It went wonderfullly. originally purchased a deal for wallpaper removal which they performed previously. At that time I asked Matt for a quote to paint the woodwork and ceilings in the rooms where he removed the wallpaper. I then scheduled their return visit for painting. They arrived on time and provided all their own materials. They are a very personable hard working group. They take care to move any furniture and cover it with plastic. Matt contacted me a few days before the job to double check what I expected to be done and also contacted me after the job to make sure we were satisfied. All in all it was easy and comfortable and everything looks great. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.

This was an exterior job and the recent rainy weather caused us to delay the job a few times. I was so impressed that Matt would not wait until the weekend was over to start the job. Ken arrived early Sunday morning on Memorial weekend to get the job done. We have old Bilco basement doors that were in bad shape and probably not painted in 20 years. Once again, a beautiful job. Ken scraped, primed and painted the doors. Now my ugly white doors are great looking satin black. I highly recommend MRP Painting. Thanks Matt and Ken.

They were very responsive in setting an appointment as soon as I called, called the day prior to confirm, arrived on time, and completed the job within the timeframe.  I had friends tell me that they would probably take longer and try to charge more money; however, as I anticipated, they are just trying to build their business.  I will definitely use them again!

Matt's team was every bit as thorough and professional.  They worked hard and were strict perfectionists.  They took their time to do things right and never rushed the job. They covered all the furniture to keep it free of dust and paint.  They cleaned up perfectly every day, even when the spackling and sanding were going on  full speed ahead.  The were friendly and respectful of both the surroundings and our needs.  They performed  extra tasks  for me like caulking, and  took down a full wall of mirrors and carted it away at no extra charge.  Upon completion, the job was outstanding.  Not a single  brush stroke, not a spot of paint out of place.  Everything spotlessly clean.  Expert work done efficiently and at a fair price.  A great team of guys, doing a great job at a fair price.  When they finished, it was tough to say good-bye and see them go.   I highly recommend MRP Painting, especially for big jobs like ours..

Wow! That wraps it up. Matt is wonderful to work with and the most professional young business owner I have had the opportunity to meet in a long time. No he is not related to me - I am just so pleased with the work he did in our home and want to give him the kuddos deserved.
We contacted him along with 2 other painting contractors. We wanted our main level, stairway and upper hallway painted. We also wanted to add trim in our living room and dining room. Each contractor could recommend someone for the wood work and we also interviewed them and got a quote. There was no comparison. Matt along with his Uncle Bill and Bill's associate Jeff provided top notch work that was on time and within budget. As the project evolved, they were more than willing to do anything that I asked which included additional molding and helping me find a stone replacement for a half wall topper.
This was a refreshing experience in today's environment of sub-par work for top-shelf prices!
Matt responds to your inquiries quickly and is very helpful with product choice and color choice. My home looks amazing and I am so happy with our choice of MRP Painting!

Very well.  Matt and his crew are excellent painters, and they're not afraid to tackle difficult wallpaper removal projects.  They fixed a mess that our kitchen contractor left, at a reasonable price.  They're diligent, cleanup when they're done leaving little trace of having been there, they deal with the dog with no complaints, and even set the alarm when they leave.
Quote for the more extensive plaster repairs in the hallway pushed me over my budget, so deferring/thinking of doing it myself.
Quote for exterior stucco painting on new addition also beyond budget, may do myself.  Matt isn't expensive, I just bit off more than I hoped to so couldn't do it all this time around.

They arrive exactly on time, explained the entire process and got to work. When they were nearing the time limit for the deal they let us know and asked if they should stop or continue, we had them continue. In the end they removed paper from our living room, dining room, stairs and hall. They cover all surfaces they are not working on with plastic and place all trash and removed paper in trash bags they brought. All in all they are very nice, very professional and we will be hiring them to paint our woodwork and ceilings in the rooms they worked in.

