It turned out very well. We were pleased and that is why we asked them to come back to do another project.

I received a call from one of the technicians before my scheduled appointment to let me know that they were running late.  When they arrived the two man team went right to work.  One installed a new weather head and straps to the back of my home where the power line came from the pole.  Meanwhile, the other began troubleshooting an electrical issue on our main floor which turned out to be a broken outlet.  The outlet was replaced quickly and by the time he was done both jobs were complete.  The guys double checked to make sure I didn't have any concerns before cleaning up and taking off.  The work was completed efficiently and was of the highest quality.  Both of the men were very professional and courteous.  On the way out I had them quote another job which I will certainly call and schedule them to complete.

   The workmaen arrived the day after I called.  They were able to fix two things right away.  They came back the next day and fixed the outlet that was constantly tripping.  The work was done quickly, professionally and on budget.

We have an older home and therefore have only lamps to light our living room.  We decided to pull the trigger and have six recessed lights installed, as well as move a wall switch and door chime.  Contacted CW Electrical after reading the great reviews and was impressed.  Chris, the owner of the company, came out on the scheduled date and time to provide me with an estimate (he was running a little late, but that didn't bother me).  The price he gave me was good for the work involved.  I called the following day and they were out to the house in less than one week.  They arrived an hour early (not going to complain there) and completed the job in 4 hours (all the while having to deal with my 3 year old daughter talking to them).  Both Chris and Brock did an excellent job.  We were impressed with their professionalism and the fact that they cleaned up after themselves.  I plan to use them in the future for other electrical work around the house.

Estimate was on time and hourly rate quoted was the actual rate charged.  Two electricians came to to the work.  after about 3 hours of work, they found the problem and fixed it;  so the outcome was good.  Along the way I spoke with one electrician who showed me another outlet which he said also did not function - I told him that I frequently use that outlet and that it seemed to be fine.  He then moved the exposed outlet and a shower of sparks flew up in the air with a loud pop as the circuit shorted.  Apparently there was current to that one.  Shortly after that, they found the problem and remedied it.  As they were finishing, they told me that they had also replaced a few of the outlets (although they were not the actual source of the problem) and that if I did not want them replaced that they could go back and replace them with the old outlets.  I agreed to just let them be since they were already installed and the old ones really were old -  I was just happy to have the circuit back to normal.  But when I looked at the outlets, they are bright white while the rest of the house has "almond" colored outlets;  it doesn't sound like much but the color difference is striking and it draws your eye right to the outlet.  Why not carry the common colors, or just ask me?  I happened to have a whole box of outlets in my garage as I am capable of replacing outlets-  what I really wanted was the diagnostic work and that is why I hired them in the first place.  Since they accomplished that, I was satisfied with the job, with the few details noted above. 

As a contractor myself, I was very pleased with the process of using CW. Friendly response upon the initial call, Chris promptly came to estimate the work, gave us a fair price, and we scheduled the work. He even came on a Friday afternoon, which is unusual to come in the afternoon to start work. Chris and Rock completed the work in about 2.5 hours, so they made good money for their time, but again as a contractor I know that it is only fair and it was worth the money to have a qualified, responsible contractor doing the work. Will definitely refer people to him in the future.

We have been slowly working on our house for several years, the previous owners tended towards DIY which resulted in some "creative" repairs.  Often, when we begin to change something we find things that make require a professional to put right.  Electrical repairs in our older home are especially irritating for an untrained home owner. We have been trying to update our kitchen this year, this included getting a new range hood and replacing our old electric range with a gas one.  We discovered that the old range hood was wired to a kitchen outlet, and had been cemented in to the wall with spray foam insulation.  In order to install a vented hood, we needed to move that wire up about 18 inches.  Additionally, we needed a 120 outlet for the gas range we wanted, we didn't have one available.  On top of that , the outdoor outlets we'd had installed a few years ago hadn't worked properly since their installation.   I used Angie's List and found CW Electrical, their ratings were very good and I called.  They answered right away, I explained what I needed done and made an appointment.  It all took maybe 20 minutes tops.  The electrician showed up in a timely manner and was friendly, polite, and professional.  He got to work quickly and efficiently.  He even used my broom and dust pan to clean up the dust and debris from installing the new 120 box.  We didn't even ask him to switch the range to a breaker by itself [even thought it was a good idea] he did it because it made good sense and would help us avoid tripping the breaker in the future.  He also explained why the outdoor outlets weren't working [the GFI was wired wrong]. My husband and I were very pleased with his work, his attitude and the professionalism , definitely will use this company again.

