"We do not give free estimate as stated in our profile. We charge a fee for the estimate and if the customer has the work done that fee is then taken off the once the work is completed. We charge for estimate for several reasons. # 1 Fuel prices are very expensive # 2 We do a complete inspection and give a written estimate # 3 We must pay for the person who comes and gives the estimate. Most companies charge for a "house call " so it is not out of line to charge a fee to come and inspect and give an estimate. As far as the gentleman being "rude" on the phone that is not true. Once the woman was told of the fee she was rude and hung up. We are not rude to any customers who call. However, it is our experience that once a customer calls and is told there is a charge to come to their home some to get upset which I do not understand because once again is stated clearly on our profile that we do not do free estimates."
"Anyone who calls the office is informed that during our "busy season" phone calls take up to 3 days to return. The phone call was returned in 2 days and at that time the was infomed that she needed an inspection not a estimate. The member also explained to us that she was a tight time frame she was told that because "her time frame" we would not be able to help her. We were very honest with her. That is one of the reasons we receive A's along with many other reasons. We can not always fit into a time frame that a potential customer may have. We are sorry that the member feels slighted and hope that she found someone who could help her in the time crunch she was on. On more note we do give free estimates to home owners however if someone is trying to purchase a home that is considered an inspection and is not a free service. Inspection can range from $185.00 and up. Alot of people who are trying to buy home do not want to go through the expense of this in case they do not purchase the home. We wish the member well!"
"This gentleman is correct and we are sorry. This is our busy season and he got lost in the shuffle. This is not a a usual occurrence. We try to get to everyone customer who calls us but sometimes we miss one or two. I will make sure that a return call gets to this customer by tomorrow evening. If he is still interested we will do our best to change his opinion."
"We have called 3 times to set up another appointment and our call was not returned. We would gladly come to give them a free estimate ( as we always do) however we have not received a response to our calls"
"We did not receive a email from these people. Please sent email to [email protected] and we will answer it. Thank you"
