Everything went well

We had a total of 3 visits from JRB to service our daughter's split ductless unit up in our attic. After the first visit they said we needed to get the whole thing cleaned. The 2nd visit they came and cleaned the unit, but declared it didn't really help so now they would have to do another service call and during that visit would have to be on the line with Fujitsu to run a full diagnostics on our unit. After that 3rd visit they informed us that Fujitsu recommended we just replace the unit. JRB then quoted us for $5700 to replace our unit after we already spent $1200 on our previous 3 service calls. My husband and I said we would talk it over and get back to them. Thankfully we were able to get our original HVAC person out to our house today, after spending only 5 minutes at our house he told us our unit looked like it had been tampered with and all our freon was empty in the unit. Our original HVAC guy then filled the unit up with freon and it now works completely fine, charging us nothing because he felt bad about how ripped off we were from JRB. We spent $1200 to do basically nothing.

We have worked with Jeff for years. He has previously installed full furnaces and air conditioners, and two prior mini-splits at our house. He just used him again to install a third mini-split. As always, he was responsive and easy to work with. His crew are very polite and professional. They work very cleanly, leaving no dirt at all in my daughter's room after installing the mini-split. They balanced the needs of the equipment well with our desire to conceal any lines as much as possible. I would absolutely work with Jeff again.

Everything was checked on the furnace and everything looked fine. After changing the batteries in the thermostat everything began to function as normal. SMH

Jesse thoroughly checked out my furnace, trying to find the cause of the banging noise I would occasionally hear. He fully answered all questions and even gave me info on the workings of my A/C unit, too. Although he couldn't find the problem, it wasn't for a lack of trying. He performed the most thorough check of the 3 companies I out for service. JRB will be getting a call to give my A/C the once over before I use it. Highly recommended.

This company is one of the best I've worked with since moving to Pittsburgh 5 years ago. Their response time is amazingly fast and the come when they say they are coming. After getting several quotes from a couple different companies, JRB had the best prices and quality. I have already recommended them to friends. I will be having JRB do all of our furnace and AC maintenance from now on.

We knew when we bought our new house we knew the furnace was old, but weren't expecting it to go on our closing day! I had an appointment scheduled with JRB for the following week to inspect the units, and when I called panicked they got a crew out there the following day to replace the furnace, and then came back to do the AC and vent work. A+ quality and really grateful for the urgency they showed in my situation.