The gentleman that I talked to on the phone was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. He gave me a quote right over the phone and it was even better than a family member quoted me that did electrical work. I didn' t pay over a penny what he quoted me. Awesome workers too!! I will use them again in the future!

The experience was better than I expected. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They worked quickly and cleaned up as they went along. My price was very reasonable.

I called CW Electrical on Monday 3/28 because I could not figure why one circuit kept tripping. At the time that I made the appointment I also requested a whole house safety check. Chris and his helper arrived promptly at 10:00 am Tuesday morning just as promised. They quickly resolved the problem with my circuit breaker - provided the whole house safety check and upgraded 8 outlets to 3 prong and also installed a new dimmer switch in my dining room. They were professional, very courteous, and explained everything. I would definitely call them again and would highly recommend them to my friends and family when they need a electrician.

It is so refreshing to have a company stand by their quote, which was $880. The extra $80 was for 3 outlets to be upgraded to a 3 prong outlet and for my stove wire to be extended which was understanable. If you use this company you will get an honest company that does good work!

They were great. The price was little bit more. I got $40 off as I had coupon from Angie's List. They sure were friendly and they were professional. The technician who came really worked fast. There was no hanging around and killing time. He was professional and he was friendly. The owner initially came out and gave us an estimate. He couldn't have been nicer and initially he didn't even know that I find out his name on Angie's List. He was only one who got here. He was happy camper and very nice even before he knows I pulled his name out of Angie?s List. They were very nice. They were very pleasant and professional. I will definitely work with them. The price was fair. The work was well done. They were quick.

I called Wed am and they said some could be at my house the next day at 9am. The workman arrived exactly on time and the work was completed in less than 2 hours. Both representatives were kind and courteous.

We were very pleased with CW Electrical Services and will call them again. They were prompt, timely, friendly and did really good work. They suggested light placement, based on their experience, which worked really well. This was a really good experience for us.

Excellent! The two service techs showed up exactly on time, did the work quickly (about 2 hours), and were very friendly and professional. I was really impressed with how neat they kept the work area and how they cleaned up afterwards. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They were on time, professional and finished the work in one day (earlier then expected). I did have to call Chris back to cover a couple of junction boxes that had been overlooked which he took care of that same week. The mess wasn't too bad, nothing I couldn't deal with. There were wood chips in my washing machine from where someone had been working just above but overall, I think they did a really good job at cleaning a majority of the mess. Chris put the call in to have the inspector come out to inspect the panel and it was inspected early the following week. Overall it was a good experience. I found the owner, Chris, to be very knowledgable.

We chose Chris because of his responsiveness, positive attitude about rewiring an old (over 100 years) 3 story house, and reasonable price. He and his team were punctual, friendly, considerate, and conscientious. They worked consistently throughout the day. Chris brought in an extra guy to help finish the job before Christmas. They did minimal damage to the walls and ceilings, considering what they were doing, and cleaned up any mess at the end of every day. They even patched some extra holes that they had to make when a drill bit got stuck in the dining room ceiling. They put up with our 2 dogs who are constantly under foot and my kids home from school because of the holiday. Chris returned a couple of weeks later to fix anything that we found amiss after such a big job. I would hire him again.

We were able to get Chris to come within a couple days. He was prompt and found the problem right away. He gave me a couple different options to fix it. In the process he explained what happened, and then fixed 2 additional outlets that were experiencing the same problem. He also fixed a "do it myself" job much more quickly than I broke it. We will call him again the next time we need electrical work done.
