I have been a regular customer for 10+ years. I have never been disappointed with any work done by Admiral. This maintenance call went just as smoothly as the previous ones. Rick and the other field guys, as well as the office staff, are pleasant and professional. They did an exemplary job once again.

They are always prompt and always available.

Some difficulty scheduling appointment but mainly due to my schedule. THey arrived as expected and took care of the service including replacing a filter and water panel. No complaints

Admiral was professional and extremely communicative from the minute we connected with them. The technician let us know when he was close to the house so my husband could minimize his time off from work, which was very much appreciated. The man who showed up to do the service was professional as well as personable. He immediately had a suspicion of what was wrong and confirmed this buy testing. My husband didn't have to say a word about what his brother had suggested might be wrong. The technician didn't have the part on his truck, but went so far as to find a replacement part that same day. He then went above and beyond a normal service call (in my and my husbands experience at least) and found out what caused the part to fail in the first place (partially blocked chimney pipe due to birds) and took the time to clean it out to prevent future failures. The entire experience was actually enjoyable (and when was the last time you enjoyed spending money), the price was very reasonable for the work done (backed up by my brother-in-law and his experience) and we have definitely found our new HVAC company here.

Had Admiral give me the cost to install A/C in the house which had Radiator Heat. He showed me the tpes of systems that would work. We dicided to install the high pressue system whcih required little if no major work to be done in running the ductwork. THe only ductwork visible was in a closet on the second floor. They started the work I beleive on a Tuesday Morning and by Thursday morning the system was installed and up and running. I should say it went much faster as the house was empty and it was easy for the workmen to do thier work. Admiral has also installed a new furnace in my house as well as my second daughters house with the usual effeciency and minimumm downtime ,usually in day. I also use the company to check my heat/cooling system during the year. Would recommend the company to anyone that needs heating and cooling work done.

We've been using them for about 8 years. They are very quick to respond. They do great job.

I called the company on 8/30/12 to set up a time when they could come out to look at what needed to be done. On 8/31/12 the owner came to my house over my lunch hour. He was prompt and it took maybe 15 minutes to look at when I needed done and for me to tell him what I wanted. I gave him my email address and told him he could email me the estimate which I received on 9/4/12, as well as a hard copy in the mail a few days later. From that point on I would email him questions, which he answered for me. I had two other estimates as I feel it is always good to get at least 3 quotes. What impressed me about Steve, the owner was he was prompt. When he said he would be at your house he was on time or a few minutes early. My proposal was typed and detailed what would be done - clear and concise. He was pleasant to work with and answered all questions. The work was done on 9/26/12 and they arrived at the house at 8:30a.m. and were done before 1 pm. All debris was cleaned up and received instructions on the Furnace, AC unit and air cleaner.

They were efficient and had a big crew. They installed the whole thing in two days and that was under their estimate. We took four quotes for the job and they had the best price. I was really impressed by them.

Went smoothly except the furnace that was priced in the estimate was not available, according to the salesman. He attempted to substitute a lesser quality furnace for the same money. I called the manufacturer, who assured me that the furnace in the original estimate was available. I contacted the salesman with this info and the furnace I requested was ordered and installed. I am satisfied with the furnace.

The contractor arrived, quickly looked at the furnace and air conditioning, asked if I had any questions, and told me he would send an estimate via e-mail. The total visit was five minutes as compared to other contractors who sat down with me for thirty minutes or more to find out exactly what I wanted and exactly how the house was heating/cooling at this time.

He was at all times professional. I used them in the fall to examine my furnace, at which time I was very pleased. I was able to make an appointment then.

Did not know what was wrong with furnace. Would kick off for long periods of time. First call, Admiral came the very next day. Cleaned out furnace thinking that was the problem. Same thing happened a few days later on a Saturday and they came back within hours. Turned out was exchanger. They had part in truck, did the job in less than an hour. No problems since. Would definitely recommend.

Rick came out to fix a finicky pilot light in my furnace. He serviced the entire furnace (removed and cleaned parts, examined everything thoroughly, vacuumed the interior, etc.) From the time I called to make the appt., to the time Rick left, everything was super professional. I've had nightmares with others, and I'm so relieved to find a professional and reasonable company for my HVAC.

This morning my husband was in our laundry room and found water all over the floor. The water was coming from underneath our furnace. He called two other companies, neither of which were able to come until next Tuesday at the earliest. So his father suggested Admiral as he had a positive experience with them. He called, and Rick was currently at a house about 2 streets from our house and offered to stop down to take a look. He found the problem immediately (2 dry rotted hoses) and said he'd order them. He told him that he'd be back tomorrow with the hoses & replace them. But to our delight, he had them this afternoon and was able to come back and install them around 4. Originally we would have had to keep our furnace off until tomorrow, but since he was able to get the hoses in today, we can sleep comfortably. I'm very pleased. He also looked at our humidifier and noticed that the panel was the wrong size and replaced it for us. We'll definitely use Admiral again for furnace and air conditioning maintenance.

I received a call from an elderly friend late in the afternoon saying that her air conditioner had stopped blowing cold air and her house was very warm. I called Admiral Heating and Cooling who said they would have a service man look at it in the morning. At about 8:30 the next morning the serviceman called and arranged to meet me at my friend's house. He quickly identified the cause of the problem: a mouse had been living in the outside condensor and had chewed away the insulation on the wires and, in the process, shorted out the unit electrocuted himself. the serviceman cleaned out the dead mouse and his nest, rewired the unit, and performed other general maintenance on the unit. The serviceman was timely, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable -- I was very happy I had recommended him to my friend.

The serviceman was experienced and knowledgeable and took pains to try to save me money. For example": When he told me that the circuit in the electronic air cleaner was bad, he explained I could have it repaired for about $250 or replace the unit with an oversized paper filter that would clean the air nearly as well for $50 -- but the paper filter would need to be replaced annually. It was nice to have a choice. And, it was nice to have a serviceman where I felt I could trust both his knowledge as well as his integrity.

Everything was fine. Greg was very pleasant and explained everything to me. Would definitely use Admiral again.

We actually had the owner visit a year before during first floor construction to get his thoughts on running pipe to this area while we had a wall exposed which could have given access. He gave us his recommendation to not use this area, and some other options for exploration at a later point, and didn't try to push for work at that time. We appreciated his honesty and definitely wanted to work with him when the time came. The radiator installation process went smoothly and I definitely recommend them.

On a Friday in mid-February, when it was about 10 degrees out and it was already after 5pm, we got home and realized that we had no heat. Of all the places we called, Admiral was the only one that could make it out that night and wouldn't charge us at least $100 just to walk in our front door. He showed up within an hour of our call and fixed the boiler within 45 minutes. Our boiler was so old that the diagnosis probably took longer than it needed to, but he was very thorough.

It was an excellent experience. Very professional, very timely, excellent communication. When the guys arrived they hardly stopped to breathe for 3 straight days. They were considerate and thoughtful and cleaned up after themselves. They would arrive at 8:30, take a half an hour lunch break right here and finish at 5:00. No loud music, no wasting time. It was awfully hot up in our attic, where a lot of the work was done, and they joked rather than complaining about it. The venting and duct work are very neat and they were considerate about aesthetic placement of vents. It was absolutely painless for us. I have used this company before to my great satisfaction every time. The owner is a great guy, very honest and easy to deal with. I had to leave the house briefly a couple of times while the guys were here and felt completely comfortable doing so. I would give these people my absolute highest recommendation and having the air conditioning is a great joy.
