After almost 10 years, the thermal seal on a large window failed. Although this is probably a manufacture’s issue, I contacted Kenny S at Mr. Contractor since they did the installation. Kenny handled the problem without any pushback, and a new window was installed today - within a month of initially contacting Mr. Contractor. Customer service at its best.

The Mr. Contractor team is by far the most responsive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable we have ever worked with - and we have worked with many contractors throughout our years of home ownership. Mr. Contractor has completed several projects for our home, many of which were very complicated while we were living here. They were completed on time and on budget. We were given updates every day, they asked our opinions on how to handle certain aspects of the jobs, and when issues arose (which they always will in any project, with any contractor) they addressed them professionally and quickly. You don’t have to worry about a revolving door of subcontractors overseeing your projects. It’s always the same respectful, professional crew. They truly care about their work and their customers, and it shows. Can’t recommend these folks enough. They’ve been in the home improvement business for over 70 years and once you work with them, you’ll understand why.

Kenny and his team transformed our "builder grade" bathroom into dream bathroom enabling us to enjoy it for many years to come. His team worked well with each other as they have been a team for many years. Kenny helped us pick out the tile and flooring we needed and had a good eye for design. All his suggestions were perfect as he has been doing this for a long time. They crews always arrived on time and were respectful of our home. The workmanship they all possessed was amazing. It was the best choice for us and we are more than happy.

The work went as planned, on time, was thorough, and of high quality. I would recommend without hesitation! Ken is outstanding, responsive, and great at communicating to staff and clients. They gutted the kitchen, added electrical, and performed the work on time, as promised, during a busy time of year (and a pandemic!). They replaced old beams, installed new flooring and walls, replaced window frame, painted, and added electrical, new cabinets and countertops. They worked in a very small space; while house is about 825 square feet! I included a “before” and some “after shots” and could not be happier with my new kitchen. Everyone at Mr. Contractor was respectful and did great work.

I felt that they were serious about solving my problem and making sure I was happy with the results. The work they did actually looks better as more time goes by. I notice more of the details that really improve on what we started with. They thought of improvements I had not even considered. I really got more than I bargained for. That is a rare thing. My family had a vision to build a modern electric fireplace with mounted tv in our living room and basement. We called several contractors with no response back or not interested in our project. I stumbled upon Mr. Contractor in a google search around my neighborhood. I left a message and it was returned within 48 hours. Kenny talked briefly with me about what I was looking to accomplish, met me in person to discuss the details, and promptly provided a price with timeline. Mr. Contractor provided excellent communication throughout the process. His framing crew worked effectively and efficiently with respect to my home and family. Thank you to Rob, Alex, and the whole team. After framing was complete Nick and his team completed the electrical portion of the project within hours with the same care for my home, We chose to tile the framing and Isaac did a fantastic job. His patience and precision were notable. Rob, Alex, and the team came back to finish the mantel/TV mount, cleaned up my entire house, and left no loose ends. My expectations were far exceeded, my new fireplace and tv have become a focal point of the space, and I am completely satisfied. Mr. Contractor won’t be the cheapest or the most expensive in the market, but their value for craftsmanship, communication, respect, and personality is embedded in the company culture thus worth the price. I will certainly use them for more improvements and highly recommend their services.

As first-time home buyers tackling a major kitchen and bath remodel, we feel very lucky to have worked with Ken and his team. The entire Mr. Contractor crew was communicative, responsive, and professional. They had the know-how and practical experience to transform our vague taste and one single architectural sketch-up into a gorgeous, spa-like bathroom and functional, spacious kitchen. We love our home. Even better, they bought a lot of experience working in Philadelphia rowhomes. This meant that they knew how to respond—without blowing the budget!—when they ran into unexpected snags like an extra electric sub-panel or wood rot in the walls. Their subcontractors were also excellent. We are delighted with our new kitchen and bathroom, and know that we'll be enjoying the benefits of this investment for a long time.

The firm came highly recommended because a family member had used it for a renovation project. Concrete Pouring and Repair, Chimney Cap Service
I used Mr Contractor in 2017 for a back wall stucco nightmare and they went above and beyond, so I called them again when my sidewalk needed repair and they did not disappoint. They removed the old concrete, cleaned out the tree roots and debris (the cause of the issue) that an old contractor had left behind and poured the new sidewalk. They were thorough with great attention to detail. Beautiful work by their finisher. I highly recommend Mr Contractor.

When a big chimney collapsed on my house, my first call was to 911. One of the next was to Mr. Contractor. My house wouldn’t still be here if it wasn’t for his expertise, crew and persistence—roofing, floors, plumbing, structural engineering, carpenters, painters, masons, electrical, heating and more. Ken Spector was always in touch. He always returned phone calls and answered every concern. Absolutely outstanding service and work.

My job required many different kinds of work so it was necessary to go with a full service contracting company. I admit to being a little nervous working with a large company versus small but it worked out beautifully. Ken coordinated everything and keep me well informed. Everyone was kind, courteous, and left my home clean. All jobs were done well and completely to my satisfaction. Shortages of building supplies was a bit of an issue but everything got accomplished and in some instances better than my original plan. My complements and thanks to all those at Mr. Contractor who were involved with my project. I will recommend Mr. Contractor without hesitation.

Ken and his staff were very easy to work with, especially during COVID times. His staff was very professional and treated our home and renovation like it was their own. They took pride in their work and made sure WE were happy with their work. We are very particular people. Ken honored his word throughout the process and ultimately did everything he said he would do!!!! Ken helped us to upgrade and modernize our basement/family room, and we have received awesome compliments from others about it. We now have a beautiful room that works and flows together. The previously renovated room had a built in wall unit on one side of the room and a fireplace on another wall, and so your eyes were constantly moving in all directions. Ken helped to design and install beautiful porcelain tiles around the fireplace and hang a tv above it. We can we now relax to watch tv and enjoy a nice fire at the same time. In addition, Ken installed a new dry bar with beer/wine fridge so that our space can be used for entertaining family and friends. Ken also brought everything together by installing new dry wall and flooring. We have already recommended Ken and his crew to family members!!!
