They did a great job

We woke up on a Sunday morning to discover our heat wasn't working. We called Aktion Air, hoping they could come on Monday to look at it. He was at our house within one hour that Sunday. Luckily, it was an easy fix -- a wire had come loose. While he was there, he did a check of our whole heating system to make sure it was ready for the winter. Very prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Technician was very nice, prompt, clean and thorough. He explained what was working and installed correctly, as well as what was done incorrectly. He explained what would be required to correct any problems, as well as the cost of installing a completely new system. I was very impressed with his analysis.

We had called several Heating service companies to look at our unit, Most of them said that the fan had died and the entire unit needed
to be replaced at a cost of $3100 or more. They did not bother to really look but just glanced inside the unit.. One even argued that we
should replace our central air conditioning unit along with it at a total cost of $7000 or more, Alex from Aktion Air came by and flipped
a switch and the fan came on. Someone had inadvertently turned off the electrical power to the unit. He peered inside and noted that
the unit was old and we should probably replace it. Some of the gas burners were covered with rust and dust and therefore were not
functioning properly, But the actual root cause of the fan not functioning was due to a switch not being flipped. Alex was honest enough
to tell us the truth and not swindle us. He saved us a great deal of money and if we are to replace the unit in the future we will probably
use his services.

From my first interaction with Alex, the owner, there was nothing but professionalism.He answered my initial call himself and asked all the questions necessary to set up a first appointment. He and his assistant, Tom, arrived on time and went right to work. They spent over an hour in each of the condo's doing a thorough system check and general maintenance (load freon, replace caps, test for leaks). The thorough system check included getting onto the roof of the condo from the outside, 4 stories up, and finding and accessing the exhaust panel for one of the units that did not vent to the roof. At the end of the system check he provided a detailed assessment of the 15+ year old units and proposed a reasonable plan of action. At no time did I feel that he was trying to upsell us or sell us more equipment than we needed. Throughout our time working together he was always very considerate of the other tenants and myself, professional, polite, respectful of our homes. After confering with the other owners we decided to move forward with the plan that Alex proposed. He estimated that it would take one week to get the equipment, arrange for the crane, and to do the removal and replacement work and he provided us with a detailed cost estimate. He came in on time and on estimate! There were several surprises as he got into the work and especially the removal of the old units that were in each condo but Alex and Tom stayed late, worked long hours and made it happen without complaining. I think the difference between Alex and some others that I have worked with can best be summed up by saying that he really wanted to make things better for us, he knew that he could and he did! This is an excellent company and I recommend them to anyone who needs to get HVAC work done.

We went with a 16 SEER unit and a 95.5% heater. It was important to us that we be as energy efficient as possible. The day of installation he was very prompt with his crew and respectful of our space. He left our patio and basement cleaner than when he left. As with any old house, there were a few snafus but he quickly solved them. Before he left, he showed us how to use the equipment, change out the heater filter, and programmed our thermostat. You can tell that he is a detail-oriented person who strives to do his best with every job. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

He showed on time, and took his time tuning up my A/C unit. He even gave recommended maintenance items.

We used another air-conditioning repair service for many years. After the owner retired, I wasn't sure where to turn when our air conditioner would not stop running. Decided to try Aktion Air because it was locally owned and based in our neighborhood. Alex, the owner, showed up on time for both appointments. He was professional, explained very clearly what he found, and presented several options for dealing with the issues. We were completely satisfied with his work, his professionalism, and the price.

Extremely satisfied! Like the fact that we were dealing with the business owner. He was very punctual, neat, and diligent. He was eager to explain what he was doing in clear terms. Made a very good impression and seemed very trustworthy.

Alexander is very professional, puntcual, clean (uses shoe covers), dependable, reasonably price.  He even came on a holiday weekend when our original older unit malfunctioned (in zone 1 of our house)

I was looking to change my old furnace for a while, just got tired of paying high gas bills and periodic funky burning smell. A friend of mine told me about Aktion Air which fixed his A/C not too long ago, so I decided to give it a try.  So I called them to find out some info, the usual questions. Few days later a guy came out took a look at my old junk :), he assessed the whole job and gave me few options.  I went with High Efficiency Goodman, which he installed in the jiffy. Overall service was great, tech was on time, clear on the pricing part and whole job was done with quality, no issues to this day.  I would definitely recommend these guys.

They came exactly when they said they would, the service person was very friendly and professional and fixed our heater quickly. He explained what the problem was, located the part we needed, and got everything running again in no time. We would definitely call them again.
