About us
Brinkmann Bros., Inc. started out as a partnership between Henry and William Brinkmann in the 1860's, who provided both roofing and heating services to Philadelphia from a storefront on Frankford Ave. Through five generations,at the same location, the roofing business continued as a partnership and a sole proprietorship. It was incorporated in 1984. (The horse stalls now are storage bins.) We continue to offer our services to Philadelphia, the Main Line and the Suburbs. Slate and copper roofing is our specialty. We roof residences and commercial buildings, including Churches, Synogogues and Schools. We happily furnish references. We diagnose and treat leaks, of course. Much of our slate/copper work involves renovation such as redoing a valley or one side (often the north) of a roof. We install or renovate gutters. Slate roofs add value to a home or building and with a bit of maintenance,a slate roof can continue to give good service.
