I asked for a quote to have a screen porch replaced. The owner actually seemed ticked off that he had to come out and look at the job, then said he was too busy to take out the screens and transport them to the shop for work. I told him that I was more interested in having the panels replaced with new ones and asked for a quote on that job. Never heard back. Their competitors Pittsburgh Window and Door couldn't have been nicer and got the work. If you need a new screen porch skip the call to Dun-rite.

They never responded. Ended up signing up with another company.

This is the second time, and second house, using Dunrite for replacement windows. As with last time, excellent quality of work, reliable coordination from quote through installation, very professional.

The owner, Dino, is fantastic to work with. Honest, upfront and very responsive. I would and will use him and his company again. The workers did a fantastic job with the installation. Dino was prompt in coming to give us an estimate. Bob did an excellent job installing the doors. Bob, the installer, was very knowledgeable and conscientious.

Dun-Rite was excellent to work with! In my experience, it's much better to do work with a small family owned business, and they did not disappoint! The owner, Dino, did the initial estimate himself, was pretty quick about scheduling it, and was quick when completing the estimate (only took about 15 minutes). Dino was pleasant and professional to work with, and unlike the big window companies he didn't require my spouse to be present and there was no high pressure sales pitch, just quick and easy. About a month after the estimate I called in to see if the windows had come in from the order yet, and to ask about scheduling the install. Dino got back to me right away and scheduled the install for soon after. Total turnaround time from estimate to install was about 6 weeks. Dino honored the Angie's List 5% discount with payment by check (was written onto the estimate itself and honored in the final price), and no payment was collected until the windows were installed. Two guys completed the installation, and they were also great to work with. Both were professional, respectful, and did a very nice job. The job took about 5 hours. Very pleased with the windows and would definitely hire them again! Thanks Dun-Rite!

The owner came to see the job at first, and that means a lot to me. The men that came to do the installation were very professional and did a very clean, neat job. They also explained everything about how to use the door, because of the seal between the two. Would definitely hire this company again! And I have no cold air coming in the front any more!!!!!

These guys are the best. I spent a very long time sorting through all the random sales pitches and was very pleased to finally talk to a straight shooting, good person who does good work. Do your own homework, but I think you will find what I did - there is no one better.

These folks are dependable, honest and prompt! They helped me diagnose my window issue on an earlier visit back in the summer, and since a part was needed OR the window needed to be totally replaced -- they kindly said it was a no charge visit. When I was able to get the part needed, they replaced the bottom sash, calling me very promptly to set up the appointment (after I e mailed them from Angie's List) and arriving right on time, and got the job done fast for a very good price. I will definitely contact this company in the future as I tackle my aging windows, which were basically a lower builder grade and just single hung. Thank you, Dun-Rite!

After moving into our house 7 years ago, we knew the windows were 25 years old and after dealing with the drafts and ones that were hard to open and some that would not open or some that wouldn't stay open without something holding them up for those 7 years, we figured it was time to replace them. We settled in doing all of the windows on the 1st and 2nd floor and saving the attic which is a walk up attic but mostly used for storage for another time. I had done research and settled on 3 companies who all came out and gave estimates. I was between Dun-Rite and another company as the price was within 10 dollars but I liked how knowledgable the owner, Dino was and just happened that I could get Triple Pane Windows for the same price as double so it was an easy decision. We got everything measured and just waited for things to be ordered. I was surprised when I got a call saying they could come the last two days of October as I figured it would be another week or two. On the day of the install, I called as I wasn't sure what time the crew would arrive and was told they should arrive at 9 which was fine, I guess I was just anxious to get things started. The crew of two, both named John arrived and said they were going to do the upstairs which was fine as there were 7 windows on that floor and 5 on the first floor. They told me it would be a two day project which was fine. We walked around each room and they had no issues with things being in the way and even was OK with moving a small cabinet and a couch out of the way in two of the rooms. I let them go ahead only coming up every now and then just to check on the progress. They worked hard and had all 7 of the old windows out and the new ones up along with the exterior trim all done by a little after 3 the first day. The second day, they arrive a little before 9 and again I showed him around and they got right to work with bringing everything in. They pretty much were done a little before 3 again as they actually broke for lunch compared to the first day. In the end, I was happy with the quality and the price I paid and time will tell how it will help with all the drafts but I was noticing a difference already upstairs with no drafts and much quieter with less exterior noise

They were responsive and friendly. They provided me 2 quotes that were less than quotes we received from every other place. They provided us with the option to take the window to their store, which saved us about $150. They completed the job ahead of schedule. I would definitely use them again.

Dunrite's service and quality was extremely impressive. The installers were polite, professional, thorough and they exceeded our expectations. My husband and I have had many services performed at our home and few contractors have ever been this outstanding. They worked quickly and yet got everything done on time and to perfection! They draped the carpeting including the hallway and cleaned up and hauled away all debris after the job was finished. We would highly recommend them!!

It went very well. Everyone start to finish showed up on time. They were friendly and professional. The doors were installed and finished quickly as promised. It is so much nicer now to have the messy, broken door finished off beautifully and working very smoothly.

Workers showed up on time. We're in and out in about 30 minutes. Explained what they were doing. Fixed the window and did not try to sell us a new installed window. The price quoted was the final price- no hidden costs. I would recommend to friends.

The estimate was free and given by the owner. My mother said that he was straight-forward and the price while higher than one estimate was lower than another. All were within $500 if I remember correctly . We ended up going with these guys because they were top rated on Angies list. They 2 man crew showed up on time and worked quickly. They did everything in one day. This included being left with a finished look inside and out. No real issues. No complaints about an old house (built 1948) with potentially previous lead-based paint on the walls, etc. Some drips of silicone based caulk on the hardwood floor were a little more of a mess for cleanup than I would have liked but overall these guys were not overly messy. It would be something to look after though. Vinyl replacement windows were all they offered at the time and while not a "name" brand the windows

Work went very well overall. The owner gave us the estimate. The workers (2) showed up ready to go and for the most part kept a house that was already cleaned and ready for sale nearly as clean when they left. They did drop some non-water soluable calk on a hard wood floor that I had to find and clean-up but this was not a big problem. This was my Grandmothers house that I had to prepare for sale and I was going to try to sell it without having the windows replaced but I finally determined that I should replace the windows. So this may be something to watch-out for. Overall though these guys were top rated on Angies list and that's why I hired them. I was not disappointed.
