The installers arrived on-time and carefully explained the work to be done. The total installation took a little less than eight hours. Afterwards they reviewed the work and answered all questions and provided options for future maintenance on the unit with no pressure to purchase them. They were professional in every way.

He showed up on time; performed inspection of furnace; explained what he had done; installed a part (I had purchased previously) for a humidifier at no cost. I was impressed by him and subsequently signed up for annual maintenance agreement.

This was an additional fee. Overall, they were fine! They seemed very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information to consider as far as future repairs or installments. They were helpful.

The technicians worked on the AC for about 10 minutes. They were not thorough and tried to sell us a more expensive service agreement that promised a more in depth check up.

Very happy with the inspection. Technician was professional, courteous and on time.

He called about 45 minutes before he was going to get there. I left work and met him at my home. He was very polite and punctual. The service took about 20-30 minutes. As I said, it was a "air conditioning check up." I would purchase this service again. I think it was $49.

Everything went fine. They inspected and tested and cleaned air conditioner. Everything done was explained to me in full. I have used tis company in the past and have nothing but high praise for them. I will certainly use them again

They did a good job with the cleaning and the price was good, too. I didn't see them do the tune-up, but the unit has held up fine since then. There were no issues with scheduling and they were right on time. They were also very professional.

It was ok. It's been a while so I don't remember much.

I Scheduled appt. with JRB Heating and Cooling for the time window between 12and4 on 7/3. I took a day of work that day and around 515, he hadn't shown up yet. I called and left a voice mail, and also emailed, as to why they haven't showed up or called yet. I got a call back from Jeff saying they were busy, but could be here by 630. Then 630 became 730. Ithis Jeff called at 730, as I was concerned about someone coming that late, and to how he could see later, in the dark. And I was also concerned about safety issues as well, but I work so many varied hours, I had no choice then to have him come out. It had been excruciatingly humid and hot up to that day-I was desperate. So, he finally showed up after 930 pm. He checked the unit, and said he would get me an estimate by the following Monday-7/7/14. I have not heard anything from Jeff, or anyone else, from JRB Heating and Cooling yet and this is 10 days past. How does this business have good ratings on Angie's list, which people like me count on to be reliable? I could of had this fixed or a new unit by now. I feel so cheated, by giving this company the benefit of the doubt, (that maybe he was busy), but this is ridiculously poor business practice, time management and unprofessional. L. Miller

The technician, Jeff performed the service and explained the results after he was done. They also came in the fall to check out my furnace. I would recommend them for either service.

The service man was very professional and punctual. He was very polite throughout his time at my home. Regarding the Nest installation, initially he stated he would be unable to install Nest because of wiring that he wasn't used to and that he needed another colleague to be able to run a new wire. However, he later stated that he was able to install the thermostat using our existing wiring because he talked with one of his colleagues and looked on the Nest "Pro" website (?). We do have one error message coming up on the Nest (code N29) that I explored on the Nest website. This code is related to the C-wire and the humidifier. I do NOT know if the humidifier is being controlled by Nest at this point (since it's summer), so I will be dealing with that issue at a later time. I called the service man after he left because the error showed almost immediately after he left the driveway. He said someone from the office would look into it and call back later that day or the next day. The call never came. Regarding the A/C inspection and tune-up, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the work on this front. Based on the generally stellar reviews, I expected a competent service man to come to my home and service our equipment. At first glance, inspection and tune-up seemed perfectly fine. The service man even looked briefly at a separate issue I was having with some of our duct work. The duct work was beyond the scope of this first call, so I was planning to have JRB come back and aid with this other issue. However, because of the error code on the Nest and because I never received a call back as promised, I decided to go with another company. I had this other company come to our home 1 week after the JRB visit. Imagine my surprise and general disgust with JRB when the service professional for the other company told me that my A/C unit is not working correctly. He knew this just because he touched a single refrigerant line near our furnace that was much hotter than expected. He was there to troubleshoot the problem I was having with my duct work - the problem that he was able to fix 100% in less than 10 minutes. This issue with our A/C unit was incidentally detected. He then spend the next 3 hours adequately servicing my A/C unit. The A/C unit condenser coil was filthy, the readings were way off on the refrigerant pressure/temperature gauges (or whatever they are called), and we needed an additional 1 lb of refrigerant added to our system. I immediately noticed the forced air coming out of our vents was cooler and the refrigerant line that was "overheated" near our furnace had cooled significantly. In any event, maybe it was just a poor serviceman from JRB and that this is not representative of the whole company. I don't know and I'll never know because JRB will never be setting foot in my home again. We just moved into this home a few weeks ago. Call J.A. Sauer. You won't be disappointed.

Before I could schedule the appointment, our 14 year old air conditioner broke down completely. JRB was kind enough to allow us to switch the certificate to another property. They made a confirmation phone call this morning, and arrived on time. Jake did a thorough job and everything checked out fine.

They said that they would call me back with an estimate for a heating and cooling system for the house, but they never followed up with me. However, they were on time for the deal and the guy who came out seemed nice.

First, I was not contacted to make an appointment. I was sent an email saying to call to make an appointment. I had to call three times before finally getting a person on the phone. Their next available appointment was not until 7/14. I don't consider that good service.

I purchased a Big Deal, and when they came out, they said the service I paid for is not what I actually needed. I appreciate them telling me there was money I didn't need to spend, and I appreciate they were upfront in that regard.

Our AC wasn't working. Had the AC inspected, was a simple fix.

We had some work done on the house not long after, installing radiant floor heat. The company that did that also looked at the furnace and said one of the nozzles had to be replaced (wasn't working). That should have been caught in the inspection. I guess we got what we paid for.

Good experience. Showed up on time and got the job done without any issue, and the furnace ran fine all winter. Will have them back again this fall.

I felt that they were just getting their foot in the door with this service and then trying to upsell other services.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they showed up when they said they would.

It was extremely hot when the unit froze up. They were very busy, however able to come the next day and replace the refrigerant.

He did a good job. Came on time and did whatever was agreed upon. He also explained what he was doing and patiently answered my questions.