Started with big deal for wallpaper removal.  Process went so well, that we asked for estimate for prepping and painting kitchen, living room and hallway.  Ken and Dan did an amazing job, especially with an area of our kitchen that needed a lot of TLC for prep work.  They helped with paint selection, handled themselves professionally, and exceeded every expectation we had for the job.  

I can't wait to see them come back, so I can get two more rooms finished!!  :-)

Matt, came by on time and was incredibly professional. Unlike any other painter I have had in, he refused payment until the job was complete and I was satisfied with the work. That being said he provided me with options to complete the job. He knew I had just had my carpets cleaned so he made sure he and his crew were very careful with where they walked and how they painted. The walls came out flawless. I will use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was extremely pleased to use MRP painting for the second time.  This time I used MRP painting for my new insurance office.  They were able to come out on short notice and have the painting job done exactly when I needed it done - because it could not be painted during business hours. I left them with a key to my office and the office was exactly has I had left it, there was no clean up after the job was finished.  I was able to get back to to setting my office up first thing Monday morning.  The walls look amazing and have had so many people compliment the office this week on how great the it looks with the new paint job.  

MRP painting was so easy and accomodating to work with.  I would highly recommend MRP Painting and will definately use them again in the future.

I responded to an Angie's List coupon offer and Matt was very professional about calling me the same day and  scheduling and handling my job quickly.  It was not only very happy about the quality of his work, but Matt was in contact with me to offer me an earlier date than originally scheduled (due to a cancellation he had).  He was incredibly prompt - even though he agreed to a 7 AM start-time.  Not only did he arrive with all necessary equipment but he carried out the job of wallpaper removal very quickly, cleaning up completely when the job was done, and taking the trash with him.  I was so satisfied with his work (and work ethic) that I hired him to come back and and paint the walls from which he had removed the paper.  The final stage of the work was completely today - to my complete satisfaction.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt to anyone as my experience was totally positive.

I contacted MRP Painting through Angie's List for the $99.00 wallpaper removal special. Matt arrived on time, was extremely professional and removed the wallpaper from my old plaster walls expertly. I was so impressed I hired him to paint the room. I'm very glad I did. He did a beautiful job, above and beyond what I expected. Matt told me it would be a two-day job. He spent one day preparing the walls and woodwork (neither were in good condition). The next day he completed the job. Matt also included the wall paint and woodwork paint in his price. He also helped me choose the right type of paint for the job. I already have him scheduled to do more rooms in my home. I highly recommend MRP Painting Services.

This was 2nd phase of work being perfomed in a number of phases, to accommodate schedules and financing.  Matt, the owner, works with 1-2 excellent helpers.  One helper did most of the work on this phase, but Matt checked on the work and ensured all specifications were met.  There was attention to detail and an attempt to resolve the many imperfections that come with an old house 0ver time.  I have full trust in the integrity of these individuals and even gave them my house keys so they can work when I am not there.

Matt, a true professional, met with me in advance to discuss the work to be done and the number of estimated days and amount.  All expectations were met.  Any and all requests I made were honored.  I am happy with the work and will continue on to the next phase of work.

It went great from start to finish!  Matthew and his brother were right on time and extremely friendly and courteous.  They took an initial look around to get a feel for what needed to be done and then got right to work.  They were very efficient about splitting the work up to keep things moving along, all while engaging in some friendly conversation with me while they worked.  As the job went on, Matthew kept me informed of any new developments or issues, offered his advice but made it clear it was totally my decision.  I felt that his suggestions had my best interest in mind.  

At the end I asked for an estimate for painting services, explaining that we are planning on doing it ourselves, but in case we get too busy I would like an idea of cost.  He went through and not only gave me an estimate, but walked me through and explained how he came to the estimate and even gave me information I would need to know if I try to do it myself.

I run my own business, so I am very in touch with the difficulty of finding hard working, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly people that you can send into someone's home and they can feel safe and confident.  I can tell you that I felt completely comfortable with Matt and his brother, really nice, knowledgeable, hard working guys!
