ABOVE THE NORM

Cleaning crew was not always the same. Basic cleaning was decent, but they often missed cleaning in corners or under furniture. We noticed a few breakables were missing. Someone took a phone charging cord, returning it after a couple of weeks. (They were charging their phone while at my house, and "thought it was theirs.") The final problem was when we saw that someone had been in our check book. We have no idea why, but someone actually wrote "Above the Norm" on the check. Since my husband and I were the only other people around, the writing didnt match either of our handwriting, and we noticed it the evening after they were in to clean, it had to be someone from ATN.

Very pleasant, hard working cleaners, always on time, kitchen and all surfaces cleaned, carpets vacuumed. Not a spec of dust or dirt left when they finished. I have them come every 4 weeks and am very happy with their work

Debbie is very responsive, and very reliable. The only time when she needed to reschedule was when the roads were really icy, and coming would have been too dangerous. She always calls the day before to confirm the day and approximate hour of arrival (and quot;between 8:30 and 9:30and quot;). The time slot is usually right on.
I'm not so happy with the quality of cleaning: it depends on who is on the team, I think. Countertops and microwave are sometimes left with severe streaks (cleaner residue), and we've found dustbunnies under the sofa or under our clawfoot tub. They do make the beds and change sheets, but pillows seem to be thrown into the pillow case, and somebody was clearly in a hurry.
As for hiring them again: I'm on the fence about that right now.

We have had Above the Norm clean our house for about two years. We've been very happy with them overall. Firstly, they are very reliable. They show up every Thursday and call the day before to let us know approximately (within a hour) of when they plan to get here. Secondly, they were very willing to let us customize our cleaning schedule (i.e., which rooms/floors to clean on which weeks). We've also been happy with the quality of their cleaning; they detail about a quarter of our house each week. The company consists of a small group of cleaners, so they know our house very well. Our cat also really likes them. :)

Deb's prices are so low that initially I was willing to put up with her unprofessional staff. They were rarely on time and always had an excuse about why they late. The girls almost always reeked of cigarette smoke. Her staff complains about her bitterly-- 'she doesn't give us enough time to do a good job, she won't let us take a lunch break'. The quality of the work ranged depending on which girls she sent-- sometimes it was pretty good, other times pretty bad. More than one of the girls approached me about cleaning for me outside of agreement with Deb for less but they were uninsured. I ultimately decided to look for a new service provider when I inquired about one of the girls who hadn't come in a while. Her co-worker casually mentioned that she'd been fired for stealing medications from customers home and that "by the way, she took some of your alcohol one time".

They did a great job cleaning my home. They were pretty punctual and responsive. They ladies that did the work payed very close attention to what needed to be cleaned. They were also very nice to work with as well.
