The experience was very good.  They were prompt and they did a nice job.  They did what they said they would and I have no complaints. They also did not make any mess.   They did some gutter repairs.  They were thorough and professional; they got the job done in a timely manner and I had no problems with them.  The workers were professional, polite and very knowledgeable.

I had one company that was on your list, and if you might ask me who, I'm not going to remember right now. They charge me $90 to do gutter work. I pay upfront and they were to do like a section and they never showed up. And, I called them, and called them, and called them and they wouldn't answer the phone. They are on your list and in fact I had put in a note at that time that they had not showed up yet. Like the time span had not run out at that point, but it certainly has since then and they never showed up and the only time he answered the phone was when I left a message and I said, "I couldn't believe it I had more work to do". He answered back and then when I reminded him he was pretty sly and hiding from me. And, then he said, "Oh yeah, I'll be up tomorrow". And, he never showed up.

JP May Construction called in the beginning and he said, "We're still getting to work for next month or something". And, he is going to get back to me and let me know when they are going to do it. And then he never got back, so I called him. And then they started. I would wait a couple of weeks and call again and wait a couple of weeks and call and then he just would never come back and finally the time for it expired. And, I figured, he wouldn't be coming back then. At this point would be, the time ran out and, garbage like that. And, a lot of time he wouldn't answer the phone, he had the machine that answered the phone, and I guess there is someone that said who you were and he knew that that was one of the people that had this gutter work he wasn't interested.

We were contacted within a reasonable amount of time and told that unless we were having a problem they didn't want to go on the roof until the weather broke.   We were told to call them back if we had a current roof issue or they would call back to schedule when the weather broke.  We weren't having an issue at the time and had purchased the deal for preventative maintenance.  We felt that waiting was perfectly reasonable.  We were never contacted again and when we tried to call the voicemail was full and no longer receiving messages.  There was also no response to attempted email contact to either receive service or a refund.

I purchased a deal for $99 for 50' of gutter guard but after calling twice with no reply I called a third time and he was on a rough and asked me to email him my number, which I did and a month later no call back. I was going to email and call again, but I realized that the ratings for JP May were sliding and he was blowing off a lot of people. As such, I just decided to have the $99 refunded to me.

I tried multiple times to contact JP May. Spoke to JP May once. He said he was on a job and could not take my information. He told me to call back and leave a message. I called several times. Left messages, etc., but never got a call back to schedule service. Very disappointed.

I have left numerous phone messages and sent several emails, but he has not responded to me. I purchased this in May and it is now September. He has stolen $600 from me, and I would like resolution.

Only response from J.P. May Construction and Remodeling came in response to my purchase of two Big Deal Coupons.  An email response I received the day of purchase said, "Thank you for purchasing the ... Big Deal. I will contact you to set up a time and day to look at your project Thank You, James P. May JP May Construction and Remodeling."  I waited and was never contacted by James May.  I began emailing and each week, received no response.  My last attempt to reach the service provider was yesterday via phone.  Still no communication from him. Today I contacted Angie's List and submited a request for a refund.  This was a complete frustration, waste of time and tied up my money.
