Home Depot - Philadelphia

I needed a storm door for the front of my home and a security door for the back. After reaching out to several independent contractors who either didn't get back to me or didn't convince me of their competence, I went to Home Depot. I started with the one on Columbus Blvd in South Philly, but after that store failed to follow through, I went to the one of Oregon Ave. The associate there who coordinated door installations was very nice and organized. She helped me pick out the doors I wanted, and then she scheduled the in-home visit from the subcontractor who took measurements. That same subcontractor returned a few weeks later to do the door installations. I paid a little more than I would have with an independent contractor, but since I was struggling to find one who was available and competent, I'm okay with what I paid. Home Depot can't disappear like an indie contractor can. And, the subcontractor they sent to my house was really good and friendly (although based on reviews I've read elsewhere, it seems like that isn't always the case, so I may have lucked out this time around).

They were very prompt, on time, and did good work.  They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves.  The workers themselves were also very pleasant.  I would highly recommend them.
