My air conditioner had been leaking water onto my furnace. I scheduled Angie's List Deal for a $55 A/C Tune-Up and Inspection. When they came out they found that the cause of the water leak was a plugged up pipe that they repaired. Now it the AC works great! The worker was very helpful with suggestions about AC care.

JRB was very accommodating and fit me in on short notice. The technician that performed the service was very professional and on time.

They were very accommodating to my schedule. Called prior to coming and were punctual. Very polite. Quick. Explained what was needed and why - very pleased. I will be continuing service with them in the future.

It was a pleasure working with Jeff from JRB Heating and Cooling. Upon learning that our boiler was not working, we had three separate heating/cooling firms come out to the property to assess the situation and provide suggestions as to the proper course of action. All three indicated that we needed a new boiler installed. Our decision to choose Jeff/JRB was the result of three factors 1) Price, 2) Speed, and 3) Communications. First, JRB's quote was by and far the lowest among the three providers, an important factor given the hardware (new boiler) and scope of work was generally the same for all three. Second, Jeff/JRB was prompt in both scheduling our initial maintenance call and ultimately scheduling the installation with our tenant. Third, we live out of town, but Jeff was highly responsive and prompt in his communications via email, phone, and text. He also took it upon himself to directly communicate/coordinate with our tenant which was very helpful to us. Also of note, we received feedback from our tenant that Jeff was a pleasure to work with and, equally important, the new system is functioning smoothly. We look forward to having Jeff back on an annual basis to complete maintenance/checkups of the new boiler.

I bought the $55 furnace checkup package through Angie's List though I made an error and mistakenly ordered two. Angie's List quickly corrected the problem by issuing me a refund and the service provider set up an appointment for 10-27. The technician arrived as scheduled (he called to alert me of his arrival time) and professionally went about his business. He was finished in about 25 minutes and went over everything he had checked. Will look to use them again next spring for the air conditioning check up as well as any future heating/AC needs.

The guys who came to the house were very knowledgable, professional and thourough and explained everything they did. They were prompt and they cleaned up after themselves. They provided information to me on getting a service contract but there was no high pressure to do so. I plan to have them come back in the spring for my central air.

It went fantastic was on time for appointment...clean and check out furnace which didn't take long at all. Was very friendly and answer any questions we had. I would definitely use them agin.

They were very thorough, explained all the tests run, and did not try to sell us anything extra. Overall a good experience which will influence my choice of companies when it is time to replace the unit.

I was really pleased. Bought the $3999 deal through Angie's List. I then received an Email as to the phone number to call to set up an appointment with Jeff. Jeff arrived and appraised the size of the house, size of furnace and air conditioner, what else would be needed, and if gas, wiring, and venting was up to current Code Standards. My Old furnace was the original (63 years old). Jeff then outlined some upgrade options I might be interested in, such as a two-stage furnace or a 2 inch Filter, rather than the standard 1 inch filter. He informed me of the advantages and disadvantages of each option, and told me he would work up an estimate of what each option would cost. Jeff made no attempt to "hard sell" any of the upgrades (which I really appreciated). He would also provide me an estimate of any extra costs which would be required (such as the additional ductwork, condensation filter pump, filter rack, and bringing my wiring up to code). Jeff sent me the estimates the next day. I then called Jeff and I declined the upgrades, and set up an installation appointment. Jeff and his helper arrived at 8:00 a.m. with the first job being the removal of the old furnace. It was a 63 year old Cast Iron furnace which was installed when the house was built. It almost appeared that the house was finished after the furnace was installed in the basement. since Jeff had to cut this monster up in order to get it out of the basement! That, and the fact that the old furnace had to weigh 800 to 900 pounds! Jeff and his helper came back the next day also and completed everything but the new ductwork and the venting. When the new ductwork was finished a few days later, Jake and a helper arrived and finished the job. I am thoroughly pleased with this company and would highly recommend them.

There was a lot of phone tag back and forth to get a hold of this provider. However at one point, a gentleman from the company called to help schedule and he was extremely polite and courteous. Unfortunately I just cant wait until the end of November to have this work done.

We had to play a bit of phone tag initially to get the service scheduled due to the high volumes they are experiencing as a result of their current deal. This was understandable and they were incredibly apologetic. They did a great job explaining everything on the phone and our inspection was scheduled for 8 days after we purchased the deal. Jake arrived within the 3 hour window we were given, and was incredibly friendly and thorough. He walked us through everything that he had done before leaving. Thank you!!!

They were unable to service my area. The price of the deal was good, I was just unable to get the service.

Arrived on time after calling... friendly, efficient. This was our third annual inspection with this company, and we have been happy every time.

The service was ok. I had to call multiple times to get the service scheduled and they didn’t know I purchased the pre-paid deal. They showed up within the time window they provided me. However, they were not here very long.

Jake from JRB performed all of the inspections as outlined in the purchased Angies Deal. As to punctuality, when the JRB dispatcher thought that the technician may not be able to make the agreed-upon 4 hour service window, he called to advise of an unforeseen circumstance. He followed up later in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they were still able to make the visit that day... just 30 minutes later than anticipated. Good service and great price.

I had no specific issues except the one problem I had was not diagnosed nor was there a suggestion on solving the problem of the high speed blower cycles

We had purchased the AC tuneup when the AC did not seem to be working well. By the time I scheduled the appointment the AC was not working. Jake had tuned up our Heater in the fall and he also showed up to service the air conditioner. He was efficient and determined that the fan that serviced the heater and AC was broken. We have an old unit, so they found a replacement fan that worked in our unit and came out the next day to install it.

Called and left a message - Jeff called back VERY quickly and he said he'd try to get me in today. A service tech called an hour or so later and said he was 30 minutes away. Very quick service. Repair tech arrived and was friendly and professional. Diagnosed the problem in about 20 minutes and replaced a thingamajig (??) that was causing the a/c unit not to function properly. Tech explained the problem and the reason why things weren't working correctly. Had the part on his truck and made the final repair in about 20 minutes - total time on job less than one hour! Service was great...not sure the price was great...seemed a little expensive, but then again, air is back on and the repair was made the same day I called. May use the company again. Rated everything excellent, except the price.

There were no problems with service. Technician was friendly and professional.
