Great experience. Explained the system thoroughly during the proposal phase, then the installation went smoothly and quickly. We went from a pre-mitigation level of at least 14 pCi/L to a post-mitigation level of below 1.0 pCi/L. Great piece of mind and no problems since the install. Highly recommended.

Was professional in all interactions. Mark responded to my initial phone call message the same day, then subsequently arrived promptly for both initial site inspection and consultation, and (his installer) for subsequent installation. Mark explained options and his recommendations, and both he and his installer took the time needed to address all our questions both during the initial consult and during installation. Extremely neat installation (both with regard to the work space during install, clean-up, and the final appearance of the installation itself... the final installation is even more unobtrusive than I thought it would be). Installation has successfully reduced measured levels from slightly elevated to current levels now below guidelines. Pricing was in the expected ball park for the work (at the low end). Would definitely recommend Radon-Rid to others.

Marc came out in short order to review the old system and develop plans for the new one. He was very thorough in explaining how radon remediation works and how the new system would be installed, including expansion to maximize effectiveness. The tech came at the scheduled time and was very professional and efficient in doing the installation

The owner visited my home and evaluated the requirements for the remediation system. He sent a proposal and we scheduled and installation date. The technician arrived on time and did an excellent and professional job with the installation. He walked me through the installation and the operating procedures. Follow testing show the radon level was reduced below recommended level.

Everything went well. They installed the system on the day scheduled. We set up the radon test kit 48 hours later. Seventy-two hours later we mailed the results. The system worked! The radon level was reduced to within an acceptable range.

Marc came out to our house for a quote on a Radon system and did a nice job explaining why a system is needed, and how it works. On the day of installation everything went smoothly. Everything went fine with the installation and there were no issues. I have no problem with them. They explain how to do it and they way was done was quite thoughtful. They were a good outfit ad they did the work.

It was perfect. They were truly competitive with the other companies out there but I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from them.

I think it was pretty good. We have a little higher standard than normal people because we've actually renovated two homes in California. For our level, they were very professional and they did exactly what they were going to do. I think they offered a fair price and they're very organized. They were very professional. They reduced the radon but I don't think it was nice and tight looking as I would have liked it to be.

It worked out well. I was going to sell the house and I had a problem with the radon. The owner came himself and he was professional and good. They did the job on time. They were total professionals and they gave me a good price. They seemed to be knowledgeable about what they were doing. I would recommend them.

Their testing confirmed the test that I performed independently. Their price was reasonable, they were very nice and showed up on time. I have a big basement that is mostly a woodshop - the installer was very flexible in how/where he installed the system - working around my shop space. It's been over a year since they installed the system - it's working great.

Marc came and made a thorough assessment of the radon level in our basement. * He gave us advice on how to get the radon levels tested using a mail in service that saves us money * We had a level of just 3.9 (just below the recommended upper level of 4). Marc reminded us that at this level we do not really need to get the work done, unless we wish to on our own. * He also pointed out that there was no guarantee of reducing this, given our low levels - that he would try his best but could not provide assurance. I was really impressed with how he was providing us such sincere advice (above) because it was in our best interest, despite the loss of opportunity to make some money. He was totally knowledgeable on how Radon levels are impacted and clearly educated me on the process that he uses for reduction. He and his office manager were also extremely professional and punctual with our interactions. Finally, his fees are also very reasonable. I highly recommend him. Not many people like him around...

I did my own research about how a radon system should be installed in my home that has a sump pump and french drain. Marc new exactly what to do and the information matched my research. His worker showed up on time and just like Marc answered any questions I had and did a very good job on the install. My radon level went from 5.2 to a 1.5. He used an aluminum downspout on the outside which is what everyone uses and it looked nice. On a windy day I noticed that there was a noise and vibration at the wall where the aluminum downspout went up the wall. This wall is my master bedroom wall right behind the headboard of my bed. I called Marc and he sent a guy out to look at it and said everything looked good maybe just a one time occurrance. Long story short after many visits to my house about this problem and many nights of sleeping in my spare bedroom, Marc said he never had this problem before and that he can't be responsible for a house with a wind issue. It had been 2 months so I decided to do my own research on the internet and talked to several other radon professionals about the problem. I was told by all of them that this problem does happen and the first thing that should be done is the aluminum downspout should be removed and a plastic downspout used and strapped directly to the house. They also all agreed that a 4" system is better than a 3" system, so I had Marc use 4" downspout, even though the part below the fan was still 3". They also said to have the end of the downspout point directly up to the sky so there will not be a drip edge for condensation to build up and freeze. I called Marc and told him that I wanted these changes. Marc agreed to the changes if I paid for the new supplies. His worker made the changes and I haven't had any problems since. I was a little dissapointed that Marc didn't know what to do. I had to find out how to fix it. I didn't know if it was going to work but I had to do something for myself.

My home failed a radon inspection while under contract for sale. Marc came out the day after I called and gave me a thorough estimate. After I approved the estimate, they were out to install the system in another day or two. The install was neat and professional. The area was cleaned up so you could not even tell they had been there. They made everything easy!
