The house heater wasn't heating the house properly and was intermittently cycling hot and cold air. Since it's about 2 1/2 years old and still under warranty, I called the manufacturer to get the contact information for warranty repair. They referred me to Buzz Duzz. The receptionist at Buzz Duzz was very professional and asked me a few troubleshooting questions. She assured me that a tech would call that afternoon when he was on his way. The tech called early that evening when he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve which he would need to pick-up and replace the next morning. He recommended I turn the thermostat up overnight so the house would be warmer -- and it was. He returned the next morning and completed the work.

"As the owner of the company I would like to respond to this review by saying,back in January 2013 we did Plumbing Heating & A/C work for this customer through a General Contractor, we submitted our bid for the work, the job was accepted from Mr. [removed member name]. We recently got a call from the General Contractor that Mr. [removed member name] would be calling our company for additional plumbing work at this property. We gave him a price of $3,950.00 which detailed (2) days of plumbing work (2) men on job with materials. He called the General Contractor and stated that the quote from Buzz Duzz was to high. He had a handyman that would work for $300.00 a day. I do not think Mr. [removed member name] is looking for a professional company to do the job. We are not the cheapest company and by far not the most expensive company out there. I personally reviewed this estimate that our plumber provided to him and it was more then fair. Enclosing we have all the proper licenses, insurances, workman's compensation and licensed plumbers and service techs. I think Mr. [removed member name] was quick to throw our company under the bus over an estimate."

Service person arrived on time. Provided estimate on repairs and explained it very well. Also remembered working on unit from a prior year. Gave options and reasonable costs. Made prompt repairs once I gave my ok. Explained what he did clearly. Have used them before and was confident with work they do/did.

Simple operation, they performed it effectively. The cost is well below some of the other larger drain places, who want two or three times this price.

I have used them exclusively for HVAC and plumbing services. They have always provided prompt service with experienced professionals and fair prices. Depending on the size of the job many times Buzz personally visits the site and provides advice. This specific work was scheduled and completed on time. The area was left very clean. I highly recommend them!

They dug up the sidewalk with a backhoe, they put a new sewer line in, with a backup storm flap in the event of heavy rains, then they cleaned up the area and were finished in one day. They worked 8am to 3:30pm, with a very short 20 minute lunch break. Every aspect of their work was excellent.

The radiators in our attic were not working so we called for a radiator bleed. The guys came out and showed us how to properly bleed and refill the system. Very polite and efficient.

My tenants had a slow tub drain. Buzz Duzz responded quickly, but stayed long, tore out some of ceiling without notification, and claimed to have remedied the problem. Later, my clients notified me that the drain was still slow and there was no improvement. Buzz Duzz returned to remedy. I'm not sure what they did, but a few days later, I received a call from tenants. Water had been leaking from beneath the tub to the ceiling below it. It leaked so badly that the plaster and the dropped ceiling collapsed and the water ran down the wall to the floor. What a mess!I would never use Buzz Duzz again, as they caused more damage than I had to begin with. I had to hire yet another plumber to remedy the problem.

"i just received this report we have no record of this job aug 1st was a sunday we do not do this type of repair on sundays we r closed we checked back 2 weeks still nothing if this true why the customer did not call back we would have fixed the problem we stand by our work no records of return calls if this happened to me i would have called the company back to fix ."

Came home last week to find the circuit breaker had blown. Tried resetting the breaker and could smell a short so I turned the breaker back off and started making some calls. Buzz Duzz answered right away and scheduled a visit for first thing the next day. Todd, the tech, came out and spent a couple of hours troubleshooting the problem.The capacitor in front of the blower fan had failed, along with the fan itself and the system controller board. Yikes! The system is only a couple of years old and the parts were still under warranty. Todd called back in a couple of days on Monday when the parts had arrived and scheduled for 8:30am on Wednesday to do the work. He called to notify me he was on his way at 8:30am and arrived and completed the work in about 3 hours. He replaced the filters and cleaned up his space. We also discussed some issues with the sizing of some of the duct work and suggested having smaller ducts replaced with properly sized one, which was an issue created by the original system installer and he had some great ideas on how to add an additional 3rd floor return in our 19th century philadelphia row home.I would definitely recommend and use these guys again.

very well, when i called these guys back for my faucets, (they did work before)..they were done in an hour or so, from walk in to cleanup...so i decided to see if they did a/c service...the grass and leaves were all over my thing outside for the a/c...and they couldn't do it cause they were the plumbing crew, but they had a guy out later that same day i think his name was kenny. real nice service guy, and smart too.....so overall good job buzz duzz.

They did all of the work they promised including patching up the wall in the loft they had to break through. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up when they were done. Their technicians were experienced and obviouly knew what they were doing. I had a couple of issues with the unit afterwards and they were quick to come investigate and fix them. I gave them a B for price since I thought that they were fair and have guaranteed their work. I would definitely use them again.

they had to cut my pavement to repair my water service, they returned today to fix my pavement. and they did a great job and didn't even need me to be home. and i got a new box for my water valve

the guys were polite and clean they washed down my sidewalk when they were done. they wore covers on their shoes when they came in the house. and even thought i had no idea what they were talking about they explained what they did when they were done. i'll let you know how the cement looks when they do it on monday

They did not do what they said they would do and we still have to get them back and pay them more to do more of the work. I am actually frustrated with them. We spent $2000 on that work [NOTE: my wife's initial posting incorrectly stated the cost]. I had to call them for about 2 weeks in order to get them to give us another quote for the work that they have to do. They were supposed to be here at 7 in the morning, but did not come until 8.30, but they were punctual the one time. I called repeatedly and then they finally got back to m UPDATE: owner called and offered to fix the problem at no charge . They completed the work. The issue in the beginning was not the price, but that we had a 100 year old home with unused live gas lines throughout the house. We wanted those lines severed to avoid potential problems in the future. They assured me after they came the first time that all gas lines had been severed, and I began work to cut, cap and cover old exposed pipes. As soon as I cut the first line, gas began escaping from the pipe. Needless to say, I was disappointed: the work they claimed was done was not. Their offer to finish the job at no charge, though, has resolved the situation, and we do appreciate the owner's gesture.

"the only thing in this statement is true we were late i will be faxing the price she pd is 1600.00 not 30000 we gave her 2 ouotes on gas piping in the house i for the basement 1 for dryer 2nd floor for 950.00 then she gave us a bad rating she pd the 1600.00 dollar bill did the job in nov 1 2010 i dont think she is being fair she called back for the 2nd floor job we r doing 2-8-11 not charging her an extra dime how much more fairer can i be"

I had an energy audit done and one of the recommendations was to get my boiler served because it was a higher than normal level of carbon monoxide in the stack pipe. I called them and the owner called me back and we discussed the problem. He sent someone out (I can't remember his name) to complete the work of bleeding radiators, cleaning out stack pipe, and checking the boiler system. The person was professional, not very talkative, but I feel he did a great job, especially for the price. I feel I definitely got my monies worth and my heating system works much better.

It was the first 100 degree day of the year, and the crew worked tirelessly. They were able to complete the project in just one day. When you call the office, you're able to speak with one of the owners (assuming they're in the office). If not, they promptly return all calls. They're also extremely patient with any and all questions. The crew was prompt to the job and were very pleasant to work with. They were careful with the pets in the home, which was appreciated. They kept the work area clean and worked very efficiently. I will certainly call them for any additional work due to my wonderful experience. They're very no-nonsense and complete the work as requested!
