again in the future for other work..

This was a huge project, but the outcome was spectacular.  The investment in the renovations done by Anthony will add at least 2 times the cost to the value of my home.  You won't find anyone in Pittsburgh that will do better tile work than Anthony.  In fact, I had a contractor who is a home builder come in to give me an estimate on my roof, and when he saw my bathroom, asked me who did the file work -- he was very impressed.

Call Anthony and he respoinded and gave me an estimate. Stopped by the next day to go over details. Started work 2 days
later. Was on time and removed the old woodwork, window, etc. and installed new drywall. Also removed wall paper from
1 wall and prepped other walls. Skim coated walls where needed and removed kitchen floor. Came back on Sat and Sunday
to go over small areas that were skim coated to make sure the were drying properly and recoated if needed. Iinstalled floor
all baseboard and trim as needed. Painted the next 2 days and completed the job on schedule. Anthony would call each
day to let us know he was on the way or when he would be there. Also, made some suggestions which were great and we
agreed to. Cleaned up each day and removed all old material. He was very professional and personable. Did a great job
and I will be having him come back in the srping to do other work in the house.
