Our basement started flooding . We called and they came almost within the hour. They determined where the water was coming in and fixed the problem and we have not had any water in the basement since. They were very thorough and professional. Would definitely recommend! They were great!

This review is way overdue, but better late than never! Basement Gurus did an outstanding job installing a French drain system in our basement in 2021! Our basement had water coming in for years. It was just a damp unusable space. For 3 years now, we have enjoyed a perfectly dry basement. We never dreamed we could actually use our basement for living space, but we have partially finished it to include a playroom for our grandchildren, an artisan room for my husbandâ s food hobbies, and a crafting space for me. I even enjoy doing the laundry now that it is so dry down there! Dan and the crew were very professionals and are experts in their field!

They worked clean and quickly listened to my problems and came up with a plan that we liked. Just waiting for rain to see if my issues went away. The only not a real bad side is new sod should have been installed over trenches for the pipeline for the money we spent most of it died. Their warranty is great 15 years.

Excellent work on French Drain! After a hiccup with stone laying, the issue was corrected and we are very happy with the finished product. Steve is the best! And thank you to Boni and Pedro as well. Great customer service!!

I recently purchased my first home. The day of closing I did a walk-through and had mud and water in my basement. The seller and seller's realtor assured me that water problem in my basement would be resolved in 30 days.. That never happened, In my opinion this was the house from hell. I called 4 companies for estimates, quotes, and a review of my basement. Before leaving John Ford from Basement Gurus last words were Paula, Basement Gurus has your back. John really meant what he said, in fact, John was the only person who called me back after reviewing the basement to find out if I had any questions or if he needed to explain anything to me from the estimate that he wrote up for me. John also gave me his direct phone number and told me to call him anytime. Meanwhile, none of the other companies called me, so for that reason alone I really appreciated that. When John told me do not worry Paula I got your back. He really meant that. I guess the saying is true, it is not what someone says to you But how they made you feel. THE Gurus kept their promise! Thank you so much again, especially you John Ford.... I am so relieved.

We hired Basement Guru?s to install an egress window in our basement. They showed up without the tools to do the job and had to reschedule for a very inconvenient time for us. They did offer a discount when I expressed my disappointment with this. When they did do the job, they damage a nearby wall and gas pipe. They left a huge mess in our basement and unplugged our hot water heater without bothering to tell us or plug it back in. Now I have to repair the wall and pipe. It probably would have been easier and less time consuming for me to install the window myself. I called the owner to discuss my concerns twice. They didn?t answer and after three days, they still haven?t called me back after I left them a voice mail letting them know I had concerns I wanted to discuss. I want to be fair to them, but it is difficult for me to find something they did well.

Contractors did an immaculate job. I am very satisfied. Price was fair. Contractors were on time each day,and left no walls unfinished. Worked until sunlight was gone and even worked pass that time in the rain. Everyone was so nice and understanding from Scheduler Dawn to InspectorJosh,Plumber Lenny,Lorenzo and his Laborers and Electrician. Even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan who came to make sure I was happy with the work. They put me at ease.

My overall experience with Basement Gurus is amazing from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and thorough. Price is the best among the three companies I quoted. Dan Kelly (owner) is personable. He doesn't try to sell you what you don't need. Also, a shout out to Carlos (head crew) and his crew. He was very attentive to detail. Left the work area clean after each day. (They were there for a total of 3 days). I had french drains installed in 2 areas of my basement, and 3 underground sump pumps and 1 above. They were also there to seal the outside of my home where water was coming into the basement. Carlos sealed off all the areas and prepped them where he needed to work. What can I say? I am a very satisfied customer. Oh, did I mention the lifetime warranty on the french drains. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for basement waterproofing services!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!

Basement Gurus arrived to discuss our basement water issue. Dan patiently went over everything and listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. They were impressive in the system they followed and how much work they performed each day and were respectful of us and our property. By the end of the job everything was back in place. We wish the expense wasn't necessary, but felt the price was worth it due to the difficulty, the amount, and the quality of the work. We highly recommend Basement Gurus!!
