Description of Work: Excellent, well-run company. They replaced most of my 27+ year-old radon mitigation system in a very timely manner. I was impressed with the initial visit by the owner who explained in detail what work needed to be done. The technician arrived on time, worked carefully, and answered any additional questions I had. I would definitely recommend Radon-Rid LLC.

He was very knowledgable and since our radon levels were quite high recommended a 4 point system. The work was performed in 1 day and we are very happy with the results. We especially liked that his service comes with a guarantee of acceptable radon levels and he actually came and checked out the job beforehand which were the main reasons we went with him.

Description of Work: Came on-time for initial visit, survey, design, and quote. Very well educated and informed in their field and provided a fair quote. Their quote was not the lowest or highest, but they also worked with me to make sure I was comfortable and that I understood the differences amongst competitors. On the day of installation, the team was on-time again and performed a clean and flawless install that required some heavy duty drilling of our exterior stone wall (24" thick).

Description of Work: Mike came out to our home, explained everything that would be done. Asked us if we knew about Radon, explained all to us. One of the few who actually asked about where we would like the fan placed. Estimate was very close to the others. Mike was chosen because of the time he gave us to explain it all to us. When he did come to install, he came as promised..installed the equipment and cleaned up after!!! Wonderful family business!!

Description of Work: I needed Radon remediation. They were very responsive to work with. They were going to be late but called to let me know. They figured out where to dig the holes in the floor and the side of the house. I asked to have the hole in the house drilled on a quiet side and they said it couldn't be done. I wondered if the unit was loud. He said it was very quiet and he suggested I experience their work down the street. I went down there and couldn't hear the unit.I asked for the downspouts to be green in color to match my house. They didn't have them but were willing to drop them off at my house a week ahead of time to give me time to paint them.I cleared out the area to to be cleared for the holes in the floor.On the day they showed up, they realized that they had to go through the wall I wanted them to go through anyway. So, the place I had cleared for them wasn't going to be used and I hadn't cleared the place they needed to go. I also cleared out a lot more for the holes in the floor than I had to.They were finished when they said they would but didn't clean up as well as I would have liked.The unit is quite a bit louder than I thought it would be. I understood that I would not be able to hear it at all.The good news is my Radon level dropped to almost zero so they did as they promised.

Worked with us on some tricky scheduling issues; arrived promptly @ appointed time & performed work in professional manner.

Description of Work: Marc, the owner, arrived on time and explained how and where he would install the system and then emailed a detailed estimate ($817). I accepted his bid and set a time and date for the work. He was on time, professional, skilled, and neat. Interestly, my new neighbor had a DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR install his radon system and is extremely unhappy. My neighbor's contractor was cheaper, but did shoddy work, and will not return his calls. So, my neighbor is hiring Marc from Radon-Rid to correct the first contractors mess. I would definetly recommend Radon-Rid... solid, honest workmanship.
