Rafferty roofing came out immediately to give an estimate & within one week we had both house and garage roofs done. The owner and his workers we're both courteous very nice and professional. I referred them to four different neighbors and they all used them and are as happy as we are. I highly recommend Rafferty roofing!

My husband and I recently bought our first home. After 10 months we noticed our roof was leaking. Being new to the neighborhood we asked around for recommendations on roofers. After calling a few, Rafferty roofing respond very quickly and had a guy come out to give us an estimate the next morning. Needless to say we needed a leak fixed and a coating on the roof. Within a few days the guys had the job all done for what we thought was a very reasonable price. I was so impressed with their timing and professionalism. The 2 gentleman that fixed our roof were very nice and treated us with respect. We highly recommend Rafferty roofing!!!!!

My wife hired Rafferty Roofing to repair our three roofs. They provided her with no scope of work to be performed or material specs to be used, instead promising only to provide one when the work was completed. There was no contract, no written estimate, no written guarantee, nothing. He wrote the price on the back of his business card and gave it to my wife. They do not list any business address on business cards or on their internet site, which is telling. On the first porch roof, they replaced some of the existing planking with cheap plywood, mismatching the wood & ruining the appearance of the underside. They also tarred two courses of bricks on the house above the porch (which were not leaking and required no tar). Lastly, they cut the roof deck incorrectly (by their own admission) necessitating a new gutter. When we asked questions about the balance of the work, and asked a 40+ year roofing estimator to confer on the job so we would be comfortable that the flat repairs would work, the owner pushed back insisting that no one 'critiques their work'. He said, "I am the roofer" to my wife, and "nobody critiques my work" When I, the homeowner, personally asked to speak to owner Jack Rafferty about what work he was planning to do, he pulled his crew off the job, took his materials, and cursed us. They did not finish the work, they did not leave materials we were entitled to by virtue of our down payment, they have no refunded money owed to us, and the owner personally made insulting comments to me, my family, and my father-in-law in public - all before ever letting me speak, ask about the work to be performed, or find out why he was pulling off the job. We live in NE Philadelphia. We are very frustrated and sorry about our choice to use Rafferty Roofing, and we do not want to see another family go thru the same thing as we did with them. Homeowners DO have a say in any repairs they undertake on THEIR home. There are a great many roofing companies in the Northeast Philadelphia area and across the country. Choose one that works with you and provides documentation and backup for their work. Do not use Rafferty Roofing.

It went well. The price was great! Would also have liked an invoice prior to work not after it was done but he kept price the same even if they realized more needed to be done. The price was set and I liked that part.

They were good. They were fast. It did leak again after that, and they came right out. It hasn't leaked since.
