The charge of $384.00 to replace a kitchen faucet was terrible. They wanted $190 each to replace shutoff valves. I didn't have that done! This proves one thing. You don't need a gun to rob somebody!

They had to come out multiple times to resolve the issue.

I cannot rate their work quality because so far I have not had any work done. I reviewed my needs with their plumber and based on his recommendations I decided to hold off on some plumbing work until I replace some cabinets and sink, as any work completed would have to be undone at that time. High ratings, although since I paid for the trip but had no work done, I can't say the value is 5 stars.

I had an emergency on a Friday. Out of the 4 plumbers I called Benjamin Franklin was the only plumber to make sure to get to my house the same day. All the other plumbers weren't going to be coming until Monday. The price was great considering it was a rush job. Why I didn't give 5 stars all the way through is because the plumber never told me his name. Just said he's the "plumber" and the issue with my shower was fixed but I feel like it's still not as firm against the wall as it could be. Otherwise, I would recommend them and will definitely use them again.

We have used this company for 2 jobs previously on our uncle's home. The first job completed was unclogging the toilet line & installing a new toilet, for which we gave rave reviews. The second job was much simpler, only a new faucet installation. This time around the charge was excessive, over $500.00. To make matters worse the plumber told us to do the caulking around the new faucet & sink. For the price the plumber should have completed the caulking. The third job was a new toilet install, again. While using the toilet our uncle scooted back on the seat, the tank cracked along the bottom leaking water all over the bathroom floor & into the downstairs. We called the company immediately & were put on the schedule for the following day but they were unable to provide a time. We explained that we need to be called with the time because we would have to let our uncle's caretakers know to let the plumber in the house. We also stated after the plumber assessed the situation we need to be called. The following morning at 07:15 we received a call from the owner, Kevin, reporting the plumber would be there at 08:30. We stated again that once the plumber assessed the situation we need to be called & we can also discuss payment/arrangements. At 10:45, we received a call from the plumber stating the job was completed, we owed $349.00 & asked how were we going to pay. We explained we would have to speak with the office because 1. The toilet was less than 6 months old & shouldn't have cracked 2. No one called us before the job was completed. We left a message with the receptionist who stated she would have Kevin call back. We spoke with Kevin at 13:20 & explained our concern. He stated that someone had to fall into the toilet for it to crack like it did so it wouldn't be covered by any warranty. We explained that if our uncle fell against the toilet hard enough to cause it to crack our uncle would be in the hospital, our uncle is a frail 93-year old. Not to mention he has 24 hour caretakers & they reported no such fall. Kevin stated the crack COULD NOT be from a faulty device. We also explained we were not contacted prior to the job start. Kevin stated he thought the important issue was to get a functioning toilet in the home. He also stated he may have misunderstood what was said during the morning phone call, that the request for a call from the plumber was just for information regarding payment not for the okay to complete the work. Funny...if payment information/arrangements was all we needed then why wouldn't we just call the office? Moral of the story 1. Make sure you make whomever you speak with repeat exactly what you said and make them tell you they understand your directions 2. Check with other plumbers regarding costs regardless of prior reviews/recommendations 3. Verify what is included in each job 4. Some people need to realize this world is full of faulty products. Pricing too high . Over $300 to replace toilet ring. Outrageous!!

Derrick took time to assess and strategize multiple plumbing situations in my newly purchased 1950s home. At my request he gave me estimates for the bulk of the work I needed to get done. He also advised me on the most economical options for me since I have a budget for this house. On the same day, I asked him to install shut off valves under the bathroom sink so I could remove the vanity. He was fast and thorough. I’ll be calling and requesting him again.

Top notch all around. Starting with Kevin coming out to give the quote to do the job quickly. Elaine works the front desk and makes sure Kevin gets the messages that you leave with her. Joe who heads - up the crew that did the work is very careful to do the job correctly. Then there was Jeremy and Tony that worked tirelessly from beginning to end. My wife and I appreciated them a lot for there meticulous hard work. Great job guys!!! Would definitely recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing. A+ 5 stars
