Description of Work: Mice were reported in the kitchen at a rental property we own. I emailed Sam on a weekend reporting the occurence. Sam promptly responded to my email, even offering to come immediately (which I indicated was not necessary. He later came to the house within days, working with the tenants to gain entry. He investigated, set traps, and inspected the traps/removed mice. The problem was qiuckly resolved.

Description of Work: Saw a rat in breakfaast room. Called company. Sam Creager came about three hours after call. Inspected kitchen, breakfast room, and basement. Found droppings only in basement and found where rat came in -- hole was plugged. Set traps. Made two visits, called, and came third time to remove rat. Was kind, friendly, and cordial.

Description of Work: I called because I had noticed some wood dust near the furnace. Mr. Creeger quickly determined that that was not a pest issue, but represented the remains from some construction prior to my buying the house. Since that took about three minutes, I asked him if he would look around the house for a consulting fee and tell me about any vulnerabilities, in terms of pests, I might have. He agreed, found and exterminated a wasp next, found two pieces of rotten trim he recommended getting fixed and recommended a window well. It was well worth the small fee.

Description of Work: Sam came to the house at least twice, initially to inspect the concern of birds in the attic. He did not find any birds present, but he did find an open ceiling hatch which had previously permitted a bird to enter the living space. He went above and beyond to repair the ceiling hatch and then verified again there were no animals in the attic.

+ -1 moreSam was very knowledgeable all around and a very pleasant person. He left cages for an extra week or so to make sure there weren't any more squirrels. He also identified the location in our flashing where the squirrels probably got in so we could have it repaired.

+ -1 moreSAM CREEGER IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY, AND DID ALL OF THE WORK. HE RESPONDED TO OUR CALLS IMMEDIATELY, AND CAME TO INSPECT SOON AFTER WE ASKED HIM TO COME. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH, EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND GAVE ADVICE ON HOW TO KEEP THE TERMITES FROM COMING BACK. IN ADDITION, HE LEFT A LIVE-TRAP TO TRY TO TRAP AN ANIMAL UNDER THE PORCH, WITHOUT CHARGE (ONLY CAUGHT A SQUIRREL, ANYWAY). THE JOB WAS PERFORMED QUICKLY, THOROUGHLY, AND HE CLEANED UP. THE CONTRACT WAS A LITTLE CONFUSING, BECAUSE THE TREATMENT IS GUARANTEED FOR 5 YEARS, BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY $90/YEAR FOR AN INSPECTION TO MAINTAIN THE GUARANTEE.
Description of Work: THE REPRESENTATIVE INSPECTED THE AREA OF TERMITE ACTIVITY. HE INSPECTED THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. HE DITCHED AND/OR DRILLED AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE HOUSE AND INJECTED THE PESTICIDE. IN THE BASEMENT HE DRILLED HOLES IN THE WALL NEAR THE TERMITE ACTIVITY, INJECTED THE PESTICIDE, AND FILLED THE HOLES WITH CEMENT. HE CAME BACK TO DRILL ADDITIONAL HOLES IN THE SIDEWALK TO INJECT MORE PESTICIDE, AND FILLED THE HOLES IN.

+ -1 moreTHE MAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL TYPE'S OF PESTS. HE WORKED SEVERAL YEARS WITH THE EPA AND WAS WELL VERSED ON PESTICIDES AND APPROPRIATE TREATMENT FOR MOST EVERY PEST. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: WE WERE INFESTED WITH CLOTHES MOTHS. THE OWNER CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND VERIFIED THAT THEY WERE HOUSE MOTHS, EDUCATED US ON HOW TO GET RID OF THEM (HE DID NOT SPRAY SINCE IT WOULD DO NO GOOD) AND LEFT TRAPS TO MAKE SURE WE HAD ISOLATED THE PROBLEM. HE CALLED A FEW DAYS LATER TO SEE IF WE HAD ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS.

HE DIDN'T CHARGE FOR DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, AND HELPED ME SAVE MONEY BY EXPLAINING HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM MYSELF. I ALSO ASKED HIM TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE CARPENTER ANT PROBLEM WE HAD LAST YEAR WAS TAKEN CARE OF. HE CHARGED US $53 ONLY BECAUSE HE HAD TO CLIMB INTO A TIGHT CRAWL SPACE TO CHECK ON THE ANTS.
Description of Work: I HAVE CARPENTER BEES IN MY BACKYARD, AND WANTED TO GET RID OF THEM. MR. CREEGER SHOWED ME WHERE THE BEES WERE LIVING, AND DESCRIBED, TO ME, HOW AND WHEN TO GET RID OF THE BEES OURSELVES, FOR NO CHARGE.

+ -1 moreMR. CREEGER IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE HAS MULTIPLE COLLEGE DEGREES IN HIS FIELD, & REALLY UNDERSTANDS ALL THE DIFFERENT CHEMICALS IN RELATION TO ALL THE DIFFERENT CRITTERS. HE IS ALSO VERY HONEST. HE COULD HAVE TAKEN THE JOB, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOT MUCH LEFT TO SAVE.

HE EVEN ARRANGED FOR A REPAIRMAN TO MANAGE COMPLEMENTARY REPAIRS THAT WERE TO RESULT FROM SOME OF THE WORK HE PERFORMED. HE WORKED AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT IN ORDER TO CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE PROBLEMS RELATED TO NOCTURNAL INSECTS, BEFORE SELECTING THE CORRECT TREATMENT FOR ONE OF OUR PRIOR PROBLEMS.
