Revise Studio

Our ordeal with revise studio has lasted several years. It's too long of a story to share here. However, we are still dealing with the repercussions of their negligence. We have a leak in our bedroom and right below it in our dining room. We've had it assessed and it seems to be from improperly installed siding on brand-new construction, which will now need to be removed and reinstalled. We also had to get the deck they built fixed because they neglected several steps that were also contributing to the leaks. We had to pay for mold remediation services that revealed extensive mold damage behind the walls. My autistic son who has asthma and I became sick with respiratory infections and ear infections. Revise Studio refuses to take responsibility and have accused us of taking advantage of them. However, we regret none of our actions. We were never unreasonable. In fact, we've had several other contractors come out since then to help us with the mess Revise left behind, and they can attest to the way we are as people. We do not understand why we were treated this way but all we can do is do our best to move on. We are a household on one public school teacher's income, trying to make it work. What we expected was clear communication, reasonable timelines, and good workmanship. It soon became evident every time they didn't take responsibility, every time they gaslit us for our frustration and confusion, every time they were careless with our property and safety, they communicated through their actions that we did not matter. The worst part is that none of it was necessary. And they had multiple opportunities to make it right

Ben completely rehabbed a 100 year old apt into a beautiful dream apt. I gave him a list of many jobs i needed done. I would update the list every couple days as things were added. The list would say things like install light fixture or repair damaged drywall. He handled everything. He is very timely and reliable, showing up each day.if there was something he was not comfortable doing (rewiring a three way light switch) he would tell me, although he could handle many different activities. Our kitchen is beautiful with a lovely glass tile mosaic backsplash (very even work) The walls and floors are pristine, new faucet fixtures , bathroom has stone tile work He repaired old built in cabinets to get them functional. I most loved fixes he would suggest which saved me from buying something new and ultimately looking better and saving expense.
