As everyone else said, it went great. Marc was great to work with throughout the process and was in and out in less than one day for the actual work, which was straightforward. I held off submitting this for a while to make sure everything would last, and while it hasn't quite been a year yet, everything looks and works great...

I had the distinct pleasure of hiring Marc to perform Radon mitigation in 2 areas in my house. I have nothing but praise to say: Marc has the nicest personality possible. He listens, provides options and expert advice and does everything humanly possible to do a professional and aesthetic job and make his customer happy. A second company that I consulted with said that it would be close to impossible to drill under the family room slab. They never even sent the quote. Marc came, inspected my property, proposed a solution and sent the quote the next day. Marc also explained that the waterproofing wall panels need to be sealed with a backer rod in order not to lose the fan's vacuum (the waterproofing company, BQ Basement systems, did it for me at no cost.) Marc's price was reasonable and I decided to hire him. Marc came on the promised date, on time, performed the work quickly (after discussing a few options), explained how the system works and left a test kit for the re-test. The workmanship is simply outstanding. Everything is laid out neatly. All the openings sealed. Electric work is nice and neat. Could not be any better. Lastly - Radon levels dropped from 4.5 to 1.4 both in basement and family room. If I could hire "a Marc" for everything I need to do in my house, my life would have been better! Marc responded quickly to my initial inquiry. We scheduled a date to come see my basement but I had to cancel due to an emergency. It was easy to reschedule. His first visit he looked over everything carefully and determined exactly how he was going to proceed. I already had the results of a recent test which was not high, but high enough for action to be required. On his second visit he installed the piping and fan unit. He carefully went over all the instructions. He was thorough,flexible, and knowledgeable. I have not yet done the second test but I was very impressed with how he operates.

Overall service was excellent. Marc, the owner of the company, did the work. He was very friendly, professional and well-organized. I have not yet tested for radon. He said he cannot guarantee results because I have precast concrete walls that sit on a gravel foundation.

Overall I was very pleased with the total experience. Marc was extremely knowledgeable in this field, he explained the cause and potential mediation of the Radon levels and provided a reasonable estimate for repair, The work was performed within a week of the initial contact and was completed in a very professional manner. I would strongly recommend Marc and Radon-Rid LLC for Radon Mitigation. I wish all contractors could have the approach, attention to detail and the understanding of their business as well as Marc Marino demonstrated

Radon-Rid installed a remedation system for me... Marc did a great job with the installation and cleaned up well after the install was done... I was very pleased from start to finish...

Marc was very professional and the work was done with high quality. I followed up with a radon test. My radon level in the basement prior to mitigation was 10 pCi/L. 4 days after the mitigation - 0.6 pCi/L. I am very happy with Marc's and Radon-Rid's work. .

Came right away for estimate and installed system 1 week later. Very professional-no muss, no fuss. Good cleaning and no sign of dust from drilling hole through floor slab. System is quiet and it works-got our radon down from 14.8 to 2.5.

Marc showed up on the day that we had arranged and worked quickly and completing the job in the one visit. He was very helpful and thorough. Left a radon test for me to complete after he had replaced the existing radon fan that was in the attic. The test results were returned to me within 1-1/2 weeks.

The Radon Rid representatives arrived at the appointed day and time to perform the work. They were very punctual and friendly. They spent a couple hours installing the new radon remediation system and explained how it would work. Then, before they left, I was given a free test kit and instructed how to use it. Overall, they were very professional and knowledgeable. This is the second time I've used this company for services (for two different houses), and I would highly recommend them.

While other similar companies suggested we install two systems, Marc was insistent one would work and at least start with one. He was right, the system he intelligently and cleanly installed brought our level down from 11 to 1.1 (10% of what they were). The system is not that handsome (semi-large fan and pipe outside our home and medium piping in the house), but it works. Marc was responsive and accommodating with timing for install and his price very fair. I would highly recommend him.

As one can imagine, having one's home tested for radon can be a scary thought. Especially during the analysis (a few days total). Mark however, made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. He was very communicative and answered all of my questions. We will use his company for the upcoming abatement of radon. We were very satisfied.

It was one of the easiest home work efforts we had to done in all years of being a homeowners. We had a Radon test completed because we were getting ready to sell our house. The test was completed by another company and the results were a little over 7, so we knew we needed to have a mitigation system installed. The company that performed the radon test did not recommend a solution that seemed to be complete and they would guarantee that the radon level would drop to an acceptable level. I went on to Angie's List and found Radon Rid. The feedback on the company was good so I gave them a call. The company lived up to what I had read. Marc spent time explaining to me what he thought he would need to do. He came out the next day and explained the solution he would implement. Within 24 hours we had a detailed proposal. The system was installed the next week. Marc was on time for all appointments and did exactly what he had explained. He work was neat and clean. I felt that he treated my house like as if it was his home. Currently we are doing a radon test that will be sent to a lab for the new radon results. This test was included as part of the Radon Rid solution. If the test results do not bring the radon level below acceptable levels, Marc will come back and make the necessary changes.

Mark came to do the estimate and did the installation. He was conquirl, knowledgeable and skilled.

They were reasonably priced and very professional. They were extremely reliable and I will recommend their services. I will continue to use their services in future.

Marc was a pleasure to work with and a true professional. We thought the pricing was reasonable, and there was hardly any clean-up needed. The follow-on suction point was necessary because we had inaccurately characterized the scope of our radon problem based on the results of a test two years ago administered while the previous owner of the house was there. Marc brought our radon level down to 1.5 pCi/L (likely from over 10).

Called Marc and from the very beginning knew he was the person for the job. He was very friendly from the beginning and was never in a hurry. He always returned our calls and was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and eased all our concerns. We scheduled an appointment to meet him and for him to inspect our home and give us an estimate. He spent over 45 minutes with us explaining his plan and answering all our questions. He did the job as scheduled at the quoted price and did an outstanding job. The post-mitigation results were excellent; well below normal. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!!
