"(Removed Member name), Thank you for the response and apologize for the confusion on the big deal. It states there may be a service charge for residents outside of our initial service area. You location is further than 15 miles and we do have a 30.00 service fee for that. In addition the Big Deal should have included that it is for wall to wall carpeting. It does say it is for Truck Mount Steam Carpet Cleaning and defines what an area is referred to. We can not clean area rugs and oriental rugs in the big deal as we have provided a deal relative to the masses of people. There is a different process in cleaning of the area/oriental rugs than there is in cleaning wall to wall carpeting. We have made exceptions as explained to accomodate those who had area rugs and did them provided there was an area to clean them. We always have the best interest of our clients in mind and protecting their carpet and valuables is at the top of the list. Due to the fact that you have hardwood throughout there is no where to clean the area rugs without a pick up and delivery service which we do not do. In addition if you clean them in place it is a liability for future problems with the hardwood underneath with moisture being entrapped and also delamination of the backing of the carpet without proper drying. Sometimes in the summer months we have completed the rugs by cleaning them on a clean driveway or garage floor. We are sorry for your dissapointment but please know our interest is your best interest."

"Member, We appreciate your business. As a courtesy we were permitting you to use your big deal from Angie's List that is for an occupied residential home as a credit toward your vacant property. We clearly state in the deal the deal is for an occupied home. The reason is we have offered the deal as a deal to earn people's business and potentially retain them as customers. We honored your deal because we are not in business to irritate people who may have purchased the deal and did not clearly identify or understand the terms. The terms that were communicated when we honored your deal was you would receive the full retail value of the coupon you purchased of 369.00 worth of services for the price you paid at $199.00. In addition there would be extra charges if the cleaners exceeded the total alotted time of 10 hours including a total hour of travel leaving 9 full hours of cleaning. You actually received 5 hours by three ladies which is priced at a retail price for a total of 15 hours of service without any travel. The Typical additional hours would be billed at 35.00 per hour. Therefore we performed 5 additional hours at 35.00 which was $175.00 in billable time. The reason we set the deal and terms the way they are outlined on the Angie's list big deal is to eliminate confusion. Our staff on site also included our cleaning supervisor that suggested some of the same. We take great pride in delivering a high level of quality service to our clientelle. Our staff is trained to clean from the highest point in the room to the lowest which would be a vacuuming of all carpeted services as outlined in the deal and every service we do to rid any residual dust and debri. Vacant properties require different services than occupied ones. There are additional labor hours required in order to clean inside cabinets, bath cabinets, appliances, etc.. We have tried to work with you on the additional costs and have submitted an invoice totaling a discounted rate of 3 additional hours and a 30.00 fee for inside of refridgerator based upon the detail lists of items you prepared. As a courtesy we waived an additional hour labor for any confusion. We appreciate your time and feedback and used your comments as vaulable feedback to make sure we reconsider accepting an occupied residential coupon for a vacant home. It will help us in the future to communicate why we typically do not do that."
