Have used multiple times. Shows up on time, performs work in a timely manner, overall positive experience and I plan to use them every year for furnace tune ups.

The job went well. However, due to the high water pressure in my area, I had to contact a plumber to do some work before they could actually get the boiler working. Once that was completed, they returned promptly and finished the job.

Very smoothly. I will use JRB in the future for both my furnace and AC.

The furnace was placed on January 10th in a back room that I never go to. On February 12th, I went to that back room and found that there was water everywhere all over the furnace and on the floor. I immediately called JRB Heating as I thought it was the furnace. They responded that day and stated to turn the furnace off and they would be there in the morning. That morning the guys came out and told me that it was not the furnace, but my water pipe. This pipe is right next to where they put the furnace in. They checked the furnace out and said that it was okay, but told me I needed to call a plumber. I immediately said to them I've been here all these years why all of a sudden would that pipe burst and they said they didn't know. I had to pay an additional $125 for a plumber to come out to tell me that the piping was bumped. He said if it was the pipe itself (due to the age of it) it would have been the whole pipe, but it wasn't so he concluded that the pipe was bumped during the installation of the furnace. I called JRB Heating back and the owner returned my call. He said he usually doesn't do this and did not want to take responsibility for the pipe, but decided to give me $60 back for the cost of the plumber. He also said being that I don't go back there that I didn't know how long the water was running. Today, I received my water bill. It was 4 times the amount that it usually is, which concludes that that water had been running shortly after the installation of that furnace. Due to that fact and the fact that they did not want to take responsibility, I will not be recommending this company or using this company for further services (except for covered services). As I have incurred more out-of-pocket expenses than I expected or could afford.

It was a pretty good quote. He was very good, I didn’t know that that was available and he pointed it out. That was really appreciated. It worked out very well. I choose to go with them, because of the interaction with that serviceman. He was very professional, pointed that out to me, which that is really a great thing for me and my situation. He was responsive to me and that is why I would go with them today.

The inspector was prompt, polite, and helpful. He gave me a lot of useful information about the furnace and overall system. He changed our filters for an additional fee (which he was totally up front and clear about), and made some suggestions about how we can optimize our heating and humidifying in the house. We will definitely hire JRB Heating again.

Excellent. Instead of pressuring us to buy a new unit, they provided us with a reasonably priced repair option.

They arrived within the scheduled time frame. They were nice and respectful. I observed the service which entailed using a small brush and a small shop vac to remove dust from my furnace. They used a digital thermometer to check the temperature of the air exiting the vents, they listened to see if the furnace was making odd sounds, they checked the filter but did not change, they took down some numbers and applied a service sticker with their contact information. Not a complex service call but somehow I thought it would be a more rigorous safety inspection; but I guess, if its not broke, don't fix it. The 2 employees were at my home for about 20 minutes. Very much preventive inspection and I'm glad there was nothing wrong.

It went fine. They were able to put us on the schedule quickly. And came and did the work pretty quickly. It was a pretty normal experience.

Terribly. When I tried to schedule, they couldn't accommodate my schedule. They said Saturday hours were not available to Angie's List customers which was not explained anywhere on the AL site. I work during the week so I need a Sat. appt. In trying to find a time during the week, they said they couldn't accommodate a Monday appt. because they have big jobs starting on Mondays. When we finally agreed to a time, a Wednesday morning, the technician never showed. In scheduling the appt., I told the representative that I was talking to that I needed an early morning appt. because I would have to go into work late and she said that she would include that in the request. I also had to request 3 weeks in advance to increase my chances of getting the early appt., but in the end, it was all a biggg waste of time and time off from work. I got the distinct feeling that I was considered a second class customer because of the discounted price thru Angie's List. Adding insult to injury, I canceled the order and asked for a refund of my money and she said that I had to request that from AL. In calling AL to get the refund, they told me that because it was past 30 days since I purchased the deal (the reason it was past 30 days is that I had to schedule 3 weeks in advance), they couldn't refund my money, which I protested and the AL rep said that she would submit a special request to refund my money, however, it's not guaranteed. At this time, I am waiting to hear from AL on the status of my refund.

The team was extremely professional. They removed my very old furnace without difficulty, working around an old boiler. The concentric kit for the new air intake/exhaust was installed in one block of a nearby glass block window and mortared in place. Couldn't have gone better.

I just had them check it out because it wasn't working before, but an electrician came by and looked at it and said that it was due to a misplaced wire, that the panel had gone bad and they didn't do the correct job to replace the wire as it was supposed to be. So the air conditioning wasn't hooked up. He pointed that out and my neighbor came over with another breaker and hooked it up property. So, I just wanted to have them check it out once to see that everything was working fine and they did that and I was satisfied with that purchase. They were very knowledgeable and respectful and they did the job on time and it was done correctly. They looked at it and said it was okay and it was. They answered all my questions. They were a little late.

Jeff came to clean my boiler. He was very courteous, informative, and quick! He had some great information on some other heating concerns I have and took the time to do a thorough job. Really appreciate it. Definitely would recommend this company and will use them again.

I have used JRB Heating and Cooling once or twice before, and each time the technician has been professional and helpful, answering any questions that I had.
