Jeff Havens

Jeff arrived when he said he would, worked the entire time he was here, and left the bathroom spotless at the end of the job. A less honest contractor might have talked us into replacing ALL of the grout, but Jeff pointed out the places where the grout was perfectly fine and the places where it wasn't, and he replaced only the stained or broken grout (so perfectly that you couldn't tell the difference between the old grout and the new!). Jeff is also extremely friendly and personable, and easy and fun to talk with. His business card states that he is insured, but Jeff spoke with pride of the number of customers who had no problem giving him keys to their houses while he was working on projects there, and we would have no hesitation in doing the same. He obviously cares greatly about the quality of his work and his business reputation. Jeff clearly knows what he's doing and how things should work. He diagnosed several other minor problems we were having around the house, like malfunctioning shower doors in our daughter's bathroom, a dripping faucet in the kitchen, and a broken towel bar in our son's bathroom. In a few cases, he suggested a do-it-yourself fix -- not because he didn't want the job, but to save us some money. On one large project we asked about, he kept giving us ideas for reducing the cost of the materials while still producing an attractive finished product. We can't say enough about Jeff both personally and professionally, and we are already looking forward to working with him again!
