The installation went through smoothly and on time. The employees have very good communication skills and were very considerate. At the same time, there was a careless mistake in the electrical work. When I told the supervisor there was a repair person at the house within an hour to correct it. The electrical installation was fine but could have gone from good to excellent.
The sales person is very good at his job but I feel a little aggressive. Maybe that is what makes a good salesman.
I would definitely ask Haller to bid on another job in the future but I also would look favorably at some other company's in the area.

Installation was prompt and the installers capable and professional. Salesperson was slow to respond and misrepresented the air conditioning seer rating as it had to be coupled with a higher level heating unit than they quoted in order to reach that seer. After I complained they did provide a refund of $400 of the price paid to offset the loss of Gov't. rebate. So far my issue has been with the salesperson rather than company.

It started out with a sewer smell coming from my laundry machine drain - but at first I couldn't tell where it was coming from - so I called them and they came out. I in fact told him it was not the drain (which I later realized I was wrong). Naturally with my misinformation he could not "find" the problem - however, as the smell got worse I realized I was wrong and called again. They came out again - they didn't charge me! Even though it was my fault, the second trip was no charge. How great! Both men were extremely kind and filled with information. I enjoyed them so much that I signed up for the preventive maintenance (servicing the water heater, AC and Heating) two times per year. They will look at other things while they are there too (for instance they fixed a plunger in my bathroom drain while they were there looking for the smelliness). I have had one preventive maintenance visit since then and again very friendly and professional.

This review is written one year and four months after installation. I had six different companies give an estimate in November 2011 and Haller Enterprises was the winner. From the start there was a problem. A service valve leaked refrigerant in the Climate Master Tranquility 27 unit and the part had to be ordered. The thermostat temperature for heating was set at 72 degrees and the temperature out was no higher than 86 degrees. In March of 2012,I spoke to another company and they asked if someone from Haller had come out to check the system because 86 degrees out is to low. A technician from Haller who was not trained in Geo-thermal arrived to add water to the closed looped pipes and say that there was a leak in the pipes. This turned out not to be true. On April 16,2012 outside temp 86 degrees and inside temp 79 degrees. No improvement after 1 hour and made emergency call to Haller who had a tech here within 1/2 hour. The compressor overheated and would not function. The tech cooled down the compressor with water and now 52 degrees out of vents and now good. On May 13,2012 again 77 degrees in house and set to 75 degrees. Went outside to hear no sound from the Geo unit. Turned off the system at the thermostat and went out for 3 hours. Arrived and turned on the system and now 52 degrees out of vents. On June 3,2012 the unit would not heat. Well this continued on until Oct 3,2012 when the CXM board and a "Secure Start" was installed on the Geo unit. In an effort to keep us in comfort during the winter, the returns have been enlarged and the top return has been blocked. This will be reversed in the summertime. I believe that Haller has done their best to try and keep us comfortable.

The guy showed up on time and he was very professional , cleaned up after him.

The repairman was on time, professional, and did it in a timely manner. I tried to call three other plummers but only one called back and he did know when he could do it. I wasn't thirlled with the cost but sometimes you have to pay to more to get the job done.

In a previous review, I said Haller had installed a water softener for me and had also become involved with a malfunctioning boiler. The boiler was new... had been put in by someone else... and was a nightmare. After I was able to get rid of the boiler, Haller came back and replaced it with a furnace and water heater. What a difference. Haller was very professional though the entire process and did a great job. Everything works fine! It's also great to know that if I need service, I can call them 24/7. No more weekends without heat!

They did a really good job. I would recommend them to other people.

I stopped at their Palmyra store to see what they had. Sales people were very professional. They told me to bring back a sample of my water to determine what I need... then said my water wasn't especially hard and it was a matter of personal preference whether to order a new softener... no "hard sell" at all. I decided to replace the old, non-working one anyway. The installation was perfect... on time, as estimated, work area left clean, old equipment removed. Great job. The sales guy (Chad) has even taken the time to trouble-shoot a faulty gas boiler installed by someone else. Couldn't ask for more.

Very professional, well done work, very good craftsmanship. They are not the cheapest but they are probably the best. They are nice to deal with, they do a good estimate, like I said their price is a little bit higher than everybody else but everything is negotiable.

I have been pleased with my experience with them. They are knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I will use them again in the future.

When I asked for an estimate and the various heating options we had to replace our old boiler I felt that Haller was very impartial and fair in their advice. The estimate came in a bit higher than the other estimates I got, we were able to make a couple adjustments to make that more palatable, but mainly I chose Haller because of the excellent reports on Angie's List. I am very happy that we chose Haller. The job went very well from start to finish and was very professionally done. I felt they did an excellent job as the furnace room where the installation took place was very small and cramped quarters, yet the job looks beautiful and actually saved some space. Several experienced individuals have looked at the job and commented on the excellent craftsmanship. The system had a small problem I noticed after the first day and Haller sent out a technician to fix it the next day even though it was a Saturday. The system works very well, seems to be efficient (it will take a full heating season to know for sure) keeps the house warm easily and we have plenty of hot water. Very happy with the quality of work done.

we currently use the contract agreement for our HVAC annual service plan. After having a plumbing issue with the upstairs laundry, and having to call out another plumber on a weekend to snake the house. We contacted Haller that monday, who came out and gave us a quote the next day to move washer and dryer to basement and install new plumbing into to main line in the basement. They showed up promptly at 7:30. After flushing all water through line, they tapped into main sewer line only to realize the sewage was backed up. Thankfully my husband was there to help. They looked at our sewage pump grinder to realize the floaters failed, causing nothing to be pumped out, which is where all the issues stemmed from with water backing up on the second floor laundry. it was a mess to clean up. They called out additional assistance. The parts were not available for the pump, but the guys helped my husband clean up inside and outside and instructed how to manually turn on the pump until the parts came in. We also had new new energy eff hot water heater installed same day after realizing our was not installed to code. they were only supposed to be there 3 hours , ended up 2 servicemen for 9 hours , very professional, they didnt even take lunch, i think at one point my husband offered to get somehting for them, but they declined. It was a long day for them, and not one complaint.

Actual installation required an interior modification to the job that the estimator and sales person were unaware of.

The maintenance fee is around $270 a year. I really like that they put little booties on their feet when they come in the house so they don’t get the floors dirty. They take care of everything, they don’t make a mess, they come when they are supposed to, and they always call before they come to make sure that we are home. They installed our unit about five years ago and we have been very satisfied with them. We will definitely continue using them.
