He first worked on the shingles, had the garage reframed. He installed a used window frame that was not installed properly, so the window locks don't meet. A wall in the same room was leaking, he removed the wall, insulation and everything, and allegedly removed mold, however the wall started to leak again, back to what it was before. In the office, he installed a new window frame, wanted is coming out tough the window. Underneath the window cell, he put a lot of spackle and shaped it to look like a window cell in the same room there is a smaller window at the side, there was a leak that needed to be repaired, he allegedly repaired it but its leaking again There was a crack in the wall that was not fixed, only spackled over. Nothing was measured properly, he is not taking my calls anymore. everything he did went wrong, and I could shave off the work that he did on the shingles, but I don't have any way of knowing if that work is going to last. The above review was submitted a year ago and Brett Lasty has decided not to return any of my phone calls or any money that he agree to pay me back for the poor work that he provided on my house. I would like Mr. lasty to call me back but I don't see that being possible and he seems to me to be very dishonest. So I would recommend not using Lafty Brothers for any work in your house. Over all cost of service is over 11,000 and I requested 3,100 for a refund.

These guys were great. The repairs tho curling's in bed room and luck we're great. They did a terrific job of matching the paint on walls and ceiling. You can't tell there was ever any water damage. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend!

Bret was quick to respond. He was able to come out within a few days. It’s hard to get paintings positioned just right, but he patiently took my input. He even re-adjusted two that weren’t exactly how I wanted them. Excellent handyman!

Work started on time and everything went well. the work completed in less than a day. Bret did have to come back to paint the bathroom ceiling since the spackle had to dry overnight. This actually was the 2nd time I used Bret and his brother since I was happy with the work they did back in October 2022.

It went great. Brett showed up when he said he would and immediately went to work as agreed. Any parts or supplies that I forgot to purchase Bret Supplied and did not increase his price. I even called him back a few days later to do other small tasks that came up as I was repairing an apartment for rental. I recommend Bret since he was very easy to work with and was flexible with most methods of payment. I recommend Bret and will definitely use him again with other apartments I own.

Things went well. Brett & Shane were able to get out and take care of several things for me. I needed to complete the scraping and painting of outside rails, fill cracks in concrete steps and repaint patio. These jobs were completed. I also got my questions addressed regarding other projects. Cost was reasonable.

Everything went well. A lot of time was spent making sure the job was done well. He even returned the next day to fix something that he saw was an issue while fixing my initial issue. Would definitely hire again!

Spoke to Bret who advised that he would come by to clear the clog., he used a short snake to try and clear out the clog.. with water still standing in the sink, he sealed the pipe with a sealant provided and said that the standing water would go down in a few. He spent roughly an one hour and half mostly talking and suggested that the water company be called. He was paid $120. Leaving the standing water in the sink

"spent 90 minutes dismantling the trap and a broken drain. I snaked the drain with a 25 foot snake. I never mentioned the water department. I hooked onto something about 17 feet down it was full of black oil and I was not able to pull this obstruction up. The resident had someone there before me. The resident told me he had dumped full bottles of draino down the sink and plunged to the point that broke the drain loose from the sink, that I fixed for the resident. The woman that put in the complaint was never at the property. They need to snake the drain with a cutter blade from the curb trap . The 90 minutes I spent there I fixed the broken drain and did everything I could do to fix their drain problem. The 120 dollars I received was a very fair price. I was asked to help with a simple clogg in the kitchen sink trap. I was never told about another person trying told about another repair guy trying to unclog the drain but failed. There is a serious obstruction in their plumbing system. The woman that hired me is being unreasonable and I can't do anything more. Her story was not true."
