Marc and his team are awesome. We moved into a home with a 8pci/l reading. The team from Radon-Rid came out a couple days after Christmas to install a mitigation system. We couldn't be happier with the results. Marc's installer spent about 30 minutes with me explaining the system to ensure I'd be comfortable with everything. Our readings are now below 1pci/l. Wonderful. Received return call in 24 hours and Marc had located fan source and was to have it in hand in 48 hours. Fan arrived, Marc called and set up installation the following Monday. (Initial call was Tuesday). Installer arrived on time Monday am. and completed total job in two hours. It was great. All employees with whom I worked were very nice. The company lots of informative brochures and extensive emails to ensure I understood the process and the steps along the way, as the well as what I would be receiving for my payment.

It went well. It was for the closing on our house. The new buyers wanted an estimate based on the inspection report feedback. We are providing the new homeowners with their quote. They were very easy to deal with, prompt and reasonable.

I bought a radon detector for our basement and the results were a steady 5.3 pCi's. After Marc's team came and installed the radon mitigation system, I gave it a week and checked my detector - 1.3 pCi's!! Phenomenal job! The mitigation system is quiet and working like a charm. In fact, my spouse was not even aware that we had it done! Would definitely hire if I ever needed this service again at a future house.

Extremely well. Marc Marino was very professional in helping me to find the right replacement fan and very prompt in following up with a quote which was favorably priced compared to competitors. He got me scheduled quickly and performed the work in a prompt and courteous manner. An extra service he provided was a follow up free radon test to validate that the remediation was still working correctly. Everything went perfectly and I couldn't have asked for a higher level of customer service or professionalism. I would highly recommend this company.

Radon-Rid came out and installed the remediation system in a couple of hours. The install looks very professional and reduced the radon levels to from 5.0 to 1.8PCi/L. I would use them again without question.

I called the office and explained the situation and asked that I not be sent a salesperson as our situation needed an expert. We had a French drain put in and had in several reported radon experts but were not provided a solution. Marc, the owner we prompt with my appointment, walked us through the remediation plan, as called our contractor who did the waterproofing in less than an hour our meeting. The work was done on time and we now have the system fixed so that we can finish the basement.

After a recent radon test, we determined that our existing abatement system was not working well enough to keep our radon levels below safe levels. The company did an inspection and recommended a new blower and to check the collection sites to make sure they were adequately excavated. After replacing the fan and enhancing the existing collection sites our radon levels are now down to the same as the fresh air outside. Hopefully we won't need them again, but if we ever have an issue with our system in the future we will definitely have them back.

Marc Marino, the owner, came and did the evaluation and estimate. He retuned on the specified day and installed the system with an assistant. Both episodes were on time. Job completed very neatly, on time and on budget. Radon level in finished basement reduced from 7.0 pCi/L to 1.8 pCi/L (very good low level!) Great job Marc - thanks!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience

From the initial contact with the company to the actual work day itself, Radon-Rid was punctual, polite and very thorough. Everything was explained and any questions were answered. The work was done quickly and the cleanup was very thorough. I would recommend their services.

Superb quality installation with completely successful results. Installation process was clean and neat, and the finished look is clean and unobtrusive. Thoughtful design, layout, and execution by a team that is thoroughly professional. Within one day radon levels were below 1.0, as measured by my personal radon meter and the results of the post installation radon laboratory test, the cost of which was included in the installation price. My advice: don't consider any other contractor. First rate service from my initial telephone contact through the completion of the job. First rate company that lives up to its promise.

From the moment I called up to inquire about a radon fan replacement, I knew this would be the company to use. The woman who answered the phone was extremely pleasant to talk to. Not only was she able to set up my appointment and the usual things you'd expect, but she was extremely knowledgeable and patient as she walked me through exactly where I'd be able to locate the model of fan and how the whole process would work. The replacement was a success. They gave us a timeframe for when they would be out, and they even phoned us the day of ahead of time to let us know when to expect their arrival. My wife was there for the installation and she said they were extremely nice to deal with and explained to her what they were going to do, and how it should work once it was replaced. I'm very happy with how they treat their customers and found their pricing to be very competitive.

I called to have a mitigation system installed in my house. The house was built with a "Passive Radon System", which is a fancy word for incomplete. We have the PVC pipe running into our foundation and up through the house, but it ends in the attic. Which is pointless, because it needs to vent complete out of the house, and it needs a fan to draw the radon up the piping. So basically this does nothing. Radon-Rid came out tot he house and gave me a quote for the work that was very reasonable. I believe it was $89. But the quote was going to use the current system, but they wanted to put a whole in the side of the house and run the pipe up the outside of the house. They tried to highlight that they were using metal downspouts rather than PVC, but in my eyes anything extra on the side of my house is just not desirable. I called back and said I want the vent to go through the roof and not up the side and use the system that was currently in place and it only added $11 to the quote. So I am very happy with the end result. The work came out so nice and you really can't tell anything was done, unless you go into the basement. They sealed all my sump pumps and any possible opening that could let radon through. The work was very professional. And I think the price was more than reasonable. I just have to wonder why they thought the option to have the gutter on the side of my house was the recommendation. To me this was the best way to do it.
