I have been going to Bastone since I moved to Pittsburgh 4 1/2 years ago. They came highly recommended and not only have they lived up to the recommendation but have totally surpassed my expectations. I've use MANY mechanics in the past and have never had the service that Bastone provides. I never feel like they are just trying to make a buck or telling me I need something fixed that i don't. Stopped by once before a trip to the beach with a blinking oil light. They checked it while I waited and didn't charge me. Great customer service. I highly recommend them!!!

This is a small, family-owned garage that has been in business since the 50s. All of the people that work there are awesome. They are respectful, polite, and know what they are doing. They will take the time to explain everything and will tell you if they think you NEED to get something fixed RIGHT NOW, or if it can wait. I've been going there for thirteen years and won't go anywhere else. I'm not sure how their prices compare to other garages - they aren't cheap, but you wouldn't choose a doctor solely because he/she had the lowest price, right? To some extent, you get what you pay for - and they have definitely done quality work for me. I truly cannot say enough good things about them.
