As someone else wrote, Jim is my plumber for life. He's a total professional who responds promptly and courteously, takes pride in his work, and his intelligence and humor make working with him a pleasure. I don't look any further than Iron Dog when I need plumbing done.

Jim was FANTASTIC. He is an absolute PROFESSIONAL. He did a great job, did not rush it, and was superb. He noticed that the new model had a different plug, but came up with a professional work around and did not charge me extra for this. His advice was superb, and he seemed really HONEST and HARD WORKING. 

I would recommend Jim very highly to anyone. He's just great.

All in all, it went very well. Jim is very nice. He is pricey, but he did a very good job. His responsiveness was good. If I can find someone cheaper, I would probably use them. It was like $16000 which was expensive. That’s a lot of money for plumbing, but I would call him back.

My kitchen sink drain disconnected from the drainpipe the morning of my daughter's graduation party. He came out that day and repaired it for a resonable price.

I originally called Jim to bid a full house renovation. He was prompt and courteous. He was able to review the plans and walk me through the project. He was able to "design" the project and make suggestions during our first meeting. He was also able to discuss cost, something that most plumbers avoid until the written proposal. Iron Dog's price is in the mid-range (his bid was the 2nd lowest of 4) and if you consider what you get for the price, it's the best value in PGH. Jim and his crew work quickly, efficiently, and neatly. What sets Jim apart? Jim's a highly intelligent guy with a good sense of humor. He sincerely cares about what he's doing. He's easy to work with. What else can I say?

They showed up on time, they told me they were feeding into the sewer. I did the work myself. They did the dye test and reported to the bureau.

They are great to work with! It looks beautiful. They are very honest with high quality work.

The water pressure in our house was very low when we purchased the building. We called Jim upon the recommendation of some of our new neighbors. He responded quickly to our call, came over to the house and inspected our plumbing system. The water main heading into our house was over a hundred years old, made of lead, and Jim recommended replacing it both to increase our water volume, and for health purposes. Jim has his own digging equipment and is well-equipped to handle the job we requested of him, and he completed the job within two days. Since this work was completed, our water volume has been much improved. As an aside, Jim's also a very pleasant guy to have around, with a droll sense of humor. We've used him for subsequent projects, and been very pleased all around.
