Our experience with Radon-Rid was excellent. I believe the owner does all of the jobs himself, and is very knowledgable, professional, and polite. Radon-Rid did a very efficient job of installing our system, and even patched a hole is our basement floor without us asking him too. Even our plumber (who was there for another job) was highly impressed with his professionalism and just what an overall nice guy he was. I would definitely use him again if ever needed.

Marc was very responsive, timely and the work looks great, the system was installed from our basement through the garage and into the attic to vent through the roof and it looks very neat, hardly shows at all. He was very easy to work with and provided plenty of information for us about radon. Our radon readings were not that high (4.3) to begin with, but we felt better having the system installed rather than re-testing, all in all I would say that things couldn't have been easier.

I had my radon mitigation done by RADON-RID LLC. I dealt, in person and over the phone, with Marc Marino who was very polite and extremely professional. Marc came out to give me the free estimate and describe the scope of work. He was very informative and pleasing to work with as he discussed several different options as to how i would like the work to be done. I wasn't actually home when they performed the work but was told they were on time and proffesional. The work looked great and was barely noticeable. They left everything clean and the work was done exactly as we agreed to. A very pleasant experience. I would use them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

We had 2 radon remediation companies give us quotes for the installation of the system. The prices were comparable, however we went with Radon-Rid because when Marc visited our house, he asked where we'd prefer the system to be placed and worked with us according to our preferences. The other company did not really give us an option. Marc was extremely professional, patient, and willling to explain in detail how the system and installation works. The installation was quick and clean and you barely notice it in the basement and on the side of the house. We were very pleased with their work.

We are very pleased with Radon Rid's professionalism and work quality. Upon contacting them with the problem, they followed up to determine our exact model of exhaust so that they could order the part and replace in one visit. They were prompt and courteous during their visit and performed the job to our expectations. Their office was polite in all communications throughout the process. They followed up after their visit with a radon measuring kit and a complete report and assessment of our radon levels. Other companies which provide this service lack the professionalism that Radon Rid demonstrated. I would absolutely use them again for our needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who need similar service.

From the initial phone call to job completion, Marc from Radon-Rid did a terrific job. The model and serial # on the old fan were in an inaccessible location and Marc was able to determine the appropriate fan replacement based on emailed photos. He arrived on time and quickly and efficiently installed the new fan. I particularly appreciated that he took the time to explain that radon levels need to be tested every two years and offered me suggestions on the most effective and cost efficient way to do the job as part of our on-going maintenance routine. I would wholeheartedly recommend Marc to friend or foe when it comes to radon remediation. From start to finish the whole process was handled with complete professionalism. Marc is really good at what he does and is a nice guy too. The whole process was easy. I phoned Marc, he came to see the property, emailed a quote ( I had two quotes and he beat them both hands down) , we set up a date, he arrived on schedule, worked away with no fuss and left no mess, explained everything and left me with an independent radon test to perform and send away at my own convienenience. The radon levels in our basement went from over 7 to under 1 ... Basically the air quality with regard to radon is the same now in our basement as it is outside. Overall, I am very happy that I chose to go with Radon Rid LLC and would use them again if the need ever arises.

Everything went smoothly. Marc arrived on time not only for the estimate but also for the installation. Sometimes when shopping for something, price shouldn't be the only factor, and this was one experience that reminded us of that fact. I had a few friends suggest others who were in the $600 range, but I would rather give the business to someone I feel an instant level of trust with and know I could call in 6 months with questions...and get a quick, helpful response back! Marc's a great guy, and I would absolutely (and will) recommend him to others.

It was the first time we had used them. He located where the radon was coming from and got rid of it. He was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with and listened to our needs. He was really careful working around the house.

Overall I was pleased. I only wish that the fan they put on the outside of the house wasn't right next to our deck! Everytime we go outside to sit on the deck (which is often) I hear the sound of the fan when really I prefer to just hear nature sounds. I think this will also affect the resale of the house. The radon levels are good, yay!

The installer, a very personable young man, arrived on time and installed the pump quickly. He checked to make sure it was working properly and gave me a Radon Test kit to verify that the system was still working properly. It was. They did a good job for a reasonable price and dealing with the company was a pleasure.

Radon-Rid had one of the best prices and Mark was responsive and helpful each step of the way. I had a number of questions and Mark answered them all. He never tried to pressure us into the decision as some others did. We're pleased with the system and it seems to be working great.

We bought an older home in town and the radon testing performed during the inspection process yielded high results. The sellers were moving out of state before any remediation could take place so they got a quote from Radon-Rid and reimbursed us that amount at closing. When we called Radon-Rid to schedule the remediation Marc answered all of the questions we had about the work that would be done. He explained installation process and how the system would work. We were comfortable with the information so we scheduled the remediation with Radon-Rid. On the day of installation Marc and his crew showed up on time and worked very efficiently. The area of the basement where they were working was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Once the system was in place we got a detailed walk-through of how it works, what to look for to ensure proper operation, and numbers to call if we ever had questions. We were a little nervous about the continuously running fan but like Marc explained, it really is "whisper quiet" and has barely made an impact on our electric bill. I should mention that besides the top notch service and professionalism, the remediation system is certainly doing it's job. Original radon levels were over 6 pCi/l. Post mitigation they are just over 2 pCi/l. Fast-forward a few weeks. We have a buyer for the house we are selling just outside of town. Radon testing during the home inspection yielded high results which need to be addressed as a contingency of the sale. Without even considering anyone else, we called Radon-Rid. I'm confident we'lll be able to post another stellar review for Marc and his team once this job is complete.
