Mambo Movers

They were late arriving, but started right in and worked steadily through a long day in the rain. They were careful and polite, and I thought they were honest about the time they took off the clock for lunch. As far as I can tell, nothing was broken during the move, and I was tired but happy at the end of the day.

The entire time, the movers were professional, polite and caring. They worked very hard because many of the larger pieces of furniture had to be moved up a narrow staircase. (No nicks or scrapes on the walls or furniture!) Needless to say, I thought the movers did a remarkable job.

They were more than 2 hrs late arriving and without a phone call to let me know. Because of the delay, we had to travel through a terrible storm on the 2 hr drive to the new place. Luckily, when we arrived, it had mostly stopped raining so the unloading was dry except for the last pieces when the skies opened up again. Other than the tardiness, I was happy with the move.

They did a good job. It was three guys. It was very professional. They did a very quick job. Everything about it was very reasonable.

I was very satisfied with the job they did. They were very nice and worked quickly. They did a nice job taking care of furniture and boxes. I would recommend them. There was a minor communication problem, but we resolved it.

We moved on a rainy day, so after calling, the 3-person Mambo team arrived about 60 minutes later, after the worst of the rain. This was a good decision, because it stopped raining and then the sun came out for the rest of the day. They worked hard from about 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. before finishing. And while there were some nicks to furniture and walls here and there, I thought they did a very good job under difficult circumstances. They even moved a small piano (at an extra hour's charge), because it was only going one level. I've heard horror stories from other people about movers not showing up or not being courteous when they did. That is not true of Mambo at all. They were good guys to deal with and we were happy enough with their work to tip them generously. By the end of moving day, they become like members of your family.

This company was great to deal with. I called national moving companies and got a lot of rules and reasons they could not do a small job. Mambo allowed us to arrange the job as we needed and estimated fairly for time and travel.

EASY!!! No problem with scheduling a move for Memorial Day and no extra charge. The guys showed up on time, in spite of having to dodge the parades. They were careful, courteous, actually and downright nice. Nothing got busted. I came out with more time and money left than I budgeted for.

Mambo really helped me out. I needed just a few pieces moved out of my mother's apartment in NYC back to my apartment in Philly within a specific period of time. We did some negotiating and they were able to accommodate me. While some people might be upset in Mambo's scheduling, I have used them twice before and just love their honesty upfront. They do 2 jobs a day, and the second one of the day occurs based on how long the first one took. They called, let me know and we finished up late. My landlady made the guys coffee and cookies for which they were very greatful. The guys just have great personalities! They will figure out how to move anything and while working, just move on through until they finish. I would never move myself again as long as they exist. I hope they just go on being Mambo because they probably could get much bigger if they wanted.

These guys are very pleasant and quick. The apartment was cleared out before we knew it, they wasted no time getting to the new location (important since they charge by the hour) and they promptly unloaded everything. Everything was handled with care. I had to move my daughter the prior year and used another firm for the move. There was no comparison to how good Mambo Movers operated.

They did an excellent job! They were quick, and they didn't complain about moving in the rain.

Peter, Todd and Lawrence helped me to move a household of furniture and boxes for my family and did an amazing job! They called about 45 minutes before the arrival time for driving directions and arrived on time. All 3 young men were polite, helpful and courteous. They were patient and careful with our belongings. The weather was not nice-it sleeted and rained off and on all day, but there was never a complaint, they just continued doing their job. They helped to make an extremely stressful and difficult situation much easier for me to deal with. I would highly recommend Mambo Movers to anyone who is thinking of moving. I am a Realtor and I will pass their name on to as many people as I can.

Ross, Todd and Pierce were the enterprising young men who showed up at our doorstep. They called an hour before they arrived and were extremely polite and after a quick assessment they got to work right away. They took great care to handle all our stuff from 2 bedrooms 1 dining and a living room including very heavy armories and sleeper sofas and queen beds.there were close to 40 boxes as well. They even picked up boxes from nearby storage site. They reassembled everything at our new home and caused no damage. They were always courteous and friendly and they did not waste any time at all. A great experience.

A completely wonderful experience. Mambo Movers arrived right on time, immediately got to work and moved me from a 3rd floor walk up with very narrow stairs in record time. The movers were friendly, patient and very careful with my belongings. I would recommend them highly to anyone who is considering a move!

Everything went well. Chris, who answered the phone, was helpful with planning information and their website is very clever.

We scheduled our move three weeks in advance, but because we had purchased a new construction home our closing/settlement date was changed due to delays. We were able to reschedule our moving date with less than a week before settlement. Once the date was finalized we scheduled a PM move which we were told could mean that they would show up anywhere between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The day of the move the driver called at 1:30 p.m. to let us know they would be there in about one hour. They showed up at 3:20 p.m., said it was probably going to take about six hours and got to work right away. They did a great job packing the truck and getting everything out of our old place. There were a few things they couldn't fit into their truck that they helped us carry down and put into our own cars. We had NO damage to any of our belongings and only two very minor scratches on the stair case of our new place. They were finished in seven hours.

We have used them twice for moving and both times we were really satisfied.

They were excellent had to change move date and they were willing to accommodate that. Had to walk down a spiral step took 2 1/2 hours for the move.

These guys were fantastic. When the couch didn't fit through the TV room door, they engineered a way to bring it in the window. They were quick, but took the time to make sure things happened the way we wanted them to. Totally nice, totally efficient, totally reasonably priced!

Mambo was great. WE heard about them from our friends. They had a positive experience and so too did we. We are happy to report this company worked so fast to get the job done. Furthermore, they were careful with our items, the employees were great to work with, they were organized, and our things were moved with care and grace. We would absolutely recommend this great company to other people. From the prices to the level of care, they are wonderful.
