John Roccia is a consumate professional. He did everything that he said he would do, when he said he would do it. It was a pleasure to work with him. I will go to him for any roofing concerns that I have in the future.

Mr. Rocchia is fantastic. He was responsive, complete and did exactely what he said he was going to do; exactely when he said he was going to do it. His estimate was beyond fair. We had 4 different estimates and his way not the lowest but not the highest. We have more work that needs to be done over the next few years and I will never use another roofer- these guys were fantastic. They come recommended without hesitation.

We could not be happier with John. He is a very nice honest man. We asked him to install a new roof we just assumed we needed one because it had been a number of years. John could have simpy done what we asked but instead he told us it did not need to be replaced. It just needed some repairs. He saved us a lot of money and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend him.

Everthing went great. These gentlemen were craftsmen....that's the best thing I can say about them, From start to finish. They laid out tarps under wherever they worked....covered all our plants and bushes. Cleaned up as they went along. They were very meticulous in the job they did, from the shingles to the flashing, everything had to be perfect. When they left the only way you knew they were there was the beautiful work they did on our home.

Each time he came out he found the problems that were the leaks and said I did not need a new roof. He was very honest each time and I was very happy his services.

I was favorably impressed with John Roccia at the time of the his estimate. His explanations of what needed to be done were were detailed and clear. I appreciated his recommendation for new skylights and his explanations of the pros and cons regarding the brands that are available. He sent me a written contract detailing the work to be done and the price. He called six days in advance of doing the work. On that day he and his assistant arrived promptly, did the work and cleaned up after themselves. Before he left, John explained how to operate the skylights.

John was very professional and easy to talk to when I explained that I was selling the house and was not looking for a deluxe package. His estimate was lower than others I received. Work was done right on schedule and John provided certification of work done with 2 year warranty, even made it transferable to new owners.

It's an exceptional joy whenever a contractor lives up to his tagline. Roccia's tagline: "Honest roofer." To that I'd add "superb craftsman." Our roof leaked in several places. A large roofing company's commissioned estimator told us that we definitely needed an entire new "rubber" roof costing $4680. John not only inspected our outside roof but also inside the house. He concluded we only needed to replace the dormer's roof. On the date he gave me, four men (including John working alongside them) arrived in the early morn and worked until about 7:30 p.m. All the dormer's roof sheeting had to be removed. I saw some of the soaked, rotted wood as it was placed on the truck. John explained that it was "composite board" and not plywood as he uses. The previous disintegrates when wet. He also removed the soaked insultation and properly placed the remainder so there was proper air space between it and the roof. There was other work done, including siding and finishing to the large chimney. His attention to detail was extraordinary.

Had a leaking roof causing damage to the interior wall. John was very helpful and came out shortly after we contacted him. He immediately found the source of our leak, as well as giving us general advice about things that we should get fixed to prevent future leaks. He was here when expected and even came out a week early to "patch things up" until he could get here for full job because we were expecting rain. Also willing to come back and look again when we had questions. Overall a great experience and appreciated his help!

work completed on March 16th, 2010 Yes, I would hire again and I've recommended Roccia's Roofing to all my family, neighbors and friends. Home was built in 1959. Price was in line with other estimates we received and our roof ins no longer leaking. Outstanding job.

John was fantastic. I called him on Sunday morning at 8am with an emergency, he was at my house by 9:30am. He was very respectful and listened to what I had to say. He came back on Tuesday (after the rain had stopped) to inspect the leak while I was at work and once completed, he called me to let me know the situation. I completely trust his expertise as he was able to give me some great advice. I asked him to write a report of his findings, and he said without hesitation that he would. Because the roof leak was not the fault of my house, he was kind enough to not charge me for the consult. I would definitely use him in the future and I would definitely recommend him to my friends. He's such a nice guy and you can tell that he truly cares for his customers.

During the big snow storm melt we discovered a leak into the bedroom. I call John Roccia's Family Roofing and received a prompt call back. They set up an appointment to come check out the leak, showed up on time, and explained the cause. After fixing it they said I don't owe them until its verified to no longer be leaking. We received some more snow that weekend and the ceiling has remained dry. The cost was reasonable and I would definitely use them for any future roofing work.

We were very pleased so far. We called other roofers who said they would have to take off the entire roof, which meant taking a deck off. He said he thought there was something minor he could do and he didn't even want us to pay him until he was sure that he had solved the problem. We are not sure that the leak is fixed but he will come back if it is not. It took him a while to get here but we did have terrible weather.

John Rocchia was prompt; extremely friendly, and completely honest and forthright. His website address does not lie. The price was great, and the quality of workmanship was excellent; I would call it pride of craftsmanship. I would highly recommend him to anyone; we chose him because he was a roofer; not a jack of all trades, as so many roofing companies are.

Couldn't be better. He did not want to be paid until I was satisfied the leak was fixed - I really was impressed.

I told him I wanted him to look at my roof and see if any work was needed and said I might want a coating. He called me and told me how much he'd charge. I then decided I didn't want a coating and he faxed me what he'd charge to do just the repairs and give me a warranty. I made some changes in what he faxed me and called him to ask what his fax number was so I could fax the contract with the changes I made. He didn't respond. I then decided to mail him the contract with the changes, A week later, I received a new contract from him incorporating some of the changes I made. I signed it and sent it to him. He called and said he'd received it and told me when he'd fix the roof. He then called me a week sooner than I expected and told me the work was done.

He came in and took a look at my roof. In the rafters, there had been insulation at one point. He let me know the previous owners probably put up the insulation but did not put a moisture barrier up. He explained that there was not a problem, I'm just dealing with the end result of this. He cleaned out the gutters and let me know they were all clean. He caulked the stucco and it has been fixed ever since. He has been very honest and never taken advantage of me. He is a very kind individual and certainly seems to know his business.

I called John and we set an appointment for him to come out. He called to confirm the day before and arrived on time. He gave a written estimate. We scheduled a day for the work, but unfortunately weather made another job run late...he called early to let me know that he anticipated arriving later than expected. He arrived at the new time on-the-dot. The work was completed on time and on price. John will not take money before the job is finished; he is that confident of his work. He is professional AND does great work...a combination that is hard to find in this city! I wouldn't consider calling anyone else for roofing...I trust him to do great work.

John is very conscientious about his work and does an excellent job! He came to the property several times to make sure the job was done as agreed upon and all of the details were completed. I have used John's services before and find his work very satisfactory. John is a pleasure to work with. I recommend him highly as a very knowledgeable and competent roofer at fair prices. A company you can trust!

He was there on time. They worked around our schedules which was nice. They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time for us. The guy was pleasant and he explained the process. He really pays attention to detail.
