Description of Work: I have always had a good experience at my Home depot store in east liberty. I only live mins away and I am doing some upgrades in my home. Home depot always have everything I need. All the employee's are always very helpful. I will recommend the east liberty store to everyone.

For the record: the order was cancelled in its entirety on the recommendation of the installer. The Home Depot sales person clearly did not have a clue about the products he was selling, and simply said what was necessary to complete the sale: "sure the unit has side mounts, all do these days" and "don't worry about the installation checklist, I have to check "yes" so the computer will accept it" [paraphrased in each case] As a side note, the installation people reported many problems with this Home Depot branch (they were angry since they get paid by the installation, not by the hour). They directed me to the Monroeville Home Depot which, I am told, is more professional. This report should not be seen to reflect on the installation subcontractor, they were quite professional, and took the time to explain all issues exactly.
Description of Work: Purchased dishwasher to be delivered and installed. Specifically informed salesperson that a "side mount" was required, due to the presence of stone countertops. Salesman showed me a floor model with side mounts and assured me that all models come with side mounts. During ordering, he went through a checklist, claiming that all entries need to be marked "yes" in order for installation to be completed. I was again assured that this was a formality, and that he always simply marked "yes" so that installation order would be accepted. Again, I was misled. When the unit arrived (second delivery attempt - the unit was "damaged on the truck" the first time) I was informed by the very professional installation fellow that he could not install the unit, and that I would have to reschedule after hiring a plumber. I said to just leave the unit. Upon inspection of the unit it was found to have no side mount capability. Additionally, it was badly damaged.

THEY WERE MEANT TO DELIVER A NEW MACHINE TWICE, BUT BOTH TIMES ( WITHIN THREE WEEKS) THEY CALLED AND COULD NOT DELIVER BECAUSE THE MACHINE WAS DAMAGED ON THE TRIP. THE DELIVERY GUYS HIT A DEER ON THE FIRST DELIVERY TRIP. THEY WERE TWO SEPARATE MACHINES, MAKES YOU WONDER, RIGHT? I AM STILL WAITING ON A REFUND FOR MY EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM HOME DEPOT. FINALLY, I RECEIVED THE REFUND FROM LG, AND I TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. DO NOT EXPECT SERVICE FROM LG.
Description of Work: Purchased a new LG dishwasher in October from Home Depot, and it began leaking in November. I called the company, who warranted the product. They were going to send me a new machine, but they threw my case out because they had registered their part with a repair service, who never contacted me. I got a new case after LLG and Superior Electric mixed up the process of sending out the part. I went back to Home Depot, who I bought a new machine from Home Depot while waiting for LG to send me a refund.

INSTALLER HAD THREE DAYS TO CALL AFTER I MADE THE ARRANGEMENTS, HE CALLED THE AFTERNOON OF THE THIRD DAY. I STILL HAD NOT HEARD FROM HOME DEPOT WITH HIS SITE INSPECTION REPORT A WEEK LATER. I CALLED, AND THEY LOCATED IT THAT DAY. A WEEK LATER, THE INSTALLER HAD STILL NOT CALLED TO SET UP AN INSTALLATION DATE. HE DID SO AS SOON AS I CONTACTED HOME DEPOT TO COMPLAIN, THEN CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. THE INSTALLATION IS OK, BUT NEW WOOD IN DOOR FRAME IS UNPAINTED AND SMELLS BAD, AND THE INSTALLER SPENT A FAIR AMOUNT OF TIME ON THE PHONE AND DIDN'T CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF. THE PEOPLE AT HOME DEPOT WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE INSTALLER AND HOME DEPOT'S COMMUNICATION WITH HIM.
