NEBP only deals with the trade. However, my contractor sent me in to look at doors. We had a unique situation where another contractor ordered the wrong size door. We needed to replace the door and my contractor was not going to charge me anything extra.
NEBP policy is to give no info unless you are a contractor. I can understand this but they would give no info over the phone. I asked the Customer Service manager, Scott, simply if the price of the door would be comparable and he refused to answer me or my contractor. I only wanted to be sure I had the right amount of money.
My contractor and I went in together to purchase the door and Scott helped us. He was rude and crude. Walked away from us several times without saying where he was going or what the outcome would be.
He was rude again when my contractor picked up the window. It took 2 hours for someone to load the door in his truck.
I'd find somewhere else to buy windows.
